I'm interested, my internet's just been wonky and I got hit by some work all of a sudden. I suppose using a Leo-S>F99 Record Breaker>Phantom Gundam progression will be fine? The idea is, obviously, a series high performance units focused on speed and pilot skill without a whole lot of weapons. I'd like to settle some details about them but that'll come later since I actually have to leave now. I'll put up a bio tomorrow or so.

Partially no and let me explain why: It is because the leo is a mobile suit from a different series/universe. It is a rule, or has come to be a rule, that you can't use a mobile suit group from a different series for the main portions of your fights, one off fights possibly later are an acception, Arthanus and I have already come to compromise on the rule that they don't have to be natural progressions of each other so I'll allow the last two since they are both from Mobile Suit UC Verse. However you'd need to replace the Leo since as I've said it comes from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing not UC.

Also I'd like to say I'd reconsider the suit line up in total because late game means Fin Funnel/Bits/Dragoons, Newtypes, beam spam, and elite pilots and while that is true for our side do you really want to get stood up by people like Athrun and Banagher Links end game? If you're fine with that then feel free to continue using the last suits while switching out the Leo.

If you'd like I can give you a hand. Mobile Suit Gundam X has the following suits that You'd be able to work fairly well in:

the actual progression there would be Airmaster - Swordmaster - Airmaster Burst. the Swordmaster is a all melee variation of the Airmaster which was made obsolete with the Burst

Regardless of the way it moves it is up to him to decide what he wants to do.

Anyways hope you had a great wedding and I'd also like to inform you that Silver dropped out due to personal issues.Likewise we gained Greengoat from previous roleplays. Stern has been busy leading to some afk moments.

You're going to wreck house with Gundam X. The plan is to wipe out a couple of those virgo lll's with the satellite cannon. It may seem a bit early for it but for lack of putting the Sundown itself or for Saturnalia and Reve to start murdering each other....

I'll change my opening unit to something, probably the XM-10 Flint, a limited production Crossbone downgrade, no problem I guess. I would, however, like to argue that the Phantom doesn't really need beamspam or funnels to be an endgame unit and that an elite PC pilot should be able to use it to keep up with, if not overcome, the typical overplayed endgame stuff. I'll list the reasons why below, just so we're clear and I don't get shafted later on because I have a supposedly underpowered unit. Also, if I make the unit sound ridiculous, just remember: the base V2 is superior in basically every way and has upgrades to boot.

So, the Phantom Gundam: It's a late UC unit equipped with wings of light. Even if its wings are a prototype with half of the V2's power that means absurd levels of speed and mobility. It's fast for an era where being fast was the MS design philosophy. A ship with a minovsky drive system like the one used to create the wings of light can travel between Earth and Jupiter in a few weeks, it takes regular ships months to do the same. The Phantom should easily outrun and outmaneuver everything in the PC camp with only the Destiny or trans-am 00 units being comparable, and then the Destiny is arguable since the smaller late-UC mobile suits were designed to be faster than their larger counterparts to begin with. The UC wings of light can also be employed offensively and defensively, acting as high output giant beam sabers/shields.

For weapons, other than the UC wings of light of course, it has two supercharged beam swords capable of cutting right through beam shields, which means trying to parry em with another beam saber save for, say, the Epyon's isn't going to help much, their output is that high. It also carries a pair of butterfly busters, which are double barreled beam weapons capable of switching into a beam saber mode. The Phantom can also generate its own i-field barrier which can be used to deflect VSBR shots. Not easily, mind, it takes obvious effort and doesn't really nullify it as much as it spreads it around in a bunch of lesser beams. But that still means it can create a strong enough barrier to repel a weapon designed specifically to punch through barriers.

If all that wasn't high tier enough for you, it comes equipped with a bio-computer system, which relays data directly to the pilot in the form of sensory information, so what the machine "feels" can also be experienced by the human operator. While the system is obviously superior with a newtype at the helm, even an oldtype can use it to increase their battle awareness and reaction times much like a newtype employing a regular psycommu system. So, to sum up, you get an absurdly fast machine with a decent if basic ranged option, good defenses, a pair of beamsabers that cut through stuff designed to repel beam sabers and wings of energy it can use to cut things apart as it zooms by, coupled with a pseudo-psycommu system that can even be used by oldtypes to compliment their piloting skills.

And this is still inferior to the V2, which should probably be banned. Late UC is pretty insane. I'm picking the Phantom specifically because it amounts to a failed prototype of the V2 that looks about 20 times cooler and has a melee focus to boot. Seriously it's a Crossbone-Record Breaker fusion that sprouts flames all over for its wings of light, has crazy beam swords that look like flames and has an F91-style face open cooling system. It's really cool and I'm pretty sure it can keep up with endgame machines without resorting to standard Gundam engame tactics. I can provide manga captures that show off its beamsabers, wings of light and other functions if you'd like, they're not available in gundamwikia or mahq. I can also list the reasons why a Flint should be about even with the given starting gundams if you'd like.

I read the Crossbone Gundam manga series also. I suggest the Flint as well if Vance will accept.

As long as you don't speed blitz everything I'll allow it hesitantly. It's no fun if someone out right just murders the enemy ace pilots without reprieve which is why I have removed mobile fighters and the Turns. End game I'll have a bit more room to work with since the likes of Reborns Gundam, and upgraded forms of some sort of suit can be added in to turn the tide if need be.

Sure, it was less "haha, I'mma blitz everybody" and more "hey, this thing is good for the endgame even without the typical Gundam endgame strats, here's why". Really, I'm picking it entirely because it's a bitchin-looking unit focused on speed and swords that isn't an obvious choice.

Just gotta make sure is all dude. Some people like to be the center of attention and if that means gutting everyone short of the wing boys and Amuro Ray/Char then that's what they're going to do. Of course I don't mean this to you I'm just making a general statement about some people I've encountered in previous roleplays.

Regardless make you're CS and I'll pm you the details of entering once we get something figured out.

Jason's a freaking boss bro. You don't mess with him.

Regardless I directed Green to talk to you if questions needed to be answered.

Also I want to switch to Pain for Halloween but Char doesn't want to leave my icon slot.

Worse part you know who's going to be joining us and this ships going to be filled with angsty/jerkass/serious teenage like girls. If I don't be careful this might turn out to be Paul's Angels because Gabriel would be a pedo/cradle robber if he tried to hit on any of the girls in the ship outside of the generic soldiers/pilots/workers. Not to say we'll only be getting girls it's just at the moment there's a strange majority. the only non sundown crew members on this ship are Gabriel....and Gabriel. Other than him there's Jason and Axer and Calhone.

EDIT: F91 bio done. Added some details to the Zirah and the F91 Imagine that they might not strictly have in gundamwiki but that make sense in the context of the roleplay

Character's Name: Leopold "Leo" Creighton

Character's Age: 36

Character's Gundam/Mobile Suits:
1st mobile suit: F91 Gundam F91

2nd mobile suit: XM-07G Vigna Zirah

3rd mobile suit: F91 Gundam F91 Imagine

Universe your character is from: Universal Century AU, around U.C. 0133. Rather than Cosmo Babylonia collapsing and the Crossbone Vanguard reforming as a heroic organization, Cosmo Babylonia manages to establish itself as an independent state that survives up until the rise of the Jupiter Empire. These forces and the Federation are poised to engage in a three-way war.

Link to gundam site your getting your information from: http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/The_Gundam_Wiki

Appearance: More or less exactly like this

Genetic Type: "Oldtype, Natural, Normal, however you wanna call it. Me? I say I'm gifted"

Biography:
In U.C. 0123 the organization known as the Crossbone Vanguard initiated its attack on the space colonies of the Frontier Sides with the objective of establishing the nation of Cosmo Babylonia, led by the principles of a so-called "cosmo aristocracy". The operation was initially successful thanks to the Vanguard’s advanced mobile suits and well trained pilots. Having come off a period of relative peace, the Federation was caught woefully unprepared, armed with outdated MS and many a pilot that had never seen the battlefield. The Vanguard was only pushed back thanks to the timely deployment of the F91 Gundam F91 prototype, which proved superior to the Crossbone machines and destroyed the Vanguard's flagship mobile armor, killing its leader in combat.

Leopold Creighton, aged 26 at the time, was one of the Earth Federation soldiers tasked with defending the Frontier colonies from the Vanguard's onslaught and perhaps one of the men best equipped to handle the situation. A test pilot and member of Anaheim Electronics' defense forces, the rag-tag mercenary group that would later become the League Militaire, he had been "loaned" to the Federation because of his piloting expertise and been part of the taskforces that dealt with the first and second Mars Zeon uprisings in UC 120 and 122 respectively. His combat experience, even against an outmatched foe, and his familiarity with his own machine coupled with his natural sharpshooting abilities allowed him to survive the conflict, though not without the timely arrival of the F91.

The decade that followed was quite tumultous for the Federation. Despite repelling the Vanguard the nation of Cosmo Babylonia still managed to establish itself in a captured colony, quickly becoming a thorn on the Federation's side. Even worse, the Jupiter Energy Fleet saw this as a sign of weakness and backed its own aristocratic movement, the Jupiter Empire. Seeing its woeful perfomance during the Crossbone Vanguard attack and fully expecting renewed conflicts, the Federation began hastily training new pilots and updating its arsenal, even putting the venerable F91 Gundam into limited mass production. As a distinguished survivor of the first stage in what would come to be known as the Warring Space States era, Leo was given control of the very unit that saved his life.

Leo, however, was a mercenary at heart and still under the employ of Anaheim Electronics. He had a special computer installed into his F91 with the purpose of gathering data from the unit and delivering it to Anaheim that they might produce a refined model and win favor with the Federation once more. Before this could happen, however, the three way conflict between the Federation, Cosmo Babylonia and the Jupiter Empire erupted in full in Universal Century 133. And during the opening days of the war, Leo was given a solo assignment, to scout ahead and investigate a strange signal in ostensibly empty territory...
