Oh laird, Icarus; I don't think that was such a good idea.

Brovo, Brovo! Please don't bag Icarus; he's developed advanced Stage IV Icarus Disorder; an incurable life-threatening condition causing uncontrolled smart-assed side effects.

So ... that being said ... could I ... say ... interest you in a pack of pre-cataclysm MREs to change your mind?

@Everyone: Post is up.

MAP NOTES
Unless otherwise specified, all areas have at least minor cover available. (ex: Hiding behind a vehicle in a street, a piece of debris, a pillar inside a building, etc.) Though hiding around the corners of buildings and specifically set up sand-bags and defenses, or behind mechs, is always more effective cover.

Reinforcements will arrive in North and West over time. Those Reinforcements may be called back if South and East start to struggle. Failing to send them back may result in forces penetrating through those barriers.

If you want to enter a building, simply say so. The interior of the building will be revealed in the next round. In the case of buildings as large as the mansion or for additional floors, a second level map will be made. There are windows you can attempt to get through on the sides of buildings lacking a doorway, though this leaves you vulnerable for a few seconds.

@Retrieval:

@U-ARM WEST:

@Shadow Zone Wing:

@BOROV: Y U CLONE WEST AND NORTH MAPS.

Answer: Because I'm a very busy man and if I can reuse the same resources to equal effect you bet your ass I will.

If you have any questions, feel free to mention them. Before you do something in a Darwinist fashion, preferable.

Are the machine gun turrets already manned, or do the grunts and listeners have to man them? (Well, a pilot could too I guess but they have mechs.)

They're manned. That's why there are two green dots there, to denote the people manning the turrets.

@Retrieval Team: Just talked to Brovo a little bit and asked if I could get Georgia to parachute in on top of the mansion. Guess that's in the clear, so she'd be starting in on the fourth level of the mansion if she did that. I actually have a plan if I go through with that if you're all willing to hear me out on this...

Group splits up into two fronts...

First group: Georgia and Nathanial: Sweeping the mansion from up top and down for Eve. We're in charge of finding Eve and peacefully convincing her to come with us. We have diplomacy and traits stacked with us and the highest chances of not spooking her. We'll clear from the top and down and move from the mansion level four down to the ground to make our exit after finding and convincing Eve to come with us.

Second group: Defensive Line: This will be the rest of the team. They will deploy down to the ground as usual and set up a defensive line and make sure to keep anyone who slips through the cracks from coming after Eve or the rest of us. If they do, they'll radio in to us, give a position and direction, make sure we can either avoid them or have a fair enough warning that we can take them out. Basically try to make sure our exit route is secure so that we can make it to one of the other combat zones for evac once Eve is secure.

We'll probably want a grunt (Roman with his shotgun?) inside with you guys, because chances are things are going to be in there anyway. But yeah, Eira and Paris would work better outside considering their weaponry and all that.

EDIT: Oh, and Eira and Paris could use their drones to search the smaller buildings.

I like the general plan, but I think a slight amendment (or maybe clarification if you already intended this but didn't clearly outline it) to the ground group side of the plan would be good. They ought to not just hold a defensive line, they should go ahead and look through and clear the first floor and make sure to keep an eye on any ways down from the higher floors. Eve could always be hanging out on the first floor, as could various baddies who might've gotten there before us, and we need to make sure we know all the routes in and out of the place so nothing surprises us. Just keeping the ground team hanging out outside would be rather foolish, I think.

I think having a third for the higher floor scouting is alright, but after we actually find her and start talking to her we may want to have that person head down if shit's going crazy with stuff slipping through the battle lines. Roman would be a good pick since his gun's scope has Infrared mode on it, so that's helpful for finding stuff hiding in the building.

The problem is I highly doubt Eira's mech will fit inside, and leaving her outside by herself is going to get her killed.

EDIT:

These neighbourhoods were known for their higher class stealth predators, ordinarily off limits to civilians.

There will definitely be shit waiting inside.
