Looks fine. Unless you guys wish to discuss something or post again, I'll start typing a post. If you do wish to converse, it might be a good Idea to PM each other what you say and then have one of you post the conversation, rather than a ton of short posts. (Or it's a terrible idea. One of the two.)

Collab posts are pretty common and a good suggestion. Though as of now Clyde isn't exactly near the others, so no chatting for me! xD. I could write something up, but it wouldn't probably have anything terribly interesting, so I'm fine just sitting back and waiting for a post from you for now.

"E" is not amused by the job requests.

I know none of you have Culture/Criminal, but would your ship or previous captain have a reputation for doing less than legal work? If so I can throw some of that in.

I'll be honest, I think there would be a dissonance with my character if we willingly took up criminal jobs (though getting tangled up in criminal work by accident would still be fine) and I think the same could be said for Clyde, though it's possibly more ambiguous with E ;)

If E did want to take up a criminal job secretly by lying and persuading Senth and Clyde to do a job which we didn't realize was criminal, that could make for an interesting twist, and could possibly be coordinated by PMs between Venom and J3lly? Just a suggestion :) Or we could take a job that none of us realize is actually involved with illegal gangs or whatever.

I like the sound of this.

Clyde's not exactly one for illegal work, but wouldn't exactly pass up a job if he was desperate. Not exactly in that position right now, but I'd totally roll with this idea Angst's got. Clyde isn't going to really question E or Senth much when it comes to work (Unless he knows it's wrong, which might lead to a negative response depending on what it is.) though if E pulled something like that he'd become a lot more cautious.

Well, I realized something, I have nothing to post. The point of Stars Without Number is that the players are in control. I'm not going to have a wise old man show up at the door of your ship and say "You must save the galaxy, for you are the chosen ones." I'm waiting on you guys to do something, whether that be look into the job offers you have, look for new offers, go to a different planet, assassinate a politician, etc. Running a ship and living costs money, and while it's completely fine if you decide to do nothing, eventually you're going to run out of money. Think of it like GTA or another open world game: you can choose to stand in a corner and do nothing, but then exactly that will happen, absolutely nothing. If you want new jobs, you are going to go looking for new jobs.

I'm sorry if this sounded rude, aggressive, or something along those lines. This was basically just me saying I can't post because all my post would say is "Time passes as two of you nap on a ship and the third is wandering the city with no way of communicating with the others." I'm can't really post until there is something for me to post about.

As for the criminal work thing, that sounds interesting.

Personally, I'm not expecting anything like that out of you. I'm just doing what Clyde would be doing. Chilling out and wasting some time while the ship is being repaired. At the moment he doesn't have the same access to job offers as Senth and E, so he's just doing his own thing until the ship's all ready to go. Then he can regroup with the others and pretty much roll with any job that flies their way, helping where he can. Since he's probably going to be a very squishy character combat-wise, I'll be looking to focus more on skills that can support and help away from combat so others with better combat abilities and stats can take the lead.

This also means Clyde in general is more of a supporting character; He's pretty much only good for flying the ship at the moment. So you probably won't be seeing much from him unless he finds something minor to do himself, the others are ready to go, or he manages to find an interesting job while scurrying about that he'll pitch to his teammates. (I rarely get ideas that I actually like myself, so that might not even happen. Maybe I'm too harsh on myself concerning my ideas at times, but meh, I won't get into that or I'll sound like a whiny baby. >_>)

I'll try and have him do something by himself in my next post so I don't start seeming like dead weight. Maybe some computer-related issue in the store he's in front of, considering that one point in Computer he has.

For now though, I've got to go do a few things IRL. So expect that tonight, probably.

I understand that you can't do much, and I'm not trying to be like "Hey! Do something!" I'm just trying to let you guys know that I can't really post until there is an NPC, enemy, or event for me to control, so you guys keep doing stuff/posting until I'm needed.

Don't know how you'll feel about how I did my post, but I'm perfectly fine with changing anything if it bugs you or could be considered wrong. I think it's okay, though... >W>

I'm not an Expert or anything

Heh..heh...I see whatcha did there...

It's fine, but if you plan on making "quests" like this in the future, run it by me beforehand. Anyway, if you want to make a Computers roll and PM it to me or post it in OOC, we shall see what happens. (If you use your expert ability to re-roll a skill check, give me both rolls.)

My second roll due to Like A Charm, for Angst and Venom to see.

I edited my post and added the results of what happened due to my roll. I think I left this on an okay note. :P
