Well, we have alchemist grenades and such. So probably. Really, the question is not if we have gunpowder, but if it is commonly used or not.
Oh and for photos, there is the good ol' Camera Obscura, aka the precursor for Cameras, and that thing traces back to 390s BCE. Which... really doesn't relate all too much. And I mostly included it here for the sheer fun of it. Only reason I brought it up.
But for a Stalker Shrine, paintings are superior to photographs. Takes longer to do, more creepy, especially if they are all missing the head because no artist could properly recreate the BEAUTY of the stalk-y.
