Katherin world was that of a normal college girl until the morning she woke up to discover that she wasn't the only person in her head. She sought help immediately. She was afraid that she had schizophrenia or something. She ignored the voice in her head until she realized that the things he was telling her were real. She tested her first doctor. He accused her of spying on him because she knew things that no one else knew. That is when she figured out that the voice in her head was telling her everyone's secrets. No secret was safe from her. When Katherin question the voice and he explained the secret behind his existence, how he had came to be inside her mind, and that she was not the only person out there who had received a being like him. Katherin immediately began seeking those people who's life had changed the same day as hers had. She sent them an email inviting them to met her in a castle that had been in her family for centuries. The email she sent out read: You don't know me but I know you. In the last month your world has changed. One day you were alone in your head. The next you weren't. You saw doctors and did research but couldn't find the answers about what was happening to you. Soon you notice that the voice in your head isn't the only thing that has changed. You can now do something that no human can do. I am here to tell you that you are not alone. There are others like you. Others that have a voice that whispers to them and can do things that no one else can do. I have some answers. I am inviting all of those who has had these experiences to come to my castle where I will explain what I know about what has caused these changes.

One day, Evelyn’s world had just changed. It was like a switch had been flipped in her head. She was generally alone with her thoughts. But then every time someone challenged her, whether just joking or sincerely, this adrenaline rushed through her veins and a pounding began in her head that basically forced her to try with all her might. She’d first noticed it in pastry class, when they had to make mini pies. She’d chosen cherry, and as she looked around her, this anger began coursing through her that she’d never felt before in her life. Her fingers moved quicker, and quicker, until she was the first one done with her pies. They got their grades later that week posted online, and she made a high score, one she’d normally be happy with. But it wasn’t the highest in the group. She’d suddenly felt like she was being stabbed in the stomach. Something like what she imagined contractions felt like to a laboring woman. They wrapped around to her back and throbbed, causing her to double over in pain. Tears sprung to her eyes. It had faded, along with a weird guilt for not doing her best, but she was concerned about what she’d experienced. She went to the doctor who ran all kinds of tests, ultrasounds, blood scans, etc. But nothing was found. It kept happening though, and she began to eat less, sleep less, and in general be less upbeat. And that was all just within the span of a month.

She was about to go back to the doctor and demand more tests, when she got an email invitation to some castle. It was bizarre, but she decided to set her appointment with the doctor for a few days after this trip. She called her dad to tell him where she was going, in case this was some freaky ‘To Catch a Predator’ type deal and nothing legit, and packed up a bag. She drove her red and silver smart car up to the place, smiling at how pretty it was, and wondering exactly how the person who sent the email knew what they did about the recent change in her life.

She was wearing her hair in a messy bun, with some grey Victoria Secret sweatpants and a black tank top with a black hoodie over, and bag slung over her shoulder. She looked around, as if awaiting someone to greet her, before taking a deep breath and approaching the door to the giant place. ”Um…” she breathed hesitantly before knocking on the door with the knocker.

Katherin grabbed her notebook as she made her way to the door. The nice thing about the castle she had inherited was that it was big. There should be plenty of room for everyone. They could be together without being on top of each other. They could all have thier own space. She smiled as she opened the door. She handed the woman she saw standing there the notebook where she had already written her introduction for everyone. The page read: Hello welcome to my castle. My name is Katherin. Please come inside I will explain what I know.

Silence. If she had to name the thing she missed most, it would be the silence and clarity she once had inside her own mind. Tiffany used to believe in other people, and one could even call her naive. But not anymore. She could tell when someone didn't speak the truth, even if it had just been a small lie. It had started off just a whisper, something in the back of her mind telling her that someone wasn't being truthful. Then it got worse. The voice inside of her head started getting louder, to the point where it started causing her pain and headaches. Even if she wasn't listening, she could hear them, and something inside of her felt disgusted and angry when she heard the lies that were told, staying inside more and more often.

It wasn't much of a surprise that she had to see a doctor, and she felt almost casual when she went. Tiffany had told the doctor about the voice, and about the pains in her head. The doctor didn't have a diagnoses, and her mother was afraid that she might have schizophrenia or another mental health disease. After a particular incident where in Tiffany threw a large fit, shouting about how the teachers and students were all liars, her mother was forced to unenroll her from school. Tiffany grew quitter and more withdrawn, more often than not skipping meals, until she barely spoke with anyone other than her mother, her father, and her cat. All this happened in the span of about two weeks, and her family continued to fret.

She had just woken up, and was deleting the usual emails from her so called friends when she stumbled upon an odd looking email from someone she didn't recognize the name of. Checking the contents, it was an apparent invitation to a castle. Figuring she had nothing to lose and needed to get out of the city, Tiffany packed a bag and told her father where she was going, Figuring she could always call him if it was a scam, which she could figure out rather easily. Tiffany realized just how big the castle actually was as they drove closer, and she straightened out her dress, determined to make a good first impression no matter who answered the door. She was wearing a white dress with black polka dots, white knee socks and simple shoes, and her long hair hung loose, her tower clip keeping it out of her face. Waving goodbye to her father and gently picking up her cat, Tiffany walked to the towards the two figures by the door, shifting her bag.

"Um, is Miss Katherin here? I received an email from her." She inquired just loudly enough to hear, looking at the stones beneath her feet.

Katherin smiled at the newest arrival. Since the first woman still had the notebook and she couldn't speak to introduce herself she waved. The with a thought she reached into her pocket and typed out a massage so that the new arrival would know what was going on. The message on the phone read: Hello. My name is Katherin. I would like to welcome you to my castle. I have some information that I think will help you understand what is happening to you.

Being alone in his own head was a distant dream. Possibly the last one that Conrad had ever had. Even being awake couldn’t keep the nightmares at bay. One day he had awaken to find himself in a world much more frightening than the one he had gone to sleep in. And then there was her. Conrad had confined himself to his apartment less than twenty four hours later- to protect his loved ones as much as himself. Being alone was terrifying, but at least it didn’t project those horrors onto those around him. The email reached him just a step ahead of insanity. A whisper to a lost soul. Could it be a trap? Well sure it could be, the devil woman in his head probably would love to torture him... But it wasn’t her style. He had only one choice, and that was to investigate... Which brought him to where he was.

Conrad stepped slowly out of the cab and raised the sleeping mask that had been covering his eyes for the last few hours. He didn’t have much on him, just his backpack. Jammed into it were two changes of clothing, his laptop, and some smaller items. That... And a metal baseball bat he was carrying around. Nightmares weren’t as bad when you had something to swing at them with... Normally.

“Am I late to the party?” Besides the sleeping mask, he was pretty much thrown together. Running shoes, jeans, brown leather belt, a white T, and a blue sports hoodie, all messily arranged on his body. In his ears were earbuds playing music loud enough to carry to those around him. There was an explanation of course. Under normal circumstances he would have come dressed neatly, put together. His current dress was the most he could do. The sleeping mask was to keep his eyes covered when possible... So he didn’t have to see... and the music so he didn’t have to hear.

Evie was greeted by a girl with a notebook, who handed her the pages with something written on them. Looking a bit confused, Evelyn took it gingerly from her and read the words, looking with raised eyebrow towards the red head. Before she could respond, others pulled up. A pretty girl with long brown hair, and a rather disheveled looking boy. The girl asked for a Katherin, who was apparently the girl who’d answered the door. At least according to the notebook Evelyn now held in her hands. And the guy asked if he was late to the party. As far as Evie knew, this was nothing like any party she’d ever been to, or hoped to ever be invited to again.

”Umm…” she said, handing the guy the notebook with Katherin’s introduction, taking the lead and stepping inside the castle. It was positively gorgeous within, and Evie found herself looking all around and up with her lips parted before remembering why she was here. That email.

Katherin watched woman who was possessed by Defeat entered her castle. She wondered how much the people had figured out on their own. Probably not much. She ignored Secrets and he began whispering all the secrets her visitors had brought with them. She could feel the weight of the burden of keeping the secrets pressing down on her. She would never tell reveal the secrets that her demon gathered.

Conrad raised an eyebrow at the message. Not much to go off of here. He turned off his mp3 player and stashed away his earbuds, yawning all the while- until a creeping sensation struck him. He looked down to see his shadow wavering, and then stretching and growing. Conrad took a deep breath and shouldered his backpack into a more comfortable position before moving to enter the castle. Out of the corner of his eyes, he thought he could see things moving in the forest. Conrad shuddered and rushed inside, taking just a second to offer the notebook back to their host. Inside, Conrad gasped as his eyes took in the entrance.

It was horrendous. Leering statues and bloody chains, wracks of knives... A faint, feminine chuckling in his head was the only thing that brought him back to his senses. That was cruel. The thought only made her laugh turn from a chuckle to an open one. The creepiest part of it was how pleasant it would have been in a normal situation. Conrad back away to a wall and put his back to it, sliding down to sit. Then he pulled the sleeping mask down over his eyes. At least she couldn't interfere with his vision too much like this.

When did it all begin? Was it when he woke up in the middle of the night to a searing sensation all over his body? Was it when the extra presence that invaded him breached the sanctity of his mind so easily as one would open a book? Or was it when his gentle hands on his girlfriend's face caused boils to suddenly burst forth, leaving him stunned as she writhed in a pool of pus and blood, her cries silenced as she finally succumbed to whatever maladies that assailed her? Or was it...

Or it could be just you.
Jorn glanced at the myriad of slivers of his face looking back at him from the floor where he threw the mirror. His lips curled into a bestial snarl as he shouted at the shattered shards, "This is all your fault! Get out of me! GET OUT!" Grabbing a nearby vase, he flung it at the mirror scraps which burst into an explosion of delicate china, pieces of which found themselves lodged into his already ruined flesh, vestiges of his attempts of suicide and self mutilation."Argh, damn it! Damn it!" His body heaved with the strain of blood loss and mental fatigue and he cupped his bloodied hands to his face as fresh lines of tears snaked through his eyes, stinging his open wounds.

Had enough already?
He growled, his anger welling up within him again when a shrill chirp cut through the otherwise silent room and he stopped in his tracks. The sound repeated itself again and it took him awhile to recognize the sound of his cellphone ringing. A dozen emotions flooded him at once when he saw the caller and he refrained from answering. He waited until the ringing stopped before picking up the phone. His finger shaking in trepidation and pain, he lightly tapped the phone's screen. "Jorn, she's okay! She's going to make it. The doctors said they still don't understand how she could've been infected with half a dozen diseases in such a short period of time but they've managed to stabilize her and she's going to be okay!" Relief flooded him and he sank into the floor weeping. "Jorn, are you okay? There were many people that were caught in the outbreak at that time. Please, call us back. It's not your fault, no one would've known a disease outbreak would happen there, please be safe and call us back."
Ooh, but it is your fault, wasn't it? Your girlfriend, those poor people who tried to help, those people you carelessly touched, all...*thump*

His fist smacked into his head with sufficient force to blur his sight and rattle his brains. Gratefully, it stopped the presence temporarily. But Jorn knew the presence was right, he is a danger to everyone. The people he touched...they were all tainted by him. And those who were tainted would suffer dearly, as his girlfriend did. Some didn't show any immediate signs, others had a volatile and instant reaction to his touch. He could hazard a guess that his taint affects everything he touched, which would explain why his landlord vomited after touching the doorknob. Try as he may, he could never get it off him, despite scrubbing himself raw and soaking in a bathtub of Dettol. Even access to his university's lab didn't yield any results as to the cause of his problems. As it wasn't serious at first, just the minor rash, stomach cramp or some small inconvenience so he ignored it. Now, people were being hospitalized, people close to him, people that he cared, people that he loved. Jorn Wolff would have none of that.

Getting up shakily to his feet, he reached for the bloodied bowie knife and prepared to cut himself once more, deeper, and end his existence. His phone flared to life again with another shrill chirp and Jorn stopped. Begrudgingly, he swiped on his phone and read the email he just received. Given any other normal circumstances, he would have considered the email to be a mere prank or some sort of cultist spam mail, but his circumstance was anything but normal. Eyeing the contents with mounting interest, he looked at the bowie knife in his hand, sighed and dropped it to the floor. There was nothing left for him anymore, no more normal life to return to. "Looks like I have to move on in life again."
Looks like we finally agree on something.

After what seemed like an eternity of driving later, he arrived at the designated location, his extremities covered in sanitized bandages. Donning a brown hoodie over his black shirt, he let the hoodie cover his face as adjusted his bowie knife hidden in a strap behind his back and heaved his small backpack onto his shoulders. Looking around and taking note of points of interest, he sighed. Whoever it was that sent him that email was certainly loaded. Either that or the person was going a long way to pull off a very bad joke on him. "The point of no return, eh?", he said to himself before he trudged up to the front doors, nodding to the lady at the doorway and accepting the notebook with a whisper of thanks whilst trying to avoid touching anyone or anything.

Katherin smiled as the man possessed bupy Disease entered her castle. She sighed and looked around. All the ones that had replied to her email so far had arrived. Now it was to explain what she knew. But how coud she explain something most people couldn't believe? She didn't know but she felt that the people like har who had received demons deserved to know as muchas she did. Which was why she had set up this meeting. With a sigh she headed inside to try to explain.

She tapped the keeper of Nightmares as she passed. She didn't want to have to explain again because he missed the first meeting. She made her way to the great room where shehad set up a large table with snacks and her projector. She wanted everyone to be able to read her responses at the same time. She turned on the projector and wrote: I have done a lot of research and I believe I have some answers for you. We have somehow been chosen to be the recipients of demons. I'm not sure how or why yet. There are a total of 12 of us. By receiving a demon, we have become immortal.

Evelyn followed their host, glancing at the others a bit and trying to determine what she could about them from how they acted and appeared. They all seemed like something was off, but then again it could have just been her mind skewing her perspective that way. Evie shook her head and just grabbed a cookie off the snack table and watched as the redhead turned on a projector and began writing.

Demons? Evelyn frowned, popping the rest of the sweet into her mouth and wiping her hands on her clothes. ”Um, immortal… hmm… I’m not sure I want to test that, but how can we be sure what you’re saying is true? And are all 12 of us different?” she asked, unsure exactly how demonic things worked. If all of this was even true. Evelyn had always been fascinated by ghost hunter shows, demon possessions, horror movies, etc. But she’d never planned on being IN a situation like this.

Tiffany quickly followed the rest inside, giving a worried glance at the boy resting on the floor. As she walked in, she saw that the red headed woman who owned the castle was setting up a projected. So far it seemed as if the woman was telling the truth, and that scared Tiffany more than the belief that it was a lie, that she was just crazy. Thougts wondering, Tiffany pondered over the woman. She seemed fine, but didn't speak. Maybe she was mute.

Quietly raising her hand, Tiffany glanced around nervously. "Um, S-sorry, I was just wondering, which out of the twelve do you you guys have?" She mumbled once more, hoping that they could hear her. She was quite curious, and since no one could tell her anything false without her knowing, she supposed questions were good for her. It was all quite hard to believe though. There was a demon inside her head. And it wasn't just her, there were eleven others like this. And what exactly are the twelve? She hoped there wasn't one for death, that would be very unfortunate for whoever was possessed and the people around them.

I have tested my immortality. I have tried many times to kill myself. Nothing has works so far. Each demon is different. You Evelyn are the keeper of the demon lord Defeat. I am sure you have notice that you can not turn down the simplest challenges. If you lose a challenge you experience pain but if you win you experience pleasure. I dont know how to prove to you what I am telling you is true. You know that you have changed in the last month. No one you have gone to can explain the changes and no matter what you do the changes remain the same. Katherin wrote.

The tap on his head made him jerk a bit, but Conrad lifted his mask to see his host move towards a projector in the center of the room. We must be starting... He sighed and moved to stand upright, watching the projection silently as the young woman wrote. He blinked slowly, taking the idea of possession slowly, before coming back to himself. He had been prepared for this. Conrad unslung his backpack and reached in to pull out a small notebook and pen- only to swear and stumble back- falling over when a twisted black hand gripped his wrist within the bags pocket. It was gone in an instant, it wasn't truly real... at least he thought it wasn't.

Realizing he was sitting on the ground and making a small scene, Conrad awkwardly got back to his feet, taking notes on what the woman was writing.
Immortal, Evelyn is keeper of defeat: Has pain when loses, feels good when wins? (*Evelyn is the girl with a black hoodie.)

He paused. Attempting to kill herself? That was a bit... The thought made him shudder almost as much as the shadows creeping around the room did. Conrad took advantage of the pause to jump in.

"So, if this is true... then how do we get rid of these 'demons'? I doubt any of us here enjoy having them around." He looked at the youngest-looking member of the group. -she had asked a question. "Oh, and my name is..." Her shadow was doing a fantastic bloodthirsty wolf impression... "Conrad, and I have a horrible case of daymares, nightmares, and prettymuch any other kind of mare you can think of that doesn't involve horses."

Katherine smiled at Conrad's comment. That is because you Conead are the keeper of the demon lord Nightmares. You need to make so sort of deal with your demon while you have the sanity to do so. she encouraged him. Then she turned the youngest member of their group. [i]You my dear Tiffany know I am telling the truth. You are the keeper of the demon lord Lies. You can tell the truth from the lie.[i] Katherin gesture to the second man in their group. [i]Jorn here is the keeper of the demon lord Disease. I don't know how or why we are chosen. I haven found anything that explained that.

Jorn had skirted around the edges of the room ever since he entered, trying to remain as inconspicuous and hidden as possible as he clung to the shadows cast by the pale light. It took a while for his eyes to grow accustomed to the dim room; despite the bright flare of light from the projector and the presence of several lights that dotted the walls of the large room, it was considerably darker than the pure whiteness of the outside. He scowled. It's difficult to avoid the prejudiced notion that all this was turning to be a great farce. A castle, ill lit rooms, macabre decorations and a lady handing out written single-line introductions? It'd be the perfect setting for a horror movie or a some sort of fanatical cultist meeting.

In fact, Jorn had kept his eyes peeled for any hidden cameras, even tapping the stone bricks of the walls with his knuckles to check its authenticity as he walked along. He would not come so far, abandoning everything he once was just to be caught in an elaborate prank or some sort of freaky reality show. His eyes glanced back at the small group that had assembled there. Three girls and another guy. One of the girls looked to be rather young to be out here by herself, betrayed by her shy demeanor and adolescent looks. The others...well, he guessed that none of them gathered here so far were older than him. Only the lady that welcomed them from the doorway, Katherine, seemed mature enough.

And for a moment there, Jorn felt a pang of fear that this could just be some deceptive mail sent around to gather young, naive, deluded fools for kidnapping or something far horrible. After all, such cases, although uncommon, were not unheard of. Instinctively, Jorn took a step back and reached for his bowie knife, the familiar contours of its hilt reassuring him as he gripped it tightly, his eyes darting back and forth for any signs of treachery and danger.
Repose yourself, foolish mortal. You are where you should be.
The voice did little to assuage his mounting anxiety but he turned his gaze towards the projector as the hostess started to write.

Katherine said I have done a lot of research and I believe I have some answers for you. We have somehow been chosen to be the recipients of demons. I'm not sure how or why yet. There are a total of 12 of us. By receiving a demon, we have become immortal.
Jorn stared dumbly at the words for a while until their meaning sunk in. His expression changed from indifference to astonishment to incredulity to anger before settling into a visage of rumination, his brow furrowed in a mask of deep thought and concentration. But inside, his mind raced. 'I knew this was some weird cultist worship! Demons?! This is not the medieval times where we burnt witches at stakes and hid from the dark for fear of some mythical beast and demons. This is the age of science, of technology! Not of flying carpets and lamp genies!' as Jorn thought to himself.
Aah, you can deny its veritas all you want but you know deep within, that which is or isn't...

He could hear the others talking, asking questions about it as if it was the most natural thing to do. His frown never left his face as he continued looking as Katherine answered their questions respectively but jolted to full awareness when he saw mention of his name. His name. How did she..? "Wait, wait, wait...hold on a second, Katherine. You'd actually expect me to believe that I have a...demon? Living inside of me?" asked Jorn skeptically.
You cannot doubt the veritas of the words spoken yet unsaid. Mea nomen est Morbi, otherwise known as Disease. A pleasure to finally be properly acquainted.

A shout escaped his lips unbidden. "Shut it!" Suddenly realizing his outburst, he waved his hands apologetically, "No, no, I didn't mean you, Katherine, sorry about that. Nevertheless, this is the age of science. I'm not so prone to flights of fancy and delusions as to so easily accept having a demon inside of me just to explain there recent incidences that happened to me. I mean, it could just be a genetic mutation, right? Something our level of science hasn't been able to figure out yet, right?" Yet even as he said it, he heard the hollowness and anxiety of his words, words meant for himself to try to waylay and avoid accepting the cold, hard reality presented to him. Turning to the others, Jorn more pleaded than asked, "Come on, you guys. Are you really serious about believing all this? Demons? Immortality? I mean, sure I healed up rather fast but I still bled like a stuck pig when I cut myself up. This all can't be true, right?" Jorn's voice quivered at the end of his sentence as he looked at each of them, hoping for someone to suddenly burst out in laughter and assure him it was all a joke.

Tiffany looked up at the man who had spoken. He seemed to be the oldest, but he was growing increasingly panicky at the prospect of having a demon in his head, believing it to be all a farce. She wished to believe it too, but everything the woman had said was the truth. They indeed all had demons in their head.
He clings to the lies, not willing to acknowledge the truth. Disgusting. He's a liar. A LIAR! You should know now shouldn't you, sweetie? Go on, tell him. Tell them all. You know the truth. You're going to be stuck with me for the rest of your life, which happens to NEVER END!

Tiffany brought a hand up to hold her head, wincing as the voice got increasingly louder. It always did this when someone wasn't being truthful. "S-she's not l-lying. I can... t-tell. We really do have d-d-demons in our heads. Can't you h-hear it?" Tiffany winced again as the voice continued ranting, slowly sliding to the floor, head in hands. "I-I'm so s-sorry. It just won't stop." She was on the verge of tears. She had hoped that it wouldn't happen today, the there would finally be the peaceful silence she longed for every day.

Evelyn looked uncomfortable as the girl said she’d tried to girl herself and couldn’t. Even if she hadn’t succeeded, the thought was disturbing. You Evelyn as the keeper of Defeat. I am sure you have noticed that you cannot turn down the simplest challenges. If you lose a challenge, you experience pain but if you win you experience pleasure. Evie hesitated, knowing what the woman had written was indeed true. The truth of it made her blush though, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone else in the room. Surely some jackass would challenge her now to something she couldn’t win, and she’d feel the stabbing pains again. Or maybe they’d be nice and let her win something so she’d feel better. But these were people with demons in them. She supposed in a way, they were all corrupted now.

Evelyn sighed and glanced over as Conrad introduced himself and said he had nightmares. Maybe that was the reason for the mask. Hmm… Then Katherin spoke of a girl named Tiffany who had lies, and Jorn who had disease. That made Evelyn shudder. Deafeat sucked, but disease sounded worse.

Wait, wait, wait.. hold on a second, Katherine. You’d actually expect me to believe I have a… demon? Living inside of me? Evelyn hesitated at the man’s words. He was trying to be logical, but logic didn’t exactly make sense here did it? It seemed everyone was readily accepting this because it made sense. Even Evelyn was tempted to understand exactly what proof their host had beyond this surprising knowledge about them all.

Shut it! Evelyn jumped, looking a bit scared as Jorn yelled out. ”Umm… the only other explanation there would be really would be a shared delusion, and that would seem rarer to me, than demon possession,” Evie said, hoping she didn’t sound stupid. Evie glanced to whom she assumed was Tiffany, who began stuttering and saying she could hear a demon in her head. Evelyn frowned. She hadn’t noticed a voice in her head or anything… Perhaps he was latently waiting, or just feeding her thoughts when appropriate so he could keep tearing her down in a slow tortuous way. She had no idea. She’d heard a voice in her head before, but then again, she thought she’d just been talking to herself. Hell now she was confused. And the Tiffany girl was sliding to the floor.

”Uhh… are you guys gonna be okay?” she asked. Ah, this was the challenge wasn’t it? To appear to be the most sane one in the room. If she wasn’t, well, she’d be losing perhaps. Or maybe she was making up games in her mind. Maybe she was losing her mind. Either way, at least she wasn’t yelling for no reason or grabbing her head or wearing a mask, or trying to kill herself.

He nodded, taking continuous notes.
Katherine has attempted suicide... Multiple times? I am keeper of nightmares, need to make a ‘deal’ to preserve sanity. Ahh, be quiet. You may be able to screw with my senses, but I STILL have control of my body. The girlish laughter in his head was creepy. She laughed harder because she knew it was.
Tiffany is keeper of lies, could tell if Kat was telling truth... Can detect lies? (*She is the really young one.) Jorn keeper of Disease. (*He is the older male.)
Conrad scowled at the lack of answers. This was going to be hard. Jorn pretty much summed up his concerns, if a little extreme... And he also cut into himself? The other girl... Evang. No, Evelyn, seemed a bit intimidated, glancing at them all as if they were crazies.

“Alright, I got a solution. I get that Katherine believes this is real, but clearly it isn’t enough for the rest of us. So lets set up a series of tests.”
Conrad waved his notebook.
“Evelyn can be tested pretty easily, but we don’t know how much pain she would go through.”
He turned to point at Tiffany.
“If Tiffany really has the ability to tell the truth, as Katherine claims, then you can easily test her by telling about yourself. She would know of any falsehoods immediately, if she really is Lie’s host.”
He turned slightly to regard Jorn. “As for you... I don’t want to think about it... And as for myself? I don’t know of a way to test it. I guess for all we know I am the only insane one here, and the rest of you really are possessed.”
