Wonderland; the next generation

I'd like to do a roleplay where the players are the children of the famous characters from the books, but I wasn't sure if I should do a sandbox type of thing, or add some conflict. the next issue would be that I don't know what conflict I would add.

any thoughts?

This is interesting. Maybe the conflict could be like the loss of imagination? I'm not really familiar with the term "sand-boxing".

a sand box roleplay, as I've learned, is character driven. the basics of the world are set out and the player's characters go from there.

I think I'll try for character driven, I find it more fun, especially when we've got a world like wonderland to use.

That also brings up a point to make- I'm going to say that Alice only explored a small portion of wonderland, so there will be room for players to make new areas and add more strange things like we saw in the books and movie.

Maybe there could be a parallel universe for wonderland where all the spirits are? Kinda like the one people believe we have here, kinda like an in-between place where the ghosts are that can't rest in peace.
