After Sam was finished telling everyone where their rooms were and all the places that they could and couldn't access, Beauty started to explore around. This place had a lot of nice things. The nerd Evan was all jacked up over the computers, Beauty just laughed at the whole situation. No one should be that excited over a damn computer. While walking around Beauty saw that a new girl walked into the house, why was she wearing a fox mask? I guess the resident freak has arrived, Beauty thought to herself. She started to walk around some more, looking at things. Beauty went into the kitchen to get something to eat. There was all different kinds of treats in the cabinets and the fridge. Beauty almost fell over with glee when she saw her favorite snack, red velvet cupcakes. She took a couple out of the container. Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad, if they keep these cupcakes around I will be happy.

After eating them, Beauty was headed to her room. On the way she saw Axle and Ralph looking at whatever out of the window, with binoculars. Wow, now I have to live with perverts. Seeing that her bags were still near the stairs Beauty wasn't up to carrying her bags, up the giant stairs. "I know what I'll do." Beauty transformed into her superhero persona Kisses Galore, when she transformed her birds; Fluffy, Pinky, Rose, and Creampuff appeared. The four of them were the size of 2 minivans. "Hey my beautiful darlings can you help me with my bags please, just follow me to my room, loves." In her Kisses Galore form Beauty was way nicer, that was the only time most people saw her nice side. With that the birds each grabbed two bags around their long necks, following Beauty/Kisses Galore up the stairs. "Thank you my loveys, here take some cupcakes." Kisses Galore gave them a cupcake each, devouring the cupcakes in seconds. After they were finished eating, Beauty turned back into her regular self. "Thank God for those beautiful birds." Beauty put her hand on the scanner, the screen above her room turned on. "Miss Beauty Matthews, Superhero name Kisses Galore, please establish a valid password." Beauty had to think up one that she would remember, just in case she was to drunk one day. "Beauty Is The Greatest." The screen above her room sprung to life, with a picture of her as beautiful as ever. "Access granted." With that Beauty entered her room.

The room was nice, it was all pink just like Beauty's parents requested for her. The room smelled of vanilla and lavender scented candles. She put her bags near the dresses, deciding to put them away later. "Not bad...not bad at all." Beauty was starting to like the place, it wasn't home but it would do for now. Beauty saw the vanity dresser with a giant mirror on it, near the end of her room. She took out her make up and set it up on the dresser. She would sleep for a bit, and maybe wake up feeling better about the place, maybe.

Ralph made his cartoon binoculars disappear and he decided to check out his room at the mansion. He saw that Beauty needed help with bags, but before he could he saw her change into her superhero persona and several creatures got her bags for her. Ralph was impressed, and he continued on to his room. Once there he pressed his finger against the place where he was suppose to put it, and he heard an electronic voice tell him that his DNA was recognized. It then asked for a password to be put in and Rakph almost immediately knew what it would be.

"I hope you like cartoons, because it's about to get whacky around here" he spoke to the computer and it responded.

"Password accepted, thank you." the doors then opened and he got to look around his room. It much bigger than his room at home and there were some neat stuff in it.

"So this where I'll be staying" he said to himself and a construct of Bug Bunny appeared and he chewed on a carrot.

"Eh...not bad doc" the rabbit said before disappearing.

Axle sees Suzy puck up a rock, "Holy Sh*t, other heroes, neat." He says before setting down his binoculars. His stomach growls. 'I haven't eaten since breakfast.' He pats his stomach thinking. He leaves his dorm.

"Now... If I were a kitchen where would I be..." He says quietly to himself walking down a hallway. He reaches the dining room, "...and if this is set up like every other mansion, ever, the kitchen should be here." He says walking in to the only other door in the dining room, which leads to the kitchen. 'Sweet...' Axle opens the fridge 'Ingredients!' He closes the fridge, he goes to the pantry 'More ingredients, excellent!' Axle goes to find an Apron, and a Hat or something to hold his hair back. Once he finds them he begins to make a sandwich.

Frostbite made his way downstairs, wondering what was specifically in the underground hanger when he heard faint gunshots nearby. This caused him to tense, he pulled his freeze gun from it's holster and pulling on the tube that connected it to his suit. When he turned a corner with his weapon raised, he noticed that the gunfire had been coming from the training room. Holstering his weapon, he approached the door, only for it to tell him that 'a session was in progress.' Frostbite looked around for a bit, figuring there must be some kind of observation room, which he found up a small flight of stairs. The observatory for the training room wasn't very big, lined on one side with chairs while on the other with a series of glass windows that overlooked the training room, along with a small desk that probably allowed one to speak into the room during a session.

Peering into the room below, Frostbite saw Sniper was in some kind of ruined, urban environment, fighting against what were probably holographic enemies. He crossed his arms as the 'living' targets fired upon the lone man who was hiding behind cover. Frostbite wasn't sure if the simulation hid the observation deck from those inside, hopefully not as it could be distracting to those using said room. It seemed the young man had chosen a moderate or difficult training program, as the holographic targets showed a kind of organization most gangs or low-grade mobsters would ever get on a battle field but the targets weren't moving like professional soldiers. Frostbite observed with interest, waiting to see what Sniper would do next.

"Whelp!" Sophie slapped the leather seats she rested upon and launcher herself back up from a heavily reclined position, "if that's it I'll be on my way." She had honestly expected more out of Sam's mouth than a welcome to the house of heroes. She could deduce herself this was where they'd stay; she wanted genuinely important information, not some invitation to become friends or family. Given how heavily the doors to each member's rooms were, she obviously didn't expect them to get along that much.

Swiping her bag from the floor, Sophie paid little mind to the rest of the company and headed straight for "her" room. One in particular had her name already printed on it's front. How quaint. At least it wasn't a personally fabricated art and crafts label made hastily the day before for each of them. As soon as she reached for the door handle, an electronic voice stopped her.

"First time user, please scan finger print." Sophie dropped her bag beside herself and pried a glove from her hand. Pressing her thumb to the glass surface, she waited for a red laser light to dart across the underside. "Sophie Kirkville, authenticated. Please provide a verbal password." She paused for a moment, coming up with something. If it was voice recognition and required one's fingerprint, she couldn't imagine using some super secret password would much more to the security. She could have fun with this one.

"Salad Tossing Table Turners," she said firmly, a big grin on her face. It was dumb, but it was funny to her nonetheless.

"Affirmed. Welcome Sophie Kirkville," the digital voice greeted. Sophie heard something unlock within the door frame and she reached for the handle, pulling it down and throwing the door open into a lavish room. Not lavish for long. With her foot, she hooked the strap of her bag and yanked it forward, launching the container into her room with a messy flop. Sophie entered and looked about, noting the clean bed sheets, the personal bathroom, a desk, chair, set of windows, and a television screen.

"Well I've seen enough." Despite having just entered the place she'd sleep in for a good duration of her life, she had already become disinterested. Sophie was never one to linger in her home much in the first place, so what her room turned out to be was of little importance; so long there was a bed made of something other than rocks, it sufficed. With one last passing glance, she looked again before exiting and shutting the door behind herself. With a look across both ends of the hallway, she noted where everyone else's rooms were. Pocketing her hands inside her jacket, she trudged down the hall and for some arbitrarily-sought corner of the mansion. Might as well scope the place out, she thought.

There were a number of loose trinkets and decorations practically caking the mansion in lavishness, and Sophie of course could not walk along without staring and considering the profit behind them all. This was "their" house, it seemed, so as far as she was concerned everything in it was shared... to a degree. Of course even if she didn't consider it hers, the objects were fair game all the same. Without a means of transportation she could use readily, though, she would forgo snatching up whatever her arms could carry to the pawn shop.

A grim realization returned to her head during the peruse across the mansion; Beauty was on her so called "Team One". Not to mention the leader-almighty herself, and that out of place digital dog. What terrible luck. Sophie shrugged her shoulders in agitation and thrust her arms lower for a moment, stretching the fabric of her jacket. She tried to diverge her mind from it, but given the utter lack of entertainment in this prinny mansion, it was difficult to busy herself otherwise. A loud moan escaped her throat as she kicked her shoes across the tile wood floors once and continued on.

Eventually her mindless meandering led her to the "training room". She expected punching bags and rubber mats, but instead found a sealed chamber door and an observatory to the side already occupied by someone else; Frostbite. Trudging up the stairs to get a better view of what this high-tech chamber was, she stepped beside Frostbite but remained silent, her attention turned on Sniper's ordeal. Holograms were cool, but it'd never help her given the nature of her powers. At best she'd just learn how to run around a bit better. To get anything serious done, she'd need someone to actually hurt her first.

With an unseen gesture of her hands -still embedded in her jacket pouches- she spoke to Frostbite with an utterly straight face.

"Would you mind turning the thermostat up? Getting cold in here."

Skyler reached down for the clip holstered in his belt and replicated a second one for rapid reload. After a moment of collecting his focus, Sniper revealed himself from cover and quickly released seven bullets in rapid succession, removing seven threats before a second clip went into the slot to release another seven as he gracefully moved towards another wall. Fourteen enemies went down easily, but it was to be expected. Phase two was bound to be easiest combat simulation in the system with mindless grunts aimlessly shooting in one direction. This was easer than phase one, but they were supposed to be different. Phase one never fought back, after all. Sniper went down to his knee and moved out of cover, releasing another bullet to end the last enemy and effectively finished the training session. "Well..." Sky stretched and twirled his gun. "That's enough handgun practice for now." He moved back towards the entrance and placed the gun back into the suitcase and reached for his sniper, assembling it in place and returned to the computer.

"Let's see..." There had to be some kind of long range practice on there. Sky started scrolling through the various modes and found melee, magical, ranged and various other alternatives. Clicking 'Ranged', he was brought to another list and clicked seven hundred meters which in turn sent him to a third list with various sceneries. "Oh this seems fun, a metropolitan, just like back home." With a last click on the screen, the entire room shifted and below his feet it seemed like a skyscraper stretched out with him on the roof. While none of it was real, it felt real, and it felt amazing. In front of him an entire city the size of New York stretched out and even though he knew that a wall actually blocked his path a few meters in front, it was as if he could jump down from the roof. The simulation would probably end if he indeed 'fell' down the side. "Let's begin." Sky smiled and sat next to the edge, resting his sniper against the railing and looked through the scope.

Cassandra watched as Suzy used an unusual method to dry herself and giggled with delight at the impressive display. Then Suzy asked her "Cassandra, if you don't mind me asking. What can you do? I mean, from what little the mayor man said we all have something that makes us special and I was just curious."

Cassandra lifts her eyebrows at the request and the divulged information.
The mayor knows a great deal but I have never met him.
I am what is kniown as A Sorceress.

Cassandra lifts her arms and begins chanting
Cur Chuige dom Glacadh mé Heed dom Ag mo ordú ar mo Iarratas Glacadh mé Tar chugam
Cur Chuige dom Glacadh mé Heed dom Ag mo ordú ar mo Iarratas Glacadh mé Tar chugam
Cur Chuige dom Glacadh mé Heed dom Ag mo ordú ar mo Iarratas Glacadh mé Tar chugam

Her travel bag is caught up in what looks like a tornado of flickering motes of light. It slowly drifts into the air it's mouth opening up.

Several pieces of fabric seem to explode from the bag and fly around Cassandra's form

Her chant increases in speed and volume
Cur Chuige dom Glacadh mé Heed dom Ag mo ordú ar mo Iarratas Glacadh mé Tar chugam
Cur Chuige dom Glacadh mé Heed dom Ag mo ordú ar mo Iarratas Glacadh mé Tar chugam
Cur Chuige dom Glacadh mé Heed dom Ag mo ordú ar mo Iarratas Glacadh mé Tar chugam

The pieces of fabric strike her body at different points each assuming the shape of a piece of needed clothing.

On a limb nearby Flicly calls loudly and with excitement as all this goes on.. Soon Cassie is fully clothed in silky robes that shimmer and catch the light as few if any earthly art of the weaver might.

I am as I said a Sorceress, a mistress of the arcane and I was sent here to serve Heros like yourself and those others that call there their hold says Cassandra as she reaches out and seizes her travel bag then turns towards the mansion.

Days Earlier

It was a horrible, rainy night. The torrential downpour drowned out the sound of shouting, guns, and destruction as an empty school building was ravaged by bullets and wildly flying desks and chairs. The chaos went on for the space of ten minutes before there was relative silence.

A fully armed and armored officer dug himself out of the dry wall and haplessly scrambled forward only to be sent into the other wall, this time colliding face first with a meaty thud against the brick. He didn't have time to stumble back and fall on his ass before dark-sleeved arms wrapped around him and pulled him down the hallway, jerking his head sideways. Elizabeth hastily pulled his collar down and chomped into his neck with inhuman canine fangs. She grimaced and hesitated briefly as blood escaped from her lips and trickled down, but continued to bite down and drink deep till the pounding in her head subsided. Not even a sound out of him. Already unconscious. Better that way.

A wave of SWAT officers filed into the corridor, guns at the ready and trained on Elizabeth. She spat out a misty cloud of blood when she heard them arrive. Her emerald eyes darted about the floor, then to the broken wall. Damn it! The gun was left in the wall. Even though it felt like there was no escape this time, she defiantly held onto her hostage and tried to keep cover behind him. Her legs and her breathing shook as she slowly retreated back, eyes flitting from the wall, to the floor, to the crowd, searching for a way out... but these guys were talented, and clever. Way to clever for her to outsmart and outrun. She could already hear footsteps tromping somewhere behind her. This wasn't the SWAT team. They wore unmarked uniforms. They were something else. Mercenaries. Soldiers in someone's pocket. But... something was strange. If they wanted her dead, they've have shot her by now.

"You can give up now, Ms. Hazelquist," spoke a gruff voice through a radio. Elizabeth looked askance at the crowd, the origin of the voice. She swallowed hard, the taste of warm blood still clinging at the back of her throat making her shudder with mild disgust. She took time to steady her breathing, and the static cue of the radio came on again.

"You're a dangerous woman, Ms. Hazelquist. Dangerous and incredibly elusive." He sounded... mildly impressed. Elizabeth stubbornly held her ground, listening closely.

"But, your criminal record leaves you dead to rights. Three counts of murder, six suspected murders, grand theft auto, countless instances of assault-"

"Shut up!" Elizabeth shouted, "I don't need you reading off my sins!" The outburst unsettled her assailants, almost bringing them to open fire. The assumed leader held up his closed fist, a signal to hold, and they all stopped, then shuffled back into position. Elizabeth was startled at first, trembling with anger and hurt, gritting her teeth and digging her fingers into the unconscious officer's black uniform.

There was an impatient sigh from the radio. "I want you to think hard about this, Ms. Hazelquist. You are dangerous, but you could be useful if you're dangerous to the right people. Do you understand where this is going?"

Elizabeth frowned and turned her eyes away from the crowd. There was a long moment of uncomfortable silence, then she nodded, and then mustered the will to respond. "Yes," she said, her bitterness apparent by even one word.

"Yes. I want you on my payroll. If you're willing to play nice and be a team player, I will help give you your life back." Elizabeth scoffed in disbelief, but held her tongue.

Something was messed up about this offer. Again, he could've ordered her dead if he wanted and she'd be gone, and no one would care. Her parents would maybe mourn briefly for their lost child, but Elizabeth figured they stopped giving a shit after she escaped from the psych ward. Elizabeth scrunched up her face in frustration. She didn't want to give in to anyone's demands for some likely bullshit gift of amnesty.

The static cue of the radio came on again, breaking her train of thought. "You know," the man said, "If you play your cards right, not only will that criminal record disappear, but you might even be hailed as a hero. I'm sure you'd much rather be seen as a hero than a monster."

Elizabeth tensed up briefly, then swung her head around to the crowd that began to surround her on all sides. All guns pointed at her, the red dots of laser sights covering her. She couldn't fight this.

It was a subtle cue of resignation, her long, tired sigh. She tossed away the unconscious officer in her arms, who fell limp to the floor.

"...I'm listening," she responded.

The swarm quickly surrounded her.
A door shut down the hall from Dixie, and in front of it stood a girl in dark street clothes. Elizabeth Hazelquist didn't command much of a presence at 5'8", and her dark apparel made her appear even more pale than she really was. The only thing that made her stand out was the directed gaze of her emerald eyes, holding some kind of unseen power. Elizabeth almost stepped away from her door, but she stopped midstep with her hand on the knob when she noticed Dixie. Elizabeth's gaze was then directed straight at her.

Elizabeth chuckled to herself and shook her head. Poor girl, so hopeful about this mess. Credit for the optimism, but Elizabeth had a good few reasons why it may never work.

"So I guess the new recruits are filing in, huh," she's says barely loud enough to be heard, "They're really at the end of their rope if they brought us in."

Elizabeth let her hand slip from the door and looked a little more 'closely' at Dixie. What else was she thinking?

Footsteps could be heard coming up the stairs into the training observatory, Frostbite took a quick glance to see it was Rakshasi before returning his eyes to the battle below. Sniper had started his attack, seeming quick with both the trigger and the reload. Frostbite's thoughts were interupted when he heard Rakshasi speak, "Would you mind turning the thermostat up? Getting cold in here."

Without moving, he gave her a blunt answer, "No." This was an obvious jab at him, while annoying it was nothing to get upset over. He continued to watch Sniper as he was now in some kind of sniping simulation.

Ralph left his room and was wondering what the others were doing when he heard Elizabeth talk about how the authorities had to be at the end of their ropes for them to bring them together. He went over to Elizabeth and Dixie, smiling at both of them in a goofy way.

"I know they didn't bring me to join this team because they were desperate, I'm one of the best heroes out there. There ain't no hero like me but me" Ralph said to them and a shining golden colored cartoon crown appeared on his head. The words 'hero royalty' were imprinted on it.

Dixie brought her bags into her room, eyes glancing up now and again as others explored or entered their rooms as well. After getting all her bags within, she stepped back outside, figuring she should explore the mansion so as not to get lost on a day when she’d need to find something immediately. As she was about to turn, a door shut and Dixie’s hearing picked it up immediately. She glanced down the way seeing a pale girl in dark clothes seeming to be very amused by something before speaking. So I guess the new recruits are filing in, huh. They’re really at the end of the rope if they brought us in. Dixie hesitated, looking confused as to what the girl meant. Then again, the words were too soft to be directed at her, and yet the girl had been looking at her the whole time. Dixie lifted a finger as if to respond, when Ralph appeared and said he was one of the best. It made Dixie blush and tilt her head down a bit again before clearing her throat and forcing herself to speak. ”It’s hard ta call yerself a hero I think. Ain’t that what others call ya when ya save them? I ain’t never saved nobody really, but I wanna try,” she said, looking quite vulnerable to their criticism now that she’d opened her mouth. Not only had she said Ralph wasn’t being humble in a roundabout way, she’d admitted her almost total lack of experience. Messing with her fingernails, she cleared her throat again and glanced to Elizabeth. ”Are you a old recruit?” she asked, since the girl had seemingly already been here, by her lack of presence at the meeting and calling all of them new. After she spoke her stomach growled loudly and she looked embarrassed once more, mumbling a soft “ ‘scuse me,” under her breath.

Seeing the display from Cassandra put a sparkle in Suzy's eyes as the fabrics danced through the air and onto her body. Dropping the heavy rock with a large "Thud" Suzy said "That was the coolest thing I have ever seen, and I'm the one who was lost in the fabric of time and space which, now that I think about it was more scary than cool."

Finished with her little ramble, Suzy turned to look at the mansion or whatever it was called behind them. It was quiet big, fancy looking, and a little on the odd side for her tastes. In her time it was rare to see something so big if it wasn't compound but she digressed. She wondered if other people were already there? That would be neat, all theses people with different powers just living together and fighting crime. Making a better place, a place were you don't need to carry guns and armor with you 24/7, 365. That sounded lovely.

Turning to what she hoped was a new friend, Suzy said "Since we are clean, do you think we should go to the mansion or whatever its called? Maybe some people have already shown up!" Suzy got excited at the thought of meeting new people and started to vibrate slightly in her childish glee.

Axle takes a bite of his newly made sandwich looking around the semi-chrome kitchen. He decides to take this time to reflect on himself and the people he now lives with. 'I really hope this isn't a tv show thing...' He takes a bite of sandwich as he looks around for cameras. 'Don't think E would like that. He already has GPS in my four limbs, can't blame him who would trust a politician anymore especially the mayor. What if this doesn't get him the votes he wants and the new guy hates all vigilantes for some reason. Well probably have to beat swat people away and go into hiding, I at least have Epsilon what about that Ralph kid, or that southern bell, Dixie I think, she doesn't look like she could hurt a fly. That robot dog, Mack I think, don't think E will appreciate me working with a product of what I could only assume is a rival company. He'll have to get used to it if he wants me to fit in.' The door to the kitchen opens and he's half way through his sandwich. 'I need a drink' he quickly thinks.

Sauntering down the hallway, with her tawny ponytail swishing from side to side each step she took, the tall and tranquil woman pocketed her hands into her dark azure blazer. Today had definitely gone less than to be expected. Easy. Almost too easy. It seemed strange though, that she would seek out a challenge, that she would cling to chaos even now. Sam was shocked to find that she'd rather have complications - given how important perfection was regarding the Mayor and his team. Maybe there was still a part of her that even now, rebelled even against her own safety, endlessly yearning for destruction and insanity.

Balling her hands into small fists, wrinkling her blazer in the process, Sam continued down to her room. Just as she could spot the metal of her door, Aaelith felt a presence behind her. Someone was watching. Turning her dark gaze behind her, she leveled her stare on the mutt that was just behind her now, almost next to her. With a snarl on her lips, Sam turned away, listening halfheartedly to the monotone voice that commanded forth her attention.

With an irritated huff, Sam diverted her attention from the door directly in front of her to turn and face the small creature. With one deft motion, she took her hands out of her pockets to place them at her hips, cocking her head to the side with a masterfully arched brow raising.
"What do I think?" She gave a breathy laugh, though no hint of amusement flashed in her steely gaze.

"I think....." She drew back the snarl, becoming somber in mere seconds. "I think that whatever this is," She motioned grandly around her, arms displaying the rooms, and the manor. "...Is only the beginning of something..." Her eyes darkened, and she opened her mouth to say the next few words, only to close it shut again. "Look -- never-mind what I think. It doesn't matter."

Turning to her door, Sam chanced another glanced at the metal beast. Her head was tilted at a forty degree angle, halfway between the door and Bladewolf. There was something behind her eyes, something less than hard, yet complex nonetheless. As soon as it had appeared, it had vanished, just like the early morning fog.
"Perhaps you should get to fixing a monitor, or whatever it is you do." Edged like a blade, her voice had cut through the silence between them, offering nothing other than her usual vehemence.

With that, Sam uttered her password "Lucter et Emergo", voice smooth as silk and dipped in molten fire. An ancient Latin, her native tongue. Her hand stretched forward, fingertip pressing against the reflective glass of the scanner. As her door opened, she slipped in quickly, hoping to keep the metal mutt from looking in. The door shut behind her.

*

Her back against the door, Sam covered her face with her hands before sliding down the length of the cold door, throat burning and eyes watering. No matter how hard she tried, she could never be anything but a monster. Lifting her face from her hands, not bothering to wipe the burning tears trailing down her face. As far as she was concerned, they didn't exist. Her eyes flashing, Aaelith stormed to the center of her room, furiously wiping at the remnants of tears. Why she was crying, she had no idea. Maybe the separation from her demon form was finally starting to break her down, piece by piece. Turning her into a puzzle never to be solved.

As she dropped to the middle of her room, candle-light illuminating her golden skin, Aaelith lowered herself down to the floor once again. This time, she clutched at her chest, nails tearing at the sensitive flesh that lay just above her collarbone. Letting out a scream, Aaelith dug deeper. As if she could tear the beast out of her. The fresh scent of metal wafted up to her nose, working it's way down her throat, and embedding itself deep into her lungs. Gritting her teeth, grinding the molars together, Aaelith swallowed the wave of pain that assaulted her.

Pain. It was the only way to keep herself at bay. The only thing to remind her that she was mortal. Pain was her comfort. She could feel it now, her relief flowing out of her veins and down her skin, falling on the hardwood and burning against the floor. Detaching her claws from her lacerated skin, Aaelith leaned towards the ground, placing her forehead against the floor. The beast was at bay for now. A faint tug within her chest told her it wasn't over. It never was. In life, you destroy all that tries to destroy you. That's how you keep living. The only problem was.... What if the thing that tried to destroy you, was yourself?

Elizabeth blinked when she heard another voice. It sounded young. Young, but didn't quite grate on her ears. Still, she made a face when Ralph showed up. Great, the Mayor is hiring adolescents. At least Dixie had the sense to call Ralph on his vainness. Elizabeth managed to put on a ghost of a smile and shook her head. "No, I'm not," she replied, waving her hand dismissively, "I just wanted to make a point of the fact that..."

Her sentence and her gaze trailed off for a moment as she thought over her words. After a quick revision of her approach, she turned back up to Dixie and continued. "...the fact that we aren't all experienced heroes. I figured they'd take actual heroes if they wanted dependable results immediately."

She pressed her lips together for a moment, turned to Ralph and shrugged at him. "And I'm sorry but I don't consider any young teen a professional hero." She didn't really think anyone truly does. Public idol, sure. Go-to-guy for a crisis? No.

Dixie felt a bit better when Elizabeth said she was new too, and that they weren’t all experienced. Good! That meant Dixie wasn’t alone in not exactly being an established hero. Perhaps she would fit in better than she could have ever hoped. She smiled softly but then glanced at Ralph when the girl said he wasn’t a professional hero. Dixie said nothing, not knowing anything about the boy to really make a judgment call. But it did seem like a practical sentiment. Surely a professional hero was more established. More well known. More experiences under their belt. However, Dixie hated confrontation and she didn’t want anyone to feel bad or not get along, so she quickly smiled at both the girl and Ralph and decided to properly introduce herself.

”Ma name is Dixie, by the way,” she said, leaning forward a tad when she said it. Had she been born decades ago one could have expected a curtsey to follow. But, she wasn’t that old fashioned at least. ”I cain’t do nothin’ fancy… like make a crown ‘bove ma head,” she said, looking at Ralph’s rather silly cartoon jewelry and smiling. ”I can…” she hesitated. Where she was from, Farrah had told her never to reveal her power. That people would hate her for it. Yet she encouraged her to come here and said people would appreciate it. And if they would appreciate it, it was safe to share right? After all, if they fought alongside each other, it was only a matter of time til they noticed what she could do. No use being shy about it. ”I can turn into a wolf,” she said with a deep breath prior. Pausing, she looked briefly serious and not shy as her ears grew into perky wolf ones, and a bushy tail extended down below the back of her dress. She then transformed her hands into fuzzy front paws with sharp claws, holding them out palm up. Her eyes looked unsure at the two, waiting for them to tell her she was a monster or accept her.

Cassie smiles and throws her traveling bag over her shoulder then says to Suzy
I will follow where ever you lead my Hero

Cassie is so happy that the first of her heros is such an innocent soul who seems untouched by the darker knowledge of society.
She thinks of how wonderful it would be to lack the sense of evil which even here Cassie can sense. Once long ago Cassie was very much like Suzy and happiness ruled her life then came her first Blood Moon and his whispers.

Cassie was haunted by a promise she'd never made to a prince of hell. He often spoke to her in her dreams offering her the power undreamed of, to make her his chosen consort. No the promise had been made by she who'd sought to sacrifice Cassie as a babe so that she might gain all those things as he promised. Her plan had failed and even her attempt to link her life to Cassies lifeforce had been crushed. There was but one flaw in this all., her soul had left a shardd of it's self lodged in Cassie thereby forming a link that the Prince exploited.

Shaking off her dark thought Cassie hears Flicly rattling off a strem of concerned questions

"I am aright silly bird just momentarily distracted by my joy says Cassie to the Ebony pest who keeps nagging

"How would you know or even care Flicly and besides which you are the familiar and I the Sorceress

Adjusting his scope, Sky zoomed in on his targets appearing in the distant windows. They were all thieves trying to steal whatever they could get their hands on. Further down, on the ground, there were muggers attempting to make a living grabbing purses and cornering people in alleyways. “Like sitting ducks.” Skyler grinned and released several shots into the windows spread out windows before moving down to the streets and prevented a murderer from reaching his quota in an alley. The process continued for a while but it was clear why Skyler was nicknamed ‘Sniper’. He found his targets fast and efficiently and this was his major strength, displaying patience and accuracy. He reloaded his rifle, returning to the scope to see more crime unfolding. That was the beauty of a metropolitan, it never ended. There was always work to do. As long as people wanted to do bad, he was there to do good and it never ended.

After the targets were put down, the simulation soon followed and Sky found himself sitting on the floor. “Well, that was fun.” He stretched and fell down to his back, seeing the observation room further up towards the ceiling. People had been watching him? Well, hopefully they liked the show. “Hello.” Skyler offered a light wave as he laid on the floor.

Mack felt a few holes in his data streams, but simply nodded in reply to Sam. When her door opened, he quickly tried to take a glance inside, however it was too late. All he got when he reviewed the split-second recording was Sam's leg blocking the majority of the frame, as well as blackness. What was in that blackness was indeterminable. He turns, and walks down the corridor, scanning through lots of data in the ten seconds it takes for him to reach his room. He was trying to get himself into a known network that was being used illegally, trying to put his hacking skills to the test.

When Bladewolf arrives at his door, he says the password for his door. "Emotional Realism." The door slides open, and he steps in quickly, the door closing behind him. Immediately after entering the room, he receives a very heavily encrypted piece of data. Upon decrypting the file, he finds the file is a message, with the first line being; 'Missions for the board'. The sender was anonymous, however Mack already knew who it was. He quickly transmitted the file from himself into a printer in his room, and watched as the machine slowly sucked in paper from the top, and released it with ink upon it's surface from the bottom. Once it was done, he grabbed the paper with his tail, and left his room, walking down the hallway and back to the door of Sam's room. Mack slid the paper under the door, then began to walk around the corridors of the mansion, struggling to find something worthwhile to do.

After having a good rest, dreaming of cupcakes, flowers, money, boys, girls, other intimate things, Beauty was well rested. Her pink canopy Queen size bed was great, but it wasn't like her pink canopy California King Size Platform Bed at home, that was a bed. Putting on her
and tying up her loose hair, Beauty walked out of the room. Closing the door shut, and making sure it was shut. She didn't have time for anyone especially that boy Ralph to sneak into her room, and steal something or worse. While Beauty was walking down the hall she saw Dixie and Ralph talking to some ghoul? Oh wait no it was a girl, in all black and pale. Was her power the ability to become a ghost or something? Seeing the chance to be the center of attention like always, Beauty went over to introduce herself to the girl, ghoul, thing. Shooting her arm out in between the little group, reaching it out to the new girl, "Hi, I'm Beauty Matthews you can call me Beauty or, The Prettiest Girl In The World." Beauty giggled, playing it off but she really meant that. 'What's your name, and what can you..." Beauty stopped talking once she saw that Dixie had...paws, a tail, and wolf ears? That was her power turning into a semi wolf? "Dixie that's fucking adorable, what can you do as a half wolf?"
