There was the brief moment I pondered a terrifying, lovecraftian-sort of monster that was the sole resident of the dimension, which would start messing with my character, but considering that it stems pretty far from the RP, unless Allen liked the idea of a sub-plot involving it, I decided against any sort of resident beings in the dimension.

Nobody threw down it's coffee mug.

"What the hell are you doing in here?" it said, floating over to the girl who had yet again busted into his home. "Last time you were in here you busted the TV, and made a mess of the rug. Stop coming in here or I will be forced to get the stick! Now out with you!"

With that, it punted this strange girl out of it's dimension, waiting for her to appear some other time in it's time of rest. Annoying kids need to get off his pocket dimension.

Hmmmm... It is a cool power, but I think it could use some limitations/drawbacks. A fellow mod brought up how it'd be basically uncounterable if used creatively enough. She could drop in, stab someone, and activate her power, no one would be able to track her, and only a sneak attack could prove useful against her. I know you don't really make characters to fight and all, but the idea is a bit OP. I would suggest adding some drawbacks/limitations. The monster hunting her would be a good drawback, it'd force her not to stick around in place too long while a ghosty ghoul. I'm fine with it either way. I'd also suggest that she isn't completely undetectable (Perhaps her outline can be seen if someone looks close enough).

Well, I don't mind doing a faint outline, and if the monster is there, it's good character development; I just didn't know if you would approve of something like that. At any rate, people might freak out of she loses her intangibility, but she's got injuries like something attacked her, which shouldn't be possible. It's a way to add horror elements to a story.

I honestly think that having to hold her breath is a great drawback, and that her lung capacity should just be that of a regular human. Which of course, she can train.

And there is a pretty obvious limit that she can have that no one seems to have touched on: how much time does it take for her to actually make herself intangible? I'd say about 0.5 seconds would be a good limit for that, and with reaction time, it could take her less than or over 1 second between seeing something she has to avoid, and actually activating her power.

In my opinion, thats pretty balanced.

I actually don't understand this fixation with this character having to hold her breath. The power is fine. She can't harm anybody in it, the character itself probably isn't a psychopath, and there are monsters hunting her as long as she is in that state. It's fine as it is.

Is that post meant for Paige, serpent? I just want towns sure because I I haven't actually had her enter the bunker yet. I want to be sure I'm not missing something someone else wrote and writing a reply for an event that didn't happen to her.

My main reason for "this fixation" is that it's impossible to breath if the air just passes through your body. She could probably bring the air already in her lungs with her (otherwise she'd lose the water in her body as well and die the first time she used the power), but converting more whilst intangible would likely be impossible.

If she can pass through walls and follow the laws of gravity differently in this state, it's a safe enough bet your body doesn't operate as it normally would.

Or fuck, ghost oxygen or some shit. I really don't care at this rate.

I think to explain that away and the requirement to hold her breath, how about her power envelops her in a sort of dimensional shield that covers her skin, hair, eyes, nose, etc. So she keeps the air already in her lungs when she shifts into this other dimension, and possibly anything else that she extends the shield onto, like her clothes, or a bag, or another person...

Of course, this shield is just there to keep her together in this other dimension: different dimension means different physics, which means her molecules are going to behave differently. Which could easily mean she will quickly turn to soup. It doesn't do anything else. Not that I can think of anyway..

Mark and Henry would become the lizard rider.

Everyone would lose as Henry used Tetsuya as a launch pad to get into the enemy base. Then Mark would jump off, grab the flag, jump back on Henry, and then ride back to home base while bludgeoning anyone who got in the way with the flag.
