Yes, possession! In Aera we take vows as part of our culture to become one with the other, so each party owns the other and themselves. This is to symbolise the trust between them! We speak these vows when we take up an occupation or enter a family.

We do in Aera!

I feel like we may be on the wrong page of what context of "own" we mean.

I'm perfectly clear. You don't own another being like you would an animal.

No! You still misunderstand! In Aera, we take vows as part of our culture to become one with the other, so each party owns the other and themselves. This is to symbolise the trust between them! We speak these vows when we take up an occupation or enter a family. It's also what's spoken when taking the responsibility of anothers life into your hands, including pets. I don't mean physical ownership!

I don't care how you word it. That's irrelevant.

It isn't the wording! We have another meaning for "ownership," which is a mutual trust and affection between two or more individuals. You're angry about slave-like ownership. Now you're just being unreasonable.

Then keep your opinion to yourself and stop your culturally discriminatory views from becoming spoken word.
