I've never really done RP before so I wanted to try it out. Hoping to look for both cool people/people who can give me both tips and help with my RPing.

Any tips for someone who is new? You see, I'm not familiar with Role-playing but I've written some stories like Fanfictions and I am also in the middle of writing a fantasy novel. I normally am an independent writer but I thought I might come here to see what Role-playing is like.. Anyways, I just needed some hints and wanted to say 'hello' to you all.
