[OOC] Werewolves in the City

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTING CHARACTERS!

It was three months ago that two of your fellow pack members were caught murdering humans for fun. At first, it was believed that an animal was committing these crimes. Then, a rumor began to circulate around the small town. A rumor of a wolf who had changed into a man. Most laughed this off as a silly story, one that couldn't possibly be true.

However, there were some that did not.

These people burnt your home to the ground, along with some of your pack members. They gave no mercy, and your home was gone in a puff of smoke. The two who had started this were put to death, but this did not give your pack somewhere to go.

You have now left your home in the mountains and moved to the city until a new location can be decided upon. So far, it has been slow going, and no one is happy about this arrangement.

Something is coming, something worse than what has already befallen the pack the healer, Kiara, continues to warn. What will you do when it comes?

Okay, so. That's a brief intro into this roleplay. You will be a member of a pack of werewolves who have lost their home and are now making due in the city. I will not be naming a specific one because it honestly doesn't matter, and I don't want any specific landmarks in this RP. If you'd like, we can decide on a name for it together. This will be very player driven. There will be an overarching plot which will be introduced slowly throughout the story. The players have the option to follow after this right away, or save it until another part of this plot is introduced.

This will be a modern day, modern world RP. So yes, there are cell phones, cars, and computers.

There may be some mature themes, such as violence or romance and extreme loss. However, though gore doesn't bother me, keep in mind that it might offend some of your fellow roleplayers. Also, obviously, keep smut out of this roleplay.

Werewolf Facts

- They shift into real wolves, though slightly bigger. This would not be noticeable to a normal human.
- On a full moon, a shift is involuntary, and will happen no matter how much you try not to.
- Stronger and faster than humans without trying, but not enough that it is extremely noticeable.
- Silver is poison to them when in the bloodstream, but not when touching the skin.
- They heal about 5x faster than humans, but the more wounds there are, the longer it will take.
- When shifting, clothes tend to tear, so you'll want to remove them first.
- (May never come up) Mates will mark each other with a bite to the skin. Werewolves mate for life.
- Anyone can challenge for Alpha in a fight, but the most likely competitor is the Beta. It is almost always a fight to the death.

Pack Information

This is everything the pack should know. Those excluded will be listed in each fact.

- Kiara lost her mother (Josie) and her younger sister (Becca) in the fire.
- Erica was bit by the two renegades. <- Erica does not know this.
- The two renegades were Jason and David. They were put to death for their crimes.
- Kiara can feel when one of the pack is hurt, and the Alpha can feel when someone leaves or joins the pack. This would include death.
- It is against pack law to tell a human what they are.
- Any child born of a werewolf, even if with a human, is always a werewolf. They will have the same abilities as any other.

Job: Dancer - currently performing on the streets, but looking for a real job

Kiara stands at 5'5'' and has a slender build, as expected.

Wolf:


History: Kiara was trained to be pack healer all of her life by her mother. However, she had not expected to take over so soon. When her mother and younger sister died in the fire, Kiara was forced to look after all of the wounded on her own with the incomplete training she had received. Since moving to the city, she has been having nightmares. Some of these tell of things to come, and some show her what has already happened. One thing is clear though, there is something evil out there.

Not many know that Kiara found her mother before her home burned to the ground, and that stricken with grief she had just laid there about to let the fire take her. They do know, however, that someone pulled her from the burning building even if the reason remains a secret. As a spiritual leader, it can not be known that she almost gave up.

Personality: Kiara is not soft-spoken, but not loud either. Her presence commands respect from most people, as without her, they would not be able to survive. However, she never expects this from anyone and is always looking out for the pack. She is kind and willing to help anyone in need, even if they might not exactly be friendly. The one thing she loves more than her pack, though, is dancing. Kiara feels as if she can express herself through it more easily than through her words. Because of this, and the way she was raised, Kiara tends to be what you would call "spiritual," especially because she is one of the very few in the pack who are in touch with what some call magic.

Goal in Life: To keep the pack out of harms way, at all costs.

Other: Her left thigh has a large burn scar from the fire which can also be seen in her wolf form, she has become increasingly self conscious about this.

ADDED: WARNING YOUR CHARACTERS WILL GET ATTACKED IN THIS RP. That being said I will never kill them or seriously harm them. At least not to the point of not recovering. I will always warn you first, and discuss the extent of the attack with you before I do this, but it is part of the plot. They will be ambushed, which is why I will discuss it with you first and possibly collaborate a post with you. But in some cases there will be nothing your character can do but take it.

Job: Works for a small security company in town called "White Wolf Security". He found the name amusing so he applied.

Standing about 5' 11" 198lbs



History: Originally from the Pack that started murdering humans for fun. Rumors floated around that Roman knew all along what the others were doing but said nothing. Some believe it to be true while others looked up to him and denied these blatant lies. If this is true or not is unclear and He did not deny nor encourage this rumor. After the "Uproot" Roman was one of the few to look after the younger ones during the fire and still dreams some nights the color of the flames dancing before him. Waking up with nightsweats and skin extremely hot as if he was physically there.

Personality: Cool tempered, level headed individual. Fairly smart with an undeniable stubborn side. People often go to him for advice or simply to vent. He always seems to have a calming aura about him. His serious side is not one to mess with and cherishes loyalty above all else. When another of his kin is in a life or death situation he will always stop what he was doing to help no matter whose fault it was in the first place. Roman has a minor disdain for humans and never trusted them to begin with, but to outwright kill a human out of hatred is something he would never do. But to defend his kin on the other hand...

Goal in Life: He is still undecided yet. Stuck between challenging for being Alpha or furthering his "normal" life.

Other: His eyes are a cool blue that even seem to glow bright in the darkest places. The Anarchy tattoo on his arm was a coverup of an ex-girlfriends name. She turned out to be a bitch ;)

history: Born a member of the pack he has prove himself many times over. Even though he grew up under the alpha's tutelage he learned teakwood from a human master. After the rumors started his Korean master paid no notice and allowed him to keep his job. Barely escaping the fire, he was shot while running away. Now that he is healed he is trying to find a way to rebuild the pack.

personality: Somewhat hot tempered, but he is also very rational. He is usually very friendly and calm when talking to members of the pack, but when someone messes up its his job as beta to correct them. Often he does not resort to violence, with a size like his you usually don't have to, but occasionally there is no choice. He loves the other members like family and will fight to his last breath to protect them.

Goal in life: become the Alpha

other: He has a scar on his chest from when he was shot by a human.

Job: Gymnastics Teacher

Appearance

Rose is 5'3" in height and has a fit, curvy figure. A tad bit more built from the extensive years of gymnastics. She also wears glasses to read but rarely wears them in front of the others.

Human Form

In her wolf form, Rose is an excellent tracker and has a great sense of direction. As a wolf, her hearing and olfactory senses are impeccable, overcompensating for her sight which could be better. She is agile and has quick reactions. Her pale eyes almost remain they same color in either form.

Wolf Form

History: TBA. It makes for a better character development.

Personality: Rose is a proud person. She keeps her word no matter what the situation is and will do what she can for survival. She completely adores children and working with them but not the same thing can be said for adults. She can be very skeptical at times but she won't be too rude. Her personality is lovable, but her attitude completely depends on the person she's dealing with.

Goal in Life: She wants to enjoy life to its fullest without getting in too much trouble. For now, she settles for fitting in with the pack and making sure that they stay unharmed and don't harm others in the process.

Other: No scars, but has her share of tattoos which include a mermaid tattoo on her left forearm and a Japanese Koi fish on her right forearm.

Name: Callie "Cal" Evans
Age: In human years, seventeen.
Position: Member, pretty much the little sister to the rest of the pack.

Job: Cal was a high school student, until she was expelled for fighting with another student. During this fight Cal almost shifted forms, she finds this really embarrassing and thinks she let down the other members of the pack due to her fiery nature.

Appearance:

Short brown hair (Although she often wears beanies), freckles and green eyes. She is rather lanky and on the taller side at 5'6.

Wolf Picture

History: I want to save most of this for the IC, but at this point the rest of the pack knows a bit about her backstory. They ended up finding her several years ago in the woods, dangerously enraged and hungry. Being part of a pack dynamic has helped her tame her violent tendencies. It is also known that watching the house burn down was extremely traumatic for Cal.

Personality: She is rather impulsive, jumping to conclusions or being the first one to run down a dangerous path. This is likely due to her high energy, which always seems to be unending. Her rather fun-loving nature shows in her constant smiling and playing around. She is extremely loyal to whoever leads her, often carrying out tasks without second thought. And while all of this is rather fine, she can get extremely violent and rebellious when times call for it. Her boyish tendencies also often get her in trouble.

Goal in Life: Cal really wants to graduate college.
Other: Cal doesn't like full moons and being forced to change forms, she often panics before full moons. She also has many scars from her time without a pack, many of which leave her without patches of hair when she is a wolf.
