How is everyone? :D If you guys want, we can start IC tonight and you can get the opinion thing done before any interaction between characters (first post would be leaving home and getting on the train and other stuff, no real conversation required other than with NPCs.)

Also, you guys down for collaborating some posts? (not now, but later on). If so, google docs or piratepad, or what?

That would be fantastic! I would love to be able to start posting even if it's just introductions at this point.

Post collaboration is fine in my opinion. I just want to ask that if/when we do, we have a clear break or some kind of marker between character point-of-view changes. I've read some post collabs that didn't in the past, and it can be really confusing to read.

I've never heard of pirate pad. What's different about it compared to Google Docs?

To be honest I've never used it, just it's commonly used I believe and I considered that there may be people here who preferred it. I'm pretty happy with docs though.

I'll get to work on some sort of an opening post in the next couple hours.

Adelie: Meant her during Quidditch after he saved her from a calculated and deliberate act from another slytherin to knock her off her broom with a bludger. Zef respects Adelie not only for the fact that she often worries about him, but also because she is gentle and kind even if he does find her too trusting of others. They both get a long well even though she often gets embarrassed when Zef is blunt. She introduced Zef to everyone else in the group.

Rin: Rin and Zef are what you call rivals in a lot of ways her being adept in DADA very much like he is they are always having little duels here and there to try and overcome the other which usually ends in a draw. Zef respects Rin for her ability to drive him to the edge when dueling and her attitude that has no end. They are probably among the closest in the group if not because of their friendly competitions but it depends on whos looking at it. Meant Rin through Adelie

Stella: Stella and Zef have what you might call a tin and foil type relationship, while they both have respect for each others morals they differ widely most often being that both have tendencies to do things the other disagrees with. But in reality this is sort of the same thing that makes them friends, you know what they say opposites always tend to attract and work in the end. Meant Stella through Adelie.

Calvin: Respects Calvin deeply not only because of their pasts being eerily similar in some ways, but because they both have nightmares in their pasts and they both strive for something more then that past. Also being the only males of their group they more often then not have banded together and Calvin is the only one he has ever really shared the truth of his past with. Meant Calvin through Adelie as well.

Ok I did my best on this haha my head has been so bloody all over the place its hard to write xD

Made a post. Apologies about its length and possible grammatical errors, I'm on my phone. Just wanted to get it out there.

Thanks! I went ahead and posted, too. Let me know if there are any weird grammatical errors. It's basically 2am here right now, and I sort of back tracked after I originally wrote my entire post and changed the whole thing, soooo it's also possible there could be some weird inconsistency I didn't catch. Let me know if you see that, too. I'm too sleepy to catch it myself at this time, and I just really wanted to get my post up.

Nice looking posts guys. Sorry mine sucks in comparison. From now on I'll make sure I post on something I am actually good at using. :D

Also very promising, should be active and actually last rather than die. :D

is there a posting order? cuz i think instead of waiting for four others to post by the next time you do is a little much. may i suggest two others between posts?

like:
me
person
person
me?

it will help if anyone else is as impatient and excited as me ^^

I think that if we do it that way, we risk alienating people who are a little slower at posting. What if it was less about a specific posting order and more about groupings?

For instance, right now, the established posting order would be:

1. Nevermind
2. TWCross
3. Thought Manifest
4. Whirlwind
5. Shadowcatcher

but instead we could see it more like everyone has posted once, so everyone is at liberty to post again in any order. We just can't start the third round of posting until everyone else has made their posts. Does that make sense? I can't really try a proper visual, but I'll try to reason it out better.

Let's say that Whirlwind wanted to post next (in the second round of posting) even though Nevermind, TWCross, and I haven't posted yet. That could be okay. Basically, she could post, but she wouldn't be able to post again until the rest of us have caught up. Once the four remaining players have posted, she can post again or wait until another person posted. Or... to give you an idea using yourself (shadowcatcher), once someone else has started the second round of posting, you could make your post at any point instead of having to wait until the very end again.

We'll need Nevermind's approval, but I think that way might be better for those of us with busier lives. If each player can post after just two posts, it's possible that one or more of us could be left in the dust while two or three characters were able to interact without the rest of the characters putting forward their reactions, too. I hope that all made sense. If not, I'll try explaining it better.

Oh and I like manifest's idea about the order. The way she explained it makes sense

I'm gonna' post next (in a couple hours, I'm out ATM)

For now, we need some kind of a post order, not a very specific one though, (accurately displayed by manifest), but later on we can be more loose - for example, the group may split up and there could be two different scenarios going on, so a post order wouldn't be needed. Also, collabs wouldn't fit in with as much of a post order.

Posted.
Also, a side note - I think it could be cool if we created the teachers, give them a bit of personality. If any of you have any interest in making a mini-app for one (like the one of the bully) then that would be great.

I'll make a transfiguration teacher. Should any of the ones we make be the heads of our houses? Or do we leave that like the books? Snape head of Slytherin, etc.?
