Sorry for my absence, guys. Got a nasty throat infection two weeks into basic training because my platoon's water dispenser had been infested with algae growth. We didn't even know until we tore the damn thing apart and found the filters clogged up with algae. Typing my post up right now.

Kind of would've appreciated having the idea of the UCAV' s being trainers run past me, as they were supposed to be a surprise, and a new type of aircraft. But since everyone has gone with it now, I'll have to save that for another time.

Going to point out that I do say in the rules that if it isn't run past me first then it doesn't exist and I can choose to ignore it - but I'll let it go this time.

Hey, everyone - sorry for the delays in posting. I'll get another post up tomorrow or Friday to keep things moving along with the plot. I'll have to have a re-read and think on where to go, as I've been thrown off a bit with people coming and going, especially in the middle of a mission. I also need to refresh myself of the long-term plot and alter it a bit with ideas I've had in the meantime.
Rest assured I will keep things moving though, and get us back on course, and hopefully you will all enjoy it a lot.

My next post may be a while in coming, as I've damaged a tendon in my right hand. I am left-handed, which makes it a bit easier, but it's still painful, and I was advised to rest it as much as possible. So, I'll try and get something up, but I don't want to push it and end up making my hand worse.

Got a post up just in time. This coming week is easily the busiest of the semester for me and is going to be a long haul, so I won't be on much. Hopefully my post sufficed!

Oddly, my left hand has been badly aching these past couple days. YOU GAVE IT TO ME. D:

On a different note, I'm sorta bored with AC: Infinity. There's just not enough variety, and it would take 8,000 years to get any equipment better than what I currently have. I love the gameplay, but after playing the same few missions over and over and over it's gotten a little stale.

I GAEV U A COMPUTAH VIRUS! (from a physical injury, I know, sssshhhh ¬.¬)

And I totally hear you about Infinity as well. I really enjoyed the campaign, but according to various sources (including Kazuhisa Kondo's Twitter, apparently) Mission 8 is the last campaign mission, which is an amazingly shitty place to leave it with NO RESOLUTION OF ANY PLOT THREADS.
The multiplayer is just exceedingly repetitive, I agree. You have to have a high tolerance for playing the same maps and missions over and over to get anywhere, and even then - all you get is a better plane to do the same thing with.
It's more rewarding to go back and play the older games - I can play with the planes I want, on more interesting maps and with a storyline. And no kill-thieving dicks :P

No worries, I know how it can be. Hope you get on top of whatever's come up, and you can get back to us at some point in the future.

Given that everyone else who 'joined' when I posted we needed more players never posted either, we're down to five-ish people again, and that's only if we still have Nautilus.

I might just leave it at the five/four of us, and carry on, since we seem to have a solid core. And hey, there were four Razgriz planes in AC5, and that worked out well...
