Kevin grabbed the fifty as ordered and racked the bolt ready to fire on any tangos that came his and his friends' way. Shit...he hoped that boy in the buggy was alright after seeing the impact on the tree. Lucky it didn't knock the soldier senseless. It was about four klicks or so from their current location he witnessed a couple of silhouettes moving across the sand, human shaped silhouettes. "Lieutenant!" He hollered over to Jax. "I got eyes on possible enemy movement four klicks due east. Might wanna hurry and get that man patched up."

Charles wasted no time. He pulled himself up to his gun and waited, he spoted some dilutes and lined up his sights

Maggie has to jerk the stick hard over nearly laying Weeds on her side as two RPG trailing smoke try to occupy her former location. She doesn't even look in Miguel's direction or try to shout a warning as Weeds pulls out at 50 feet to spare.

Anyone who might be privy to her expression would moments later say Maggie had become a demoness as she works the rudder pedals and sends about 150 rounds of .50 cal in the general direction of the launch plumes.

Maggie doesn't bother informing the Convoy knowing they can hear her as she calls on the local AWACs for back up.

It is not panic that causes Maggie to call on command but her experience that it takes time for support and during that time all those ground pounders had was her and while she, Miguel and Weeds were a game changer it was better to have an not need than to need an not have.

" alright everyone you heard we got 8 mikes till the big guns roll in, i want coms dead" just as jax yells that a bullet hits the humvy with a loud ping " Fire at will " as jax screams to back off the invasion. " Xray 2 to nest we have shoots fired returing fire advise back up that the zone is hot"

Not too soon did the words leave Jax's mouth when all hell broke loose. Just as Kevin trained the M2's sights on the eastern horizon, rifle fire rang out and bullets pelted the humvee with a resounding ping. "FUCK!! CONTACT RIGHT!!" He hollered immediately opening fire in the given direction. The sheer ferocity of the fifty rattles in his gloved hands as his face is baked by the heat coming off the barrel. Shell casings swooped past him, hot brass pelting his skin with a burning singe. Just like that.....a typical situation faced in the Stan. One moment your joking with your buddies, the next....you're fighting to save their lives.

Weeds goes into an erratic flight pattern pausing at times to fire a burst of .50 cal to keep the gomers down.
Maggie keeps her hydras in pocket for when she needs them.

Miguel ready the MMS I heard we might have a Buff or two in orbit nearby.
Paint me some clusters of those Gomers in case they have range. she says to her Copilot as she decides to let one hydra antiper fly

She begins firing her .50 cal along the advancing enemy line till she reaches its far flank and releases a hydra set in air burst mode at the flank.

Weeds spins 170 degrees and Maggie let's and hydra go aiming at the other flank 500 meters away
