Is it a safe assumption the RP has died? No posts in two days...

I was once in an RP that stayed alive for about a year and a half after it devolved into one or two posts a month.

What the heck is with people freaking out about no posts for two days? I've had a roleplay be stationary for a month, before coming back.

We have lives. I'm sorry but the last four days have been pretty crappy for me, and I don't see them getting better in the next few days.

However, I am feeling better and I will figure out a post to write today. Right now though, real life issues are more important to me, despite the fact that I love to roleplay.

I panic, leave me be! I have stuff to do too, I just have some time in the day when I can hop on. I'm new to this, remember?
Anyway, a previous RP forum I was on had a three day posting limit. If you didn't have at least one post in that time, the RP was considered abandoned. I see the Two Days Ago thing, I think "Christ! Three day limit! Need to say something!"

Well. Sorry. I'm currently looking at my subscription page which has several DECENT roleplays that are currently a little slow. One I have been waiting two weeks for a post, but given that the people have said they have things like EXAMS and FAMILY THINGS or ASSIGNMENTS I am understandable. People have lives. I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to post on this, but have been just doing quick posts on roleplays that do not care if I write two sentences. I'm sorry I haven't had the time to form a post, but I have had three assignments due just this week, and four interviews, as well as a family drama. I'm sorry I haven't been able to spears the time when life gets in the way and im sure that others have similar issues as me.

I've always said that real life comes first, and thought most people felt the same thing. I know that invariant also has a busy schedule, but I'm sure they will be sad to see you go here. No doubt you have already I unsubscribed, but this has made me fell better about a crappy week.

I'm sorry if this upsets anyone. Im just tired of people complaining that there aren't any posts when this is perhaps the busiest time of the year for anyone in school, university or just in life. I did however give notice in my signature that I will be busy and that I will try to post and be as active as possible. I had this sig up for a few weeks now, and would have thought that was advanced notice, but did email most of the GMs (when they weren't me) saying I'd be busy and sorry if I'm Not active.

Well, thank you, Caits, for the guilt trip. Now I feel like a total jerk with no life.

Maybe I'm just lucky I don't have tonnes to do right now. If you are being weighed down, I'm sorry about that. But my point is that there are other RPs capable of toughing it out through this period of difficulty.

We all have things to do. I just happen to be fortunate enough to get a spare half hour to an hour every day. And I get that not everyone does have the same free time I do, that their schedules are overloaded with essays, assignments and family problems. I'd just rather RP with those who do have free time.

I don't blame anyone. It's no-one's fault. But unlike you, I don't have anything I need to deal with critically right now. I don't know how to say it without feeling like an insensitive arsehole, but I don't have to worry about such things.

Maybe you shouldn't roleplay until everything is sorted out. I mean, not roleplay at all. It will give you more time to focus on the things that actually matter.
