I likely won't have a CS up until around the same time as the OOC. Hmm...

Though, my character does require a bit of pre-RP character interaction, namely for the offline interactions as my character doesn't meet people in person. If anyone is interested in hearing more about that, please send a PM my way. Zombehs, your character might actually be perfect, since mine is a programmer.

Yeah, I'll likely finish my CS, and just won't post it until the OOC. Especially because I'll look at it every couple hours and make little changes, and this will let me get that out of the way. (I tend to edit little bits of my CS either right before, or right after I post it. :P)

Appearance: Just a typical guy with glasses. Nariaki is not buff at all, nor is he fat. He leans a little bit more towards the skinny side but he is definitely not lanky. His features are not chiseled, but he is not baby-faced either. He just looks like an average guy.
Personality: In real life, one may think of Nariaki as being reclusive, and completely focused on his studies, but in reality, he doesn't even have to study. People only assumes he studies a lot because of his good grades and the stereotype that people with glasses study a lot. He is a little bit hard to speak to, however, since he becomes nervous when it comes to social interaction. Because of this, people see him as really uptight, but that is really just his nerves getting to him, since the way he deals with feelings of nervousness is to appear stern to those he interacts with. He really enjoys roleplaying, but only online. In real life, he is completely ashamed of it, to the point where he becomes paranoid whenever he roleplays online, and tries to hide it as much as possible. This is why when he uses his laptop to play the game, he makes it a point to let others believe he is studying really, really hard.

Appearance: The 'Meow'sician can not only play the lute, but also the flute, accordion, organ, violin, xylophone, harmonica, drums, triangle, and the bagpipes. He only ever takes a flute and a lute with him when he goes travelling, however; due to the limited size of his inventory space. In addition to his light armor, he also wears This hat and he also has a long tail that is not really fluffy. His flute is made of silver and has ornate rosethorn designs engraved into it, and is his most prized possession, having received it as a gift by the GMs for being such an entertaining bard. His lute is not as special, but he prefers to use it as he can also sing while playing it. His two short swords are nothing out of the ordinary, except for the long blue ribbons he has tied to the grips, to give an impressive flowing effect whenever he actually uses his weapons.
Personality: Cat puns. Nothing but cat puns. The 'Meow'sician wants everyone to call him that even though his name is Nekoiaki; simply because of the cat puns. In real life, Nariaki cringes every time he makes a pun, but goddamn it, he needs to stay in character! He likes to explore the world and hear stories, so that he can sing deeds about heroes he has met (while making as many cat puns as possible), but when it comes down to it, The 'Meow'sician can handle himself in a fight, and likes making new friends. He doesn't care so much for levelling, because that just detracts from the travelling and gallivanting he gets to do. Of course, he does need to level up sometimes in order to explore new zones, but for the most part he gets by on performing at taverns and occasionally fighting a monster or two with fellow travellers he meets on the way. He had been playing since a week after launch, and has caught the attention of some GMs, who gave him a silver flute as a gift for being so awesome.

Real life Nariaki doesn't really know why he does any of this anymore. Doesn't mean he'll stop.

A.J is an American student of Japanese Culture and Linguistics, so it isn't that surprising that she is actually an American looking girl speaking fluent Japanese at one of the most important ports in Japan, right?
Personality: A.J studied for months about Japanese formalities and habits, so it's pretty obvious she would use those findings in public.
It is outside of her public life where you find the true A.J. This girl is wild, she's a huge otaku and collector of all things Japanese. She's literally crazy about everything from the toys to the food and the games. That's actually what brought her overseas, as she is a big fan of JRPGs and MMORPGs originating from the Orient and Pacific Islands. Other than her sporadic behavior about her obsessions (she says, "life's greatest gift"), she cannot talk about anything else. She begins to choke up and stumble over topics because she's not really informed about them, which makes her sort of naïve and indifferent to what could really hurt her, and this makes her bold and hardheaded. You can see why she only talks about what she knows. However, she's very candid and kindhearted, always lending a hand and being a polite young woman to whomever she meets or talks to, even over online games, which surprises most people since online gamers are usually very introverted and prefer to play solo as compared to what the game usually entails.

Just realized how close most of the current cast is, (excluding Ms. AJ, who is roughly 2-3 hours away from the others), there is only only a ward or two between each char's residence. Finished personality(ies possibly) should be finished by later today.

Personality: Hot headed and a bit of a tom boy. Well, 'a bit' is somewhat of an understatement......ok it's a HUGE understatement. It's to the point where she's consider manlier than even most guys with no femininity at all. People in and around Tama have taken to calling her the 'Ogre of Tama River' from the time she laid waste to a small pack of 5 guys who tried to run out on paying their tab (back during her 2nd year of college when she was part-timing during summer break at her family's bar). While most agree that she's quite attractive, some aren't exactly turned on by the fact she's stronger and far more athletic than they are. Being a tomboy who loves to fight and having the nickname 'Ogre of Tama River' doesn't really help her case either. Told by friends if she keeps this up, she'll never find anyone willing to date her, she just shrugs and simply tells them she has no interest in such things and considers them nuisances. When she's not working, her time is per-occupied with playing games and reading manga. She has a hobby of writing manga, though they tend to be on the H side, covering varying topics. A friend of hers once came in and looked at one of them, and once again, her imagine around Tama continues to get worse.

Personality: When in-game her personality is different to the point where you couldn't believe that Asuna and Kurenai are one in the same. As 'Kurenai' she takes on a more laid back attitude who will use her avatars looks to seduce and trick players out of gold and items or to use them to accomplish missions requiring parties with promises of a good share of the reward (or another reward, like contact information) before making off with all of the loot and leaving them with nothing. She's also lead quite a few players into traps only to get pk'd by another party for a bounty. She makes it quite hard for people to tell who the real her is and whether shes telling the truth or not.

He goes off on binges regularly doing this, spending days at a time off on a random tangent. Usually such things will also find there ways into his art, and he will claim that it is by those things that he gets his inspiration. He is not the best at reading situations, or so he would like others to believe, he is very clever, but will blissfully act ignorant.
