Jameson~~

James had been following behind the group, and was the last to be let into the city by the guards. Just as they were doing this however, was when Eliphas charged. Jameson focused his glare and awaited the creature's strike.Eliphas drew closer as Jameson's companions attempted to barrage the demon with magic and other projectiles. Eliphas's charge was too fast though and he was infront of Jameson before the spells reached him.He focused the blood, and used a technique lost to the newer generations of wolf. A part way take over.

His eyes grew an eerie yellow and orange and his strength and speed spiked significantly. Jameson side stepped Eliphas's blow with inhuman speed and launched himself upwards with all of his might. Jameson flew, landing atop the elven city wall, Jameson retracted from his transformation, turning full human once again. He now stood beside a rather confused elf and a rather complex looking balista. Jameson studied it for a moment, and then began prepping the weapon. He fired it at the demon Eliphas, the projectile flew towards him, just behind the rest of his allie's barrages.

Barghest~~

The wolf appeared before his master. He studied him for a moment. "How fair's thee..?" He growled in a low and menacing voice. "I hear you have... A mission.." (sorry for this short one, I will add detail tommorow)

Xukhezur and Lu'Vayla were still within sight of the gate when they overheard the cries of alarm and aggression, and quickly sprinted over to investigate. The moment they noticed the appearance of Eliphas, the former recognized it as a balor from his third optic orb's continuing surveillance of Lithium and cried "Balor!" as the latter immediately cast a quickened instance of her discipline's primary spell upon herself, Xukehzur and anyone nearby, such that the recipients of her spell all stood within about ten yards of one another. Those affected found their rate of thought and action accelerated relative to the flow of the timestream, as everything around them appeared to slow down a little bit. Lu'Vayla the Velocimaster, true to her methods and moniker, found herself accelerated far more than the others she had affected. As she advanced fiercely upon the illusion of Eliphas, her image was a little distorted by her rate of speed, making her appear rather compressed and flattened in the front and stretched out behind in her wake. She immediately made the short sword she withdrew, transform itself into a bastard sword that she then held in both hands. As she closed in, she attempted to step within range of the large menacing demon in order to cast a spell of banishment upon it, not yet aware of its illusory nature.

Xukhezur's shadowy draconic gloom effigy, in response to its creator's reflexive telepathic commands, had already launched itself out of his pocket and shed the polymorphic effect that had given it the form of an optic orb. Now in its true form, it unfurled and spread both pairs of wings as it took a position behind him. The frontal portions of the mecha peeled back and parted open, permitting the craft to fit over and engulf the mechamancer's body. Once he fully occupied the construct, Xukhezur piloted it to an overhead position within forty yards of the balor while still hastened by his female cohort's timely spell. He wished to examine the large fiend with his magesight goggles before deciding how best to engage it. Investing temporary charges into the staff he kept stored in the extradimensional space of his casting glove, was a taxing affair to say the least, and he wanted to measure the need for that kind of response accordingly, given that the balor was the only threat he could perceive at the moment. As he did so, he hoped the elves would concentrate on the much larger balor before turning their wrath upon him due to his effigy's fearsome appearance, and bade his first and second optic orbs currently assigned to monitor the elven city, to telepathically communicate with excitement to every elf and refugee within their range as they rapidly approached: Look! Look! The large fiery balor is about to be attacked by that smaller black creature with the four wings.

The projectile fired from the ballista and the pedals hit home shredding off a limp ,and the spear impaling its gut caused Eliphas's illusion to drop to on one knee holding the shaft of the spear. It looked up at the lot and laughed. "You have not seen the last of me. Not while that tomb sits in the valkyrie's lap." He moved to fingers to his eyes and then turned them around. "I will be watching you."

The illusion suddenly faded in the wind to nothing. Back at his sanctum his eyes opened and he laughed. "That should stir up some emotions." He then noticed Barghest was there and nodded. "Yes I have a regular task for you and your pack. You will pick out the humans unfit for service and then you and your pack can devour them." He said. He then remembered Jameson and grinned. "Do you know a man named Jameson? He smelt like one of your kin."
Cassandra was a little satisfied with the illusions disappearance. It was a advanced spell none the less that made the illusion able to interact physically with its surroundings. Then she noticed the two who were at the gate looking a bit different. Looks like they got some explaining to do. She then looked to Hotaru and nodded. "Thanks for the help,..." She said. This was the first time she saw her power and it was rather encouragable. She fitted another bolt in the crossbow.
Ishmael heard the noises outside from the room and rushed out to see what was going on. He noticed it had already been handled. He moved out to see if he could still help and saw that Nova was being guided towards the building he was just in holding a tomb. He looked to Ruhdivar and Kyoto raising a brow. "What's with the tomb?"

Nova let her friends guide her and as she saw Ishmael and the look on his face. "I will explain everything later." She said as she moved past him. With her was Ruhdivar and she could feel that Kyoto was behind her. She felt great full that she had good people with her. She hoped they would be enough to keep her sane. She of course did not know what the tomb's title is. She then looked to Ishmael, "Tell Jameson if you see him that I want to speak with him. I want to know what I am up against." She said. She then proceeded into the building. She then moved to the room picked out for her. Some of her stuff from her own home was in it. She was helped to her bed and placed the tomb down on the nightstand.
Hotaru bowed in courtesy to Cassandra."Your welcome, miss Cassandra." She said and then saw her gaze aimed at Xuhkaxur and his partner. "They are odd aren't they? But you know in a world like this with Saints protecting demons. Your not really surprised with such sights." She said and then she looked to Cassandra. "They are on our side though so it shouldn't matter right?"

"For now they are,..." Spoke Ryung. He studied the two beings with his own two eyes. "With the time I have spent on this earth I have never seen such creatures." He said. He placed a hand on his daughter's shoulder and looked to Jameson and then back to Xuhkaxur. "I think it's best that we keep our eyes on them."

"So this is where we will be staying?" He asked Ruhdivar as he stepped inside. The place was huge and had enough rooms for all of them. "After what just happened here I think it's best that you keep a couple guards in here. Mostly at her door, seeing as it was the tomb it spoke of" he commented as he walked with them."Or I could act as a guard for awhile. I wouldn't keeping her company" he added. Nova was rather cute but then again most elves where. Even Cassandra was rather cute herself. He smiled at his luck. Here he was fighting against demons surrounded by wonderful women.

Valken could hear the shouts and the sounds of battle just up a head, yet still he did not hurry. 8 people against an illusion spell even as powerful as that is enough to bring it down. And so Valken crawled up a tree and took flight from it reaching the elvish city with in minutes and opening an orange portal in mid air, flying through it only to appear on top of one of the housed buildings. He needed only to listen and he would find his fish friends....supposedly.

Valken hopped from one building to the next until reaching the building where he heard familiar voices. Valken crawled on the wall of the building and towards the window, dragging it open with his long, sharp talons and scuttling inside. He still hung on the wall just above the window, promptly he closed it. He knew who was in the room particularly because he could smell Nova through the window. He kept crawling towards the ceiling and hung upside down, encasing himself in his wings and rubbing them against him as he was a little cold. Valken sent a few sound waves out to survey the room and get a sense where everything was and once he established that was when he decided to acknowledge Nova's existence.

Cassandra decided it best for to try and rest and made way for the building that was to be used for them and them only. As she moved she saw that the eyes had shifted from her to Xuhkazur and his partner. It did not take her long before she reached the building and saw Ishmael. He had a confused look on him and she decided to fill him in on what had happened so far. "Nova received a tome that a man had held in the Glade, apparently Eliphas seeks it as well. He came in a form of some illusion and spoke a few unsettling words about her." She explained. "It is best she rests for now, then again we can all use a good rest for awhile." She then moved past him and into the building and she saw how huge it was. It was big enough to fit all of them that was certain. She decided to pick a room and go to it not even noticing that Valken was located within Nova's own room. At this point she did not care either. Right now she wanted to rest and clear her mind of everything that had happened today. That way she could remain focused on other things.
Ishmael nodded and followed in behind he and moved to a chair in the main room and sat down upon it. He then laid his head back and stared at the ceiling. 'What am I doing here?' he asked himself. 'is this where the church intended me to go?' He decided to just close his eyes. The seat was rather comfortable, enough that he easily fell asleep in it despite his armor. This all felt too peaceful and for some reason he felt that the little appearance of Eliphas would be the last and that no attack would come upon the elves. It seemed they were too organized and their silver weapons gave them a deadly punch when it came to fighting demons.

Nova was looking at the tome when suddenly she heard the voice of Valken speak to her 'I think I need you to do me a favor..' was what he said and she looked to him quickly. His voice so soft it would seem and she smiled. "Valken?,... where were you? You vanished with out a single word." She asked full of concern and then shook her head. "Ignore that question, you had your reasons to which it's business is not mine, what favor do you want of me?" She asked as she rose a hand towards Ruhdivar and any other elves who took a different reaction to his sudden appearance. She then waved them off feeling that she was much safe in the demon's presence.
Queen Emeraude surveyed what had happened from a window located in the large tree in the center of the elven city. She felt it was now time to gather the group together and for them to be debriefed as to what was happening in the world. She looked to one of her servants. "I want you to deliver a message to our new arrivals and old. That I would like to have council with them. Also send someone to notify the Seer council down below." She ordered and the servant bowed and proceeded to leave. "Yes milady."
Hotaru was rather surprised when she saw a messenger approach her and her father. "Audience with the Queen has been asked of you, please proceed to the large tree you see in the center, that is her palace." He said and moved off to tell the others. She looked to Ryung and asked "Do you know anything about this father?'
"No Hotaru I do not, we will find out when we meet the Queen." He then began to walk towards that very tree in the center. Hotaru nodded and moved to stand beside her father and moved with him.

Kyoto heard the noise of two more joining them inside and looked to see that it was just Ishmael and Cassandra. Cassandra moved to her room to rest while Ishmael just fell asleep in a chair. He sighed and the shrugged. "Not a bad idea really my legs could use a rest." He said. He then proceeded into a room and placed down his katana and flopped onto the soft bead. What did they use? Feathers? or some fine silk cause what ever it was it was soft. He smiled as he tucked his hands underneath his head but soon heard the doors open and a messenger come in heading towards Ishmael. He looked up and rose a brow.

Jameson found his way off of the wall with an unexpected ease. For a while he simply lost himself among the crowds. His thoughts intermingled among each other for a while, not entirely thinking about any one thing at a time. Jameson smiled softly as he remembered the good old days. He suddenly felt overcome with the need to play a hand of cards. He wondered if Kyoto or Ishmael would be interested. He soon found himself outside of the inn the group was now staying in.

Jameson was about to enter when a messenger accidentally bumped into him and entered the building himself. Jameson became curious, he sensed Valken but was not sure where he was exactly. Jameson brushed off his trench coat and stepped in the building. Inside was the messenger, telling the party that the Queen had requested and audience with them. Jameson nodded his head. "I believe I'll be sitting this one out, I need too do some thinking..." His thoughts trailed off as he pondered what exactly he had meant by that. It was strange.. He felt.. Different..

He felt...

Jameson began to fall forward.

And then his vision went white...

The wolf nodded to his master as he left to meet the prisoners. His pack would be having a feast tonight.

Valken waited for the others to leave and he slowly made his way down the ceiling. His movements became slow and jagged, painful even. By the time he reached her he was hunched over like an old man and his fingers were shivering as if he could have Parkinson's. "I need..to eat something. With out it...my joints rub against each other giving me arthritis and my hard skin can become frail and crackly which could shed shards like glass into my crevasses.. I need to consume to lubricate my body and keep it healthy. I'm saying all of this, because id like to drink from you so that I can kill someone."

Cassandra's ear twitched as she heard Valken speak to Nova about the need to feed. That made her smirk and as much as she wanted to stay a bit longer just to hear what Nova would say to that but she could not turn down the call of the Queen. This being a elven city she doubted she needed her hand cross bow so she removed it and its strap and tossed it onto the bed and then did the same for the quiver. She then unhooked her rapier's sheath and placed it on the bed too. She would trust the elves to protect them at this point. Right now it wasn't their problem. She headed on the way out and looked to Nova's room looking at Valken and sighed. In a way she was a little jealous that Valken went to Nova and not her. She would have been alright with Valken drinking some of her blood just so he had the strength to go kill and eat some poor fool. She sighed and decided next time she got Valken alone she would say something. She liked Valken, a lot more then others would think. He was a good friend and would like to be the one to be there for him. She then with her hand brushed her bangs away from her face and left the building heading for the large tree.
Ishmael did not have keene hearing like Cass or Valken so whatever went down in Nova's room was their business. Ishmael exited a bit before Cassandra sense the messenger was right there by him when he said his words. The Queen wanted audience with them to talk to them about their plans for Eliphas no doubt. Perhaps the illusion prompted a faster movement for them or perhaps not. "Nova, don't take too long to join us, I don't know how good your Queen's patience is." He said as he left.

Kyoto listened to the words the messenger said to Ishmael and hopped right up. He did not feel as comfortable as Cassandra when it came to leaving his weapon. He took Icingdeath and headed for the door and then he noticed Jameson on the floor crashed and he rose a brow. "Yeah we are most certainly leaving you out of this one...." He said and he drug the man over to one of the chairs and helped Jameson into it. Once that was over he left the building and ran to catch up with Cassandra and Ishmael. "So have any of you seen the Queen? What shall I expect?" He asked them. He was really curious and wanted to know how he should behave. Should he be respectful or would being himself satisfy the Queen.

Nova reacted like most with her mouth open and gauking at him. "You want me to lend you my blood so you can kill someone?" She asked once more and then she began pondering it and looking to her arms even. Ruhdivar was a little taken back by it as well but rather then freak out like most people he had a solution. "She is too weak right now for you to drink her blood, I will lend you some of mine." He said stepping forward. "Only that you promise me whoever you kill to eat is not a elf. I hate my self for saying this but look to the survivors for nutrients, the Queen will forgive this lesser evil so that you would be at full strength to fight a even greater evil." Nova had turned her eyes to Ruhdivar in a bit of surprise as to his response.

She then looked to Valken to see what he would say. Would he accept Ruhdivar over herself? She would stay while it went down so as to make Valken feel safe but first he would have to accept Ruhdivar's offer. "The events of today have left me a bit weak mentally so it would help me if Ruhdivar was to offer his blood in payment in exchange for mine. I hate what he is saying as well but he is right. The Queen will forgive it."

Xukhezur alighted his craft upon the ground near where Lu'Vayla now stood in the wake of the illusion's disappearance, as he telepathically bade his optic orbs by means of his mind link with them, to resume their normal mapping patterns of the city and surrounding lands. He then looked around at the apprehensive glances cast his way, and released himself from fearsome looking effigy mecha, stepping free from within the construct to then have it meekly follow about behind him like a lost puppy. "Well, I'm alright if you are, Captain," he said quietly to Lu'Vayla. "We should seek a money changer, so we can at least buy ourselves some of that waybread before these elves think of an excuse to withdraw their hospitality."

He had a few pearls and a couple tiny gems in a small pouch in his belt pocket, and knew that exchanging one of them should give them enough of the elven currency for their stay. As he walked up to the bakery vendor, he quietly him that he wished to buy some waybread, but lacked the currency required. He then discreetly asked him if there was a money changer nearby, that he could visit. Meanwhile, a messenger approached Lu'Vayla on the edge of the carefully tended street, and informed her that the Queen wished to bring her and her companion in for an audience. Before Xukhezur could get an answer to his question, he followed the bakery vendor's eyes to the effigy that stood perhaps two yards behind him, and beyond that, to where Lu'Vayla was speaking with the messenger. "Excuse me," Xukhezur apologized, and walked back in time to hear what else the messenger had to say....

"mmm.." Valken flared his nose at Ruhdivar, suspicious. But he had no choice and he didn't have time to argue. "Deal. I won't eat any elvish folk." Valken held out his little thumb in an' attempt for a hand shake to secure his integrity. Demons make deals, Angels swear to god, and humans make promises.

"By the way, this wont be pleasant. I don't know what those vampiric rats tell you but this is not in anyway erotically stimulating. If they say that they just want to get you naked. " Valken took a few steps back and gave a bit of a worried glance to Nova.
"I'd like to ask you to lay down and put your legs up.." he said, a little embarrassed about how this would look.
"I need your heart lower than your body mass so that the blood would flow faster to your head and I won't have to be on top of you for as long if you were standing as you are now. This will be awkward in nature and I apologize." Valken was strangely polite about this, even compassionate about the fact that it would be equally as uncomfortable and an invading experience for the both of them.

Ruhdivar scratched the back of his head and made a pecular look and he glanced over at Nova who had her hand over her mouth. Not out of disgust but out of amusement. She then waved her hand at him. "You heard Ishmael out there... I aint got all day. Go on do it.. if you want you can use my bed..." She said.
Ruhdivar sneered at her with a response of."...Your enjoying this too much." He said and then he looked to Valkan and sighed. "Let's get this over with." He said moving to the bed. He then lifted his own legs so they would be over his head and at this moment Nova just lost it. She began laughing at the whole thing and she couldn't believe was she was watching. She had to help herself into a chair because she almost fell over. The whole thing was amusing to her and Ruhdivar looked to Valkan. "Not a word to anyone got it?"

Valken cleared his throat and wiggled his nose. It's not that he had never been on top of a male before, he has. It's just the context of it was different and in a way, he was vulnerable to Ruhduvar. He watched him get on to the bed which made matters worse and on his position Valken crumbled inside. He hopped up on the bed and stalled for a moment to say, "....any erections you might feel is completely involuntary and a cause of circulated blood flow."
Valken slipped his head through his elevated legs and funneled his body through to align his head with Ruhduvar's neck. Valken put his thumb at his chin and pushed it back to expose where the neck tendons were. If Ruhd was wondering why valken couldn't just bite him from the side, it was because he didn't want to puncture his neck tendons which would cripple him severely. That and he would have to mind his larynx which is responsible for speech.
Valken felt with his nose where his pulse was and then licked the area with his long black tongue to stimulate the blood vessels under the skin. Contrary to belief, valken also had to avoid the jugular veins which was a main artery that supplied the most blood from the heart, but puncturing them would kill Ruhd with in minutes.
"I suggest you hold onto me.." He said before taking his teeth into position.
It was a precise positioning of his lower teeth and front teeth, also having to avoid tendons located on the back of the neck.
It was a small bite in jaw gape, like eating an appetizer rather than extending the jaw all the way like normal.
Valken arched his back upwards tensely and as he began to take deep gulps his back breathed in and outward slowly. It almost became meditative until the sounds of liquid and air being sucked into valken's mouth became stomach churning.

The feeling was much worse, to have valken's teeth tugging back slightly on the wound as he inhaled was as if someone was taking a dagger and moving it back and forth into the wound.
It took an excruciating 30 seconds before he let go and scooted backwards from Ruhd. His tongue licking around his teeth and chin, cleaning his face.
"Put pressure on it...Nova...get some gauze and a needle." He said seriously before looking back at Ruhd.
"You won't change into a monster don't worry, we don't do that. "

Nova had to stop laughing just so she could breathe again and even though the endeavor was probably very painful for Ruhdivar it still was a bit of amusement, When Valken gave the all clear she simply nodded and rose up her two fingers which began to turn red from overheating as she activated a spell. It was put to its weakest for so it would not kill Ruhd but merely burn the wound close. "You thought that was painful?..." She said and Ruhd gulped as he put pressure on the wound as he rose up. Nova then placed the two super heated fingers to the neck and instantly began to here the sound of the flesh being burned underneath closing the wound shut. She then moved the fingers away and waved them in the air. They then went from fire to ice cold in a couple seconds for another spell. She then placed it on the wound to cool the burn. When she thought it was enough she then gripped the ends of the cloth from the bed and tore it. She then wrapped it around Ruhd's neck. She then looked to Valken and nodded. "I would have to thank you, this little event actually made my day. Don't worry I wont tell anyone about this." She said smiling. Ruhd had now a tear stained face as what Nova did was infact more pain then what Valken did, but it was clever cause it made him forget about that pain and on a new pain.

Nova then brushed some of her hair from her face."You will stay with us,..right? You are indeed a asset to us with your hearing and sent." She said and then she cleared her throat. "Plus I trust you, not just because the paladin does but because even though you are a demon, your not evil." She said and then in all seriousness her next words came full of truth in her veiw on it all. "You do things for the purpose of survival, and it is this knowledge that may make us and my people think differently on the whole population of demons. You feed to survive and yet demons like Eliphas,..." She quieted and recalled the image of the demon in her mind as well as from her dream which was more clear now. "I sensed he was purely evil and took the satisfaction of destroying everything around him... not like what I get from you. I sense none of that from you." She then touched her hand to Valken's cheek and then let it fall. "Besides if you travel with me and the group when you have Cassandra or me there this wont be so awkward." She sad as she slapped Ruhd on the knee. "Remember no elves,... and be picky on the survivors, pick one that is less likely to survive then the others." She said. "Once you are done meet us at the large tree in the center of the city. Don't worry if you have blood on you the Queen will understand."

Alceone looked to Eliphas, "I think it is time for you to retrieve that tome from the pink haired elf, contact your servants and tell them to attack the elven city." He bowed to Alceone nodding. "Yes mi lady." He then vanished reappearing at Lithium. "It is time Aries,.. Comense the attack on the elven city, I shall join in this attack personally." He said. He then turned away facing west towards the direction of the elven city and began his march. With him thousands of demons as well as elite generals all beside him. Excluding Barghest he had all the others with him. Each step caused a large clink with heavy foot falls. He even had his great sword drawn dragging the blade against the ground. The blade itself caused the land to decay around it. His very presence caused life to die. Trees became black as the leaves rotted and fell from their branches. Flowers wilted and became dead. Eliphas the destroyer set his dark aura at maximum causing even the Ents to cower in fear. As they reached ever closer he squeezed his empty armored hand in a fist flames igniting from the cracks. "There would be no mercy, spare no elf in the city. Kill them all!"
Aries summoned her flame bow her wings expanding as she took flight. She then ought of pure wrath began firing arrows at the Ents in rapid barrages of flames. The burning Ents did not last long as they died at the feet of the demon armies below. Joining her were many other flying beasts such as Vrocks and Balors.

Cornugon, the horned devil, watched as every ent they came upon died in flames as well as the very life of the forest begin decaying from Eliphas's presence. The mere display of power made him fear and respect the great demon for what he was. A monster in crimson red flames dragging its heavy sword as they approached the elven city. Now the elves will know fear as the very armies of their enemy bust down their walls. Suddenly the army stopped though about a mile from the elven walls. The city was nearly surrounded with only one way of escape which was south through a canal that dropped into a mighty river. This river was large and could carry away the toughest of opponents. Only the elven ships could manage this feat. The river eventually meet the ocean which would be the only place of safety... for now.
Ruhdivar was not in any luxury of moving from his spot. The loss of blood made him dizzy as Nova talked with Valken. He stood there watching them. In a way he was rather proud of his dear sister and what she had become. Well she was not really his sister but she felt very much like one. Suddenly he saw the tome begin to move without much help. He tried to rise quickly and when he did the invisible creature showed itself. Standing there with rage and ugliness was a large evil creature. The thing was a pit fiend. It rather quickly rose its mace up in the air and slammed it hard against the face of Ruhdivar killing him instantly. It then extended its wings and flew up smashing its great body through the ceiling with the tomb in its right hand and its mace in the other.

Only a few elves reacted to the fiend Pitzkrieg with a volly of arrows which threatened the fiend for they were tipped will silver and were likely blessed by their goddess Correlion. He felt a sharp sting in his left wing as one such arrow tore its way into it and forced him to be grounded. The elves seemed to know that the tome must be important for it to have attacked and only grabbed it. Pitzkrieg figured this because the next arrow to hit him was in his arm and it burned especially for him the silver poisoning his veins. He then dropped the tomb and became rather furious with the elves attacking him. He yanked out the arrow from his arm with its mouth and then with his free hand unleashed a flurry of fireballs which where in fact tiny meteors from its meteor swarm spell. The attack was very effective and he then trailed the location of the tome which was about to fall off the roof.

Most of the elves were at the walls with their bows or on the ballista reading for the sound of attack from the demons. Pitskreig made that change real quick and they began to fire their weapons doing a number on the demon hordes except for those who where not entirely weak against their weapons. Such as Eliphas. His power was expressed when one projectile came flying at him and he caught it with his mind. Telekenisis was a very power ability if controlled. He then turned the projectile around and launched it back at the elven wall causing some serious damage to it.
