The sun rises over the gleaming steel roof of the school main hall, while the ring of a century-old bell echoes loudly over the crowded school grounds. The PA system crackled as a voice announce that all students were to head to the gym. The Supreme Being watched out the window as student entered the building. It would be hard to teach these students. But the treaty forcing their parents to be not fight when on school grounds should help encourage the students make their own allies and revelries.

Katherin wasn't sure about this God and Goddess school. She hadn't interacted with any of the other godling children. Her parents hadn't wanted the others to see her defect. With the treaty all young god and goddesses were expected to come to school learn how to be supreme beings. She could no longer hide. With her cane in her hand she made her way to the gym. She took her time. She had to carefully count the steps so that she didn't get lost.

Twirling his red and white striped candy cane, Meliton absently raised it to his lips and took a lick. "Mmmm...peppermint!" Saying this rather cheerily, it was only then that he noticed another student with a cane...a cane of a more practical use. Vanishing the big stick of candy, the young god nodded at cane-girl a little apologetically before hurrying on to his first class, first class being gym with the rest of the first years.

Stepping into the gymnasium, quickly getting over to where a few others had congregated, it didn't seem like the teacher had come in yet. "Hmmm...maybe the teacher has time, and didn't sleep in and consequently miss breakfast, huh?" Another student grinned at what Meliton said, but the sweetness god didn't look to happy about waiting. With a flourish, he summoned a plate with a delicious looking tiramisu cake, his other hand summoning a fork. Taking a piece off of the cake with his fork, he stuck the small portion into his mouth, smiling widely and quite obviously enjoying the taste.

In a darker corner of the gym, a swirling portal made of what seemed to be ripping, pure-black energy formed, around human-shape in size. Around the portal, one could feel the air get very, very cold...as if you were suddenly enveloped inside of a glacier, with the figure of death staring at you. That metaphor isn't too far off, however. A tall, lean figure in a rippling, midnight-black coat stepped out of the portal, streams of corrupted black energy wisping off of his shoulders and drifting out towards the ceiling. The figure's skin was both pale and flawless, showcasing long, feathery black hair that drifted backwards in silky spikes, a youthful, yet mature face, and the oddest, yet the most enticing crimson and onyx eyes in this dimension and the next. The figure stood straight and proud, snapping his right index finger and thumb, and the shadowy portal promptly disappeared in a snap.

Only a few had noticed him arriving, thankfully - just how he liked it. No unwanted attention, no problem. However, the figures that did notice him were all promptly intimidated and awed by the young God, forcing him to mark his face with a frown as he pushed past a stumbling idiot and stepped up into the dwindling crowd of first-year students. A few caught his eye, but one in particular seemed quite interesting, in fact. He was eating a plate of...cake? Candy..something. Azeroth wasn't used to sweets, or anything of that variety, so he wouldn't know. Appearing curious - as evident by his sharp right eyebrow arching slightly, the young man stepped up to the shorter candy boy and tapped him on the shoulder with a porcelain finger.

"What...is that concoction called?" His cold, apathetic tone was piqued slightly in curiosity.

Katherin carefully made her way into the gym. She winced at how noisy the room was. She knew she would have to get use to it. She was use to quiet and alone. Being surrounded in a noisy place was going to be uncomfortable until she adapted. She made her way along the edges of the room trying not to bump into other students as she looked for a place to stand. She didn't want to be too far back but she couldn't risk trying for the middle of the room. So she followed the wall to the front of the group.

Surprised by the sudden appearance of the fellow student before him, mainly the portal opening and the pale teen step out, Meliton was surprisingly composed. The only thing preventing him from shrinking back hesitantly was the fact that it was both bad form, as seen by other students reacting in shock...and the fact that such movements would likely shift his cake around. That simply wouldn't do.

Taking note of cane-girl entering into the gymnasium, he stared up at into the taller teen's dark black and red eyes, nodding slowly...sheepishly, "This? This is the ambrosia of this god, a treat of less sweetness but no lesser quality...handmade, stored, and summoned with care for the peak moments when such a delight would be needed. This is, just one of many; a delicious cake! A delicious tiramisu cake." Saying all this, the sweetness god paused for a moment in consideration, before offering it forth in one hand with a smile...conjuring and offering up a recipe card with another.

James lowered the hood of his jacket as he walked into the gymnasium, looking around with curiosity and a certain wariness, but not without a little hope. Things would be different, here. Despite having long accepted that the life of a God on Earth was doomed to be solitary, and that his nature would always make him an outsider among humans, for once he found himself in a setting where the unusual - the divine - was the norm. As he looked around the room, he saw one boy, (or so he assumed from his form, at least) conjure a cake out of thin air and begin to eat with enthusiasm. Off to the side, he noticed somebody else step from some sort of dark hole in the air, closing it behind him with a fairly overly-dramatic snap of the fingers before walking off to talk to the cake boy. "Show off," thought James idly, but his attention was soon directed elsewhere in the room. All around him were more examples of the strange and fantastic - the young gods in training keen to make a powerful first impression - and for once, he wasn't attracting the most attention. He decided he'd be just fine if things were to stay that way.

Walking forward, he went to stand with the main group of people in the middle of the gym, a short distance behind where shadow-kid was now conversing with cake-boy. For want of anything else to do, he began to listen to their conversation.

"Welcome to the school everyone." the Supreme Being said from the front of the room. "We will be teaching you how to take you to become powerful beings. Some day you will become Gods and Goddess. In order for that to happen you will attend classes to learn how to take your place among the rest. Our schedule will start with breakfast at 7. Then we will have Gym. Then you will have God Skills followed by Lunch. In the afternoons you will have Power Development and Self-Defense. The day will end with Supper. After that you will be free until 11. Everyone is to be in the dorm room by 11."

It started slowly, Lights flickered, the mic cut out and then back in, small hiccups in the system, then each light blinked out individually, as if all the electricity in the school was draining away, Phones, PDA's and ipads ect died, powerless, signal-less and without a reason, Then suddenly the speakers crackled out a harsh white noise, static snapping through the air, the air was charged with electricity, one could taste it, the ozone was sharp on the tongue, then one single light flashed on, glowing so bright it blew out, and in that instant the energy in the room grounded itself, all in to one point, as if returning to a point of origin, Lights returned, Handheld devices flickered back on. the speakers stopped spewing white noise. it was as if nothing had happened, Except the blown light bulb, Under Which stood a young god, brushing some glass shards of his shoulders. "Sorry I'm late, This place is a bugger to find." He said, smiling. "Do continue."

"Alright boys and girls. Gather round. We're going to use this gym glass to get to know one another. Let's make a circle." Apollo said as he enter the gym."Gods and Goddesses have to work together sometimes." Apollo answered. "Many if you will be allies. Some of you rivials. But no matter how you feel about each other you need to be able to work together. None of us desire for the universe to end simply because you don't want to socialize. Now sit down and shut up until it's your turn."

Meliton was just about to hand the piece of almost whole cake to the dark godling before him, when the--SUPREME BEING APPEARED BEFORE THEM?! A few of their numbers bowed down in reverence, but more often than not, they were frozen in place in shock much like the sweet godling himself. There were experienced gods, gods in training, humans...and then there was the Supreme Being. From start to finish, Meliton was frozen in place listing carefully to any and all that was said, the trance-like state broken only one the Supreme Being had left the room.

Making the cake, plate, fork and all disappear with a clean pop, Meliton turned and faced another god with a look that wasn't sure whether it was excited or panicking, "W-Was that...who I thought it was? Am I dreaming?! I was only born two years ago, I don't believe who I just saw...!" His voice, volume trailed off towards the end as he rubbed his chin nervously, looking vacantly into space, not even noticing or hearing what his first teacher had to say.

The Supreme Being tapped Adam on the shoulder. "Son we have told about causing such a disruption in a place like this. While very impressive, it is not only a waste of power but disrespectful to the others. Not to mention that you could damage people's electronics that way. You are a new god so you have more to learn then some of the others. Pay close attention to your classes."

Adam paused and turned round. "And who are you?" He asked, genuinely curious and unknowing. He'd spent much of his time on earth, guiding the technology down there and enjoying himself. "eh, I won't damage technology unless its pointed at me. It'd be a waste. and anyway, if anyone's did go kaput, I'd fix it no problem" He said with a grin and tapped his headphones. "power isn't an issue either, so long as information and technology flows, I will always have power." he looked very light hearted and didn't quite understand the gravitas of the situation.

"I am the Supreme Being. I am the principal of this school." The Supreme Being. "Just because you haven't damaged technology before doesn't mean that it can't happen. We have technology that even you have never seen before. There is also no guarantee that you can repair all technology. Some is older then you are my boy. You must always be aware of what your power can do. Never take your power for granted. Just because human worship you today does not mean that they will do so tomorrow."

"Ah. I guess that makes sense however My power is not over tech, but as technology." He said grinning. "A god out of the machine. So long as one creature, god, human, or otherwise Uses technology I will have those who follow me." He smiled and nodded seemingly self satisfied "Technology and Technomancy however, are different, I have no power over Technomancy, Such as Alchemy or magically powered automatons. However, so long as it does not rely on arcane arts and is mechanical...." He winked and opened his hand a small mechanical butterfly folding in to existence "I can do as I please with it." He bowed and turned back to class. "This was a awesome chat, we should do it again at some point!" he said cheerily and settled down back in the circle, the mechanical butterfly flitting round the circle, pausing every so often to devour a insect, feeding it in to its internal bio-generator.

Walking from the hall into the gym, Kael jostled with his hoodie, trying to get it on correctly. It sure was different from where he once lived, but his father sent him here to learn something. Taking a small breath and breathing into his hands, fire poured out, warming him up. It was slightly cold where the school was, but he should be fine.

He opened up the door to the gym and walked in. It seemed that the Supreme Being was being himself again, trying to lecture somebody about their powers. Kael began to rub at his right eye, as he yawned a bit.

"What did I miss?" With a flip of his hand, a small fireball formed in his hand and he began to bounce it up and down. Only those who could stand the fire could find a bit of his favor, but they had be careful. Kael was known to get bored at times and do ...certain acts to alleviate that boredom.

If anyone had bothered to look out a window it would have likely been very hard to miss the giant Chinese dragon. It was a bright yellow-silver color and very long, it had no wings and snaked through the sky with a kind of grace. Now what people probably missed if they looked was the girl on its back. It brought itself close to the school and allowed the girl to get off. The girl was Mei and the dragon was Zhulong, her father. Zhulong joined his daughter in human form, he was a bit overprotective so it was no surprise that he had traveled all the way from the spirit gates. He smiled down a Mei, "Your lack of presence in the spirit realm will upset not only me, I implore that you visit when you can." Mei smiled back and nodded, "I shall miss you as well father." Zhulong seemed pleased, "Remember who you are Shia-Mei, if any dark forces have infected this school, squash them." His look turned more serious and he earned a sigh from Mei, "Yes father." Her father seemed to forget that her mother's blood ran through her veins as well, she had enough of her mother's abilities to understand the logic of balance. Mei's father was different, his only purpose was to defeat any and all darkness, not to respect balance. They said their good byes and Mei entered the school.

Mei found her way to the gym and slipped inside. She did an odd sort of bow to the Supreme being, "Please forgive my tardiness, I mean no disrespect and I am honored to be at your school." Mei smiled and joined the others in the circle, as she sat down she looked at the others, Mei was a bit out numbered by those of dark origins but that only would make things fun, after all, one doesn't learn when things are easy.

Adam nodded to the Newcomer who sat next to him, he'd been on the edge, latest to join. giving her a warm smile he held out a hand. "Adam, Deus Ex Machina." he introduced himself and nodded "I'm not sure what exactly is meant to be going on, I kinda missed the start of the lesson" He inclined his head towards the butterfly that was still gliding round, causing it to flutter over and touch down on his shoulder. "And who might you be, I guess from the dragon you are of the eastern pantheons?"

Mei smiled back but the hand he held out was a bit odd to her, she panicked, trying to remember what she had been taught about the physical realm. After a moment she hesitantly shook his hand, she briefly searched his face for approval but gave up and decided to introduce herself, "Honored to meet you, I am called Shia-Mei but it is simpler to call be Mei, or so I've been told. Your guess is correct, my original place was with what I believe are called the Chinese but the Japanese adopted a version of my father and I. I apologize for the lack of experience I have in earth customs, I have not spent much time in this realm." Mei examined the butterfly on his finger, "It has no spirit, why is that?"
