I'd like to join, but not as a gang member. Anyone mind having a wife or sister who is a nurse that can stitch up wounds and house gang members when they get in trouble, feed them all occasionally, but not really want to be too involved in the gang activity?

I actually think I'm going to have my character in the Swindler's. A gang of thieves honestly suites my character more than a motorcycle gang. Here is my CS:

Name: Leonard "Lancaster" Render. Some call him "Lanny".
Age: 24
Personality: Serious. Somewhat of a leader figure. Tough and respected. Both emotionally and physically strong. Unclear past. Rather protective and his attention is valued. It is rare that his hardened exterior breaks, but in the event that it does, it is severe. He has a weak spot for women, especially prostitutes. Is usually calm and cooperative with the members of his gang, however he has a problem with authority outside of his gang. Grows very violent when he drinks.

Gang: The Swindlers
Brief Bio: Lancaster was the only son to a Dutch prostitute, working in the red light district of Amsterdam. Early on in her pregnancy, she met an American business man named Frank Render who was visiting the Netherlands. Only after knowing each other for three weeks, the business man brought Lancaster's mother back to America with him and married her in none other than Crown city. While Frank played a father figure in Lancaster's life, he would never truly know his father. Lancaster's mother died during childbirth. All he knew of her was all that Frank knew of her - she was a prostitute from Amsterdam with a kind heart. Lancaster grew up as a rather quiet child. Not knowing his birth mother or father was challenging. Despite the fact that Frank had only been married to Lancaster's mother for a few months, he took on the responsibility and adopted him as his son. However, their relationship was extremely distant and Lancaster left home and dropped out of highschool at the age of sixteen.

Leaving home at such an early age had it's disadvantages. Lancaster soon got involved with the Swindlers, at age 17, as just an errand boy. However, as he grew older, he was given more responsibility, until he reached the high position he currently is at.

Other: He had an actual lancaster tattooed on his side after having his nickname become his main alias.

If you're trying to propose that the Crown City Cartel is the 3rd gang and you want to comandeer it, that's alright. However, we need some more information(EG: The Leader, location, purpose and such) It would be best if you PM'd Myst, QT, or myself to explain further detail.

The Bad:
* Manipulator and lier, his young and handsome face hides how good he is at being a thief and mercenary
* Doesn't care if he has to inflict pain on others, either emotionally or physically; generally lacks strong ethics or empathy unless it involves someone he cares about
* Switches emotions quickly, prone to be quick to anger and stubborn against authority
* Addiction runs in his family, though currently not dealing with any he had issues with alcohol a couple years back

Works at Tommie's helping as part-time Bartender, and helps channel the gang's money through the business.

Brief Bio:
Baylen grew up in Crown City with his mother. She was an unfortunate drug addict, spending most of their money on feeding her habit, giving them a lifestyle of near poverty. Despite her addiction, Baylen loved his mother dearly and did anything she asked of him, never complaining about how poor of a life they lived because of her addiction. When Baylen was older he began visiting the local bars to offer his service for money. At 14 he was given a cash under the table job as a bus boy. It was during the busy times, when the bar was packed, that Baylen discovered how well he could pick pocket. He kept the money he stole to himself, buying things his mother couldn't afford, such as nice tailored clothing, a new satchel for his school books, new brown leather shoes. He felt amazing. His confidence grew and his desire for the finer things in life grew with it. Baylen learned to play poker during the game nights at the bar and when he was 16 he started to join in on the games. His photographic memory and good mathematical skills earned his right to high winnings, mostly pissing the men of the bar off. Eventually his winning streak was argued to be that of cheating and when he began to drive away traffic he was fired from the bar. At 16, Baylen had skipped ahead in high school and was already beginning college, using part of the funds he had earned for himself and part from a local grant he won. At this point he had enough money to help his mother live in a nicer area of the city, hoping the change would help rid her of her addiction. Despite sending her to rehab, books, CD's, pleading, begging, his mother couldn't break her addiction until it finally broke her. When Baylen was near graduating with his B.S. in Business, she passed away from over dose. Baylen graduated with honors, alone, at the age of 20. He tried working in business fields of certain interests, but nothing was exciting enough for him. He craved something that would use both his intellect as well as a rush of adrenaline. When he was 21, Baylen met Thomas Swindler when he was at a poker game at Tommies, looking for a place to live in this part of the city. Thomas was impressed with Baylen's abilities, and after a mild and relatively normal conversation during the game, getting to know more of who Baylen was, he offered him a job. The job was to meet with another "business man" to discuss a contract. Baylen helped prep for the meeting with their notes and paperwork. The meeting included manipulation, lies, and a subtle threat that Baylen knew Thomas would carry out. At the end of the job and it's success, Baylen received more money in a one lump sum than he had ever received before. Thomas offered him indefinite work and to join the Swindlers of which Baylen immediately agreed. This was a life of easy, quick money with enough intellectual stimulation and risk to keep him interested. Having been with the Swindlers now for 5 years, he looks to them as family, and enjoys the financial rewards that give him the lifestyle of luxury, fine clothing and dining, that he desired all growing up.

Hey Czech, he could oversee the warehouse, track all of the goods, and help Thomas with their trade and supply? He ensures they have the stock, each member is equipped, all stock is accounted for. If anything goes missing he knows. And he helps handle the deals for trading their goods?

Gang: The Swindlers
Brief Bio: His mother was gone since he was a kid, only living with his dad. His dad never really talked about her, and would get mad if Ignasi would bring it up. He highly suspected that his father killed her. His father was a con-man, and could effortlessly scam people. Ignasi often helped his father when he was a kid, as having a kid would make people more susceptible to whatever he was trying to do. At around 14, he discovered he had a talent of almost anything thieving related, though he still helped his father with what he did. At one point, with a scamming trip that his father did without him, the cops found out, and he went out after killing a couple of cops with a bullet through his brain. The cops knew that Ignasi helped him with the scams, so they went to his house to arrest him, though , he ran away before they got there. After that, he spent most of his time stealing stuff, whether it was simple pick-pocketing, to breaking and entering. He also did a few scams on the side. At one point, when he was around 20, he met Thomas, and he has been in the gang ever since.
