Akari is very adventurous and brave. She will often agree to do something dangerous before others because she feels it is 'exciting'. Despite her occasional recklessness, she is extremely loyal and helpful. She doesn't give up on anything and always finishes what she starts. She’s quite determined and headstrong when it comes to accomplishing tasks. Akari is an extremely quirky girl with a serene disposition and many eccentric beliefs and qualities. She is a complete nonconformist; she lacks self-consciousness and is not afraid to show who she truly is. Often times she will randomly shout in the middle of her sentence or do other random odd things such as talk to herself or turn away during the middle of a conversation. Despite having the attention span of a rabid squirrel, Akari is also intelligent and unusually perceptive of others feelings and thoughts. Her demeanor and voice are often distant and dreamy, and she will drift away from a conversation she does not find interesting. She has an uncanny way of making others uncomfortable by being bluntly honest, or embarrassing honesty according to her mother. She is completely unflappable and rarely seems anxious or under stress, even under difficult circumstances such as being in battle or healing someone with a deadly injury. Akari is very good at comforting others and is usually quite a joy to be around. She has extremely well-developed senses, and an aesthetic appreciation for beauty. She's not interested in leading or controlling others. She is flexible and open-minded about other people lives, traditions, stories, etc.. She is also original and very creative and enjoys living in the present moment.

Personality:
Chen is very headstrong, something someone could probably see within their interaction with him. He comes off as the type who does stupid things without thinking of the consequences, but that’s wrong. He thinks about what his actions will cause and as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone [Too much] then he will do it. If he sees a firebender he will challenge them on the spot no matter what since he wants to be the best no matter what, he wants to test his own skill and learn to improve even if he gets beat up. He puts hard work into whatever he does and is very dedicated which comes with a side of strong loyalty. Get him on your side and he’s there to stay.

Despite what seems to be a loud and obnoxious personality Chen is actually pretty quiet when not challenging people to fights or talking about something he likes or what someone else is passionate about. Due to not interacting with many people except his older brother and occasionally his parents, he’s shy and awkward when it comes to females near his age or older especially if he finds them pretty, that’s when he starts blushing and/or sweating plus stammering in words...That is until he gets used to that person, which is usually within a few minutes, but rarely has he gotten those few minutes due to him being thought of as weird causing people to walk away from him.

He can be found training, reading, or eating….Or sleeping in which he passes out randomly sometimes due to over working himself. Despite that he doesn’t really have stress since he loves doing what he does, but he does beats himself up if he can’t get a certain technique or move down. But that just causes him to work harder than before.

Bio:
Chen didn’t have the happiest childhood, but nowhere near the worst either. Chen grew up in Republic City alongside his mother, father, and brother. In the early stages of his childhood Chen had gotten plenty of attention from his family. They would play with him when he got bored, help him with his homework, and even let him help around with things like washing dishes and other minor things. It slowly started to fade as he entered his pre-teen years and his brother took up fire bending. Chen didn’t think much of it though, nor did he care. He knew his brother needed watching over when trying to bend a dangerous element such as fire, and lightning if he got to that level.

It wasn’t until his brother began pro-bending that most attention was taken from him. The only attention he had gotten from his mother and father was the usual; eat dinner, go to school, go to bed and that was it. When it came to his brother, however, they marveled over him and praised him. They supported whatever he did without a second thought. It that wasn’t only his family though, it happened outside it too. Chen had faded to the background as his brother became more and more popular within pro-bending to the point that he was a famous one. Chen was genuinely happy for his brother, but, it still hurt him how every time someone spoke to him it was about his brother. Even with his parents. He had faded to the background, therefore became secluded by his own will.

His brother was the only person that noticed him. He had noticed Chen keeping himself away from others for almost a year at that point. When his own parents didn’t speak to him about it his own brother did. He told Chen that it wasn’t healthy holding everything back, therefore Chen decided to open up telling him about how he felt about no one really caring about him. His brother only smiled and told him to find his own purpose and goal then as his was to become a pro-bender. Chen soon decided he wanted to become the best fire bender in the world, of course he knew the dream was a long shot and was probably too idealistic, but keeping it in mind always kept him high at times when he felt low.

His brother had decided to help him achieve that goal as much as he could. He taught Chen fire bending in his free time. He even taught Chen how to redirect his lightning; he felt it’d be important to know even if Chen just wanted to focus on the fire. When his brother was away Chen would just train harder, and eventually began training himself as his brother became too busy. They became separated throughout the years, still on good terms, but they had to focus on different things. Meanwhile Chen doesn’t really speak to his parents or most of his family he occasionally watches pro-bending when his brother is playing.

Bending:
Fire bending – Due to his goal being to become the best firebender in the world Chen doesn’t focus on sub-bending much nor does he focus on any other styles [Of fighting] that doesn’t help his fire bending. He can redirect lighting to some extent but he mostly focuses on firebending. He’s skilled enough to do master level techniques. If he’s a master or not is debatable. He mostly uses Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and Chaquan.

Backstory
A rising underground drug lord in Republic City who stole and learned to grow a powerful and rare hallucinogenic plant from the Earth Kingdom. Tysun had a troubled child hood and his teen years were no better. His father left him when he was little and his mother would neglect him and mentally abuse him for his resemblance to his father who forgot about her. Tysun's mother told him that the only reason that he had been conceived was to keep his father around. By the time he had become a teen he ran away from home, because he was only used for chores and a secondary income. He had become a blacksmith for non benders and fell in love with a young lady with rose colored hair named Delara. Delara was a non bender who was the daughter of a earth bender mother and a non bender father. Tysun sold tools and weapons to her father and Delara's father introduced her to Tysun. She was a breath of fresh air to him, a female who gave him all of her attention and attractive kindness. A woman who was the extreme opposite of his cold, unloving mother. Tysun took a trip with Delara to visit her some of her family at the earth kingdom and he enjoyed the experience very much.... until something happened. One night Tysun and Delara retired to sleep, Delara got up from bed while Tyun was almost asleep. She stayed gone for far too long and he Tysun went to check on her. When he found her, he saw her with another earth bender performing sexual acts upon him. Tysun set them both to flames and fled far away. From that point forward he lost respect for all women and knew them to only cause hurt. An intense pain ate at his core and one night as he wandered alone through the Earth Kingdom, he fell asleep near a group of oddly shaped black plants. He awoke from a night terror that resulted in bursting flames from his fists and accidentally burning the plants. After a few minutes of doing this he started to experience wonderful illusions that he first thought to be dreams. Some of the "dreams" were of him and his mother, but the feeling of resentment he had towards her was gone and she gave him love and warm hugs that he never had before. When the fumes of the plants wore off a feeling of dread came to him and he remembered reality. The happiness the plants induced far outweighed the after affects, so he uprooted them and took him with him. He discovered little mustard sized black seeds on the roots that slid off easily and he found out how to grow them. As he grew up, he made the plants into a drug that he would later sell and make lots of cash over. To this day his name is known, but only a select few can associate a face with the name.

Brief Personality
Despite his criminal tendencies, Tysun's heart is more-so hardened by his past rather than naturally evil. He can sometimes deal with his business harshly, but a lot of times he is seemingly calm and overly chill. He's more addicted to the luxuries gained from his dealings (which gives him happiness along with the high of his drugs that substitutes for his lack of affection) rather than the power.

Peeka is a very interesting girl with seemingly two sides. Her sweet, compassionate side and her feisty, cold(ironically) side. The side seen by most is her cold, feisty side. This is because Peeka has a wall up around herself and is very strong-headed. Peeka has built her wall in order to keep herself safe after everything in her past happened. Peeka is also one who is constantly training, fighting, or refining her bending skills. If not doing that she is meditating, singing, sleeping or eating.

If you were to somehow get close to Peeka, you would see the sweet and compassionate side of her that she saves for only those who have proven themselves to her. She isn't one to easily show the true side of herself. You must earn her trust which is not something simply done. The process can be long for some and for others it can be short, it really depends on first impressions for Peeka. She bases a lot of her thoughts on others by first impressions.
