Atlantic City,New Jersey a crumpling,failing city full of the worst kind of people. Ever since the legalization of Gambling in other states with safer cities people have flocked from Atlantic City and into these shiner places. This has left the city without its most profitable buisness and gangs to rule them. "Villians" they are called who have left the overly choked New York City filled with "Heroes" who are on every corner have used the crumpling Atlantic City to their advantage. In a matter of just a year the police department is full of corruption all of the casinos are owned by suspicious businesses and crime is on the all time high. This you would think would make Heroes from choked cities come over to help but these are a new breed of villain who is able to keep things under warps with a simple bribe or a threat and the few people who call themselves Heroes or are not corrupt cops are being killed slowly with "accidentally shootings" or "Caught in the Crossfire" reports. The city is going into a pit that can't dig out of but something shines over it...something that could change this cesspool into a glorious future.

Welcome to Unsung Heroes a RP where you become are a superhero or a police officer who is trying to turn this city into its past self but must face dangerous challenges and the corruption of everything in Atlantic City. Below is Gangs and Villians you need to know about.

Cremisi Suits: The largest and most organized crime gang in all of the city. They formed after the Mafia decided Atlantic City wasn't profitable anymore and left however a few members didn't leave such as Frank Otto who envisioned a city ruled by him and so with just 20 members left decided to go out on the streets and get petty criminals to join the new Cremisi Suits which means "Crimson Suits" in Italian. In a few years they were able to buy the Casino "Lucky 7" and make it the base of operations for them. Soon after with a few bribes and killings they had 6 of the 8 casinos in the city with 1,600 members to spare.

Gale Knuckles: A league of gang members and villains who used to be a the most powerful gang in New Jersey,Delaware,and Maryland but with a crackdown on crime in Baltimore headquarters of the Gale most of their leaders were captured now only a small groups remain the biggest in Atlantic City who owns two casinos and are at constant war with the suits.

Police Department: Most are corrupt both the Detective department is the cleanest most likely because of the lack of cases they get when most are covered up.

Rogue Villains: Your average baddie but few are consider this now with both gangs trying to hire them to fight their fights for them.

Lets to with more of a Green Arrow kinds of power with gadgets and such but powers such as Super Strength are welcomed to as long as they aren't ridiculous in power.

could you give us some sample powers so that we have a general idea what your looking for? just trying to find an idea for a character and having trouble

Power: He is a master assassin with the latest technology. He uses goggles that can detect the slightest movement and has inferred gear to see his target. Red Slash uses shock blades and is a pro in close combat.
Bio: Little is know about Red Slash other than he joined the Suits two years ago to kill those who oppose the Suits. Red Slash is feared by Gale Knuckles due to the fact he regularly hunts line members down. Multiple hitmen have tried to kill him but all fail at the task.

Secret Identity Name:Road Buster

Appearance: Just image this as a full armor with highlights of green around it.
Power: Buster has super strength and can left things up to 900 pounds and throw them.
Bio: Blake started out as a Bouncer for local bars in Atlantic City but one night when a group of Suit goons were causing fights in the bar Blake took every single one of them on winning but he had gun and knife wounds all over his body. Blake passed out and woke up in the Gale Knuckles headquarters he found out that the Knuckles saved him but also was told he was wanted by the suits. He was offered a spot in the Knuckles and with no where else to go accepted. He now serves as a bodyguard for important people or packages that need his assistants.

a power idea i had was energy amplification. the character would be able to increase energy output on items/sources to a much higher amount. for example he would carry a lighter around and could increase the flames and intensity to make a fire sword. it would have an incredibly limited range and he would not be able to absorb or deminish energy so its mostly a strictly offensive power. would that be balanced?
