I have a few questions: First of all, I assume that in this setting werewolves turn into actual wolves, like in The Wolf's Hour, and not into humanoid wolfmen. Is this assumption correct?

And second of all, how does werewolf reproduction (keep your minds out of the gutter) work in this setting. Do werewolves breed or is the "curse" spread through bites? Or is it both?

I answered your first question in the intro to this thread, but I'll say it again. They turn into real wolves.

Sure, just make sure you include a history so we all know when and where we found your character. Anything that is common knowledge for us about your character should be in it

History: Erica hasn't spoken much about her past before joining the pack, so her history is mostly clouded. She was first introduced to the pack when she and her father were attacked, savagely, by two wolves while returning home for a movie. She watched in horror as one wolf tore out her father's throat and the other turned on her. It was pure luck that she was bitten on the shoulder by the wolf that attacked her, as he was surely aiming for her throat. As the wolf released her to try again she struck it and ran, propelled by fear and pain. A few minutes later she returned to the scene of the attack to find her father dead and half eaten and the wolves nowhere to be found. Weak from loss of blood and in shock from the violent attack she collapsed into unconsciousness. When she woke up, her wound had been treated and she was in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. They told her many fantastical things that couldn't possibly be true: That they were Werewolves, that she had been attacked by Werewolves, and that she couldn't go home because she was now one of them. She refused to believe it, right up until she saw them change right in front of her. Erica refused to speak, isolating herself for almost a month after that, until she finally began to come to terms with what had happened. And then the pack's home was burned and she was forced to flee with them. She hasn't returned to school since the night she was attacked.

Personality: Erica can be sullen at times, having so much misfortune fall on her over such a short period of time. However she seems to be committed to making the most of everything and is trying to assimilate into pack life.

Goal in Life: To simply make the most of her new life.

Other: Erica has a savage bite scar on her right shoulder, just below her neck. She has yet to undergo her first change.

She only knows what they told her: That she was attacked, they recovered her and treated her and that she is now one of them.

I assume the first change is not a particularly pleasant experience. It never seems to be so in all the werewolf books I've read.

Yes. I imagine its bad enough for the ones who spend their whole life knowing and preparing. Someone who has it forced on them would probably be twice as scared and therefore in a lot more pain.

The guy girl ratio is pretty off balance lol ... not that I'm comolaining :-P

A 2:3 ratio isn't that bad. Certainly isn't balanced, but I've seen worse.
