Luneth dropped his sword as he was pinned to the cave by his neck. As the Shade's breath stench wafted over him, he managed to gurgle out a strangled "Help."

Mina nodded when she was given the green light about using her shadows.
Several more tendrills appeared and shot towards the Shade to bind it, while her two main tendrills shot towards it to pierce its chest.

The Shade whipped away the attacks with it's tail, drawing back it's massive, clawed paw. It was about to slit Luneth's belly and throat. Hikaru managed to stagger up, but still hadn't fully recovered from earlier. "L-luneth!"

Axle slides but catches himself quickly, then in a moment decided to attack his tail, he noticed it rearing back to attack, Axle makes another attempt.

This time, the Shade is caught off guard as it's tail is sliced off. It spins around, attacking Axle, Hikaru, and Mina. "Guys!" Hikaru yells to the others. "Get ready! Here it comes!"

Luneth quickly picks up his sword, and tries to attack the beast while its attention is on the others. He jumps up into the air, and thrusts downwards, towards the beast's spine.

The Shade gets caught off guard again. Blue, translucent blood wells out of the wound as Hikaru does a breakdancing-like spin on his back, swerving at just the right pace to rake the Shade's belly with his claws and fangs. After the assault, the Shade is still standing. It bucks Luneth off, snarling at the group of four. "Guys...?" Hikaru nervously calls for the others, but refocuses on the beast in front of him.

Himeko, unnoticed by the rest of the group, takes a more stealthy approach her slim and small body allowing to reach underneath the shade. She was in a spot where it could not see her, but that didn't stop its other senses from possibly noticing her, focusing entirely on staying silent. Himeko had hoped that the others would distract it long enough for her to get to its stomach. Not knowing if she had been noticed or not, she quickly decides that speed would make this easier. Still keeping herself quiet, she sneaks underneath him attempting a slash up at his stomach with her claws.

"What! Himeko!" Hikaru yelled in astonishment, wide-eyed at the small, friendly cat's actions. The Shade erupted into a whirlwind of darkness with one final blow from Himeko.

(SO sorry if I Godmodded just then! Your attack did connect, OppositionJ, I just had the Shade die from it. Sorry, though.)

After slamming into the wall, Luneth did pretty much nothing except get up and shakily make an attempt to get near the Shade again. After the Shade exploded, he simply collapsed and breathed heavily. "Good job, Himeko..." was all he could say before blacking out.

Anxius watched the conflict happen. He had never seen such a strange creature before. It was certainly resilient, having taken so many blows from the others. Instant regret spread through him for not joining in. Still, he didn't know if these others would turn on him. He let himself relax a little and cautiously stepped out of the cave.

"I'm impressed!" He called out to the group. "Good teamwork. Could use a bit of work, but it's effective."

Hikaru stood on guard. "Who're you?" He stood in front of the strange wolf (or another animal. I forget.), snarling. His eyes took on a slight glow.

(Did I forget to mention that the Shade looks like a large panther?)

Heavy steps thudded against the forest floor, making deep depressions into the ground with every moved down the lush, emerald colored trail of grass followed. A massive wolf crept through the brush, his body stocky and muscular, armor covering his back, paws, and tail. Each step creating a small thud, the wolf's nose began to picked up a scent. Moving its powerful legs. the wolf immediately bolted toward the scent, stopping in his tracks, planting his feet with great amounts of force, the wolf eyed the group of animals in the clearing, a cold breath escaping with each exhale.

Hikaru stepped in front of Himeko. He stared at the deep, light blue eyes, determination in his voice. "Who are you?" He looked at the hyena, and back at the eyes. He was getting very defensive.
