Bio – Bregil was born to a elven father and a human mother who died shortly after child birth. Unable to cope with the death of his wife, her father re-married an elven woman and largely ignored Bregil until he sent her to live with her grandparents who lived in a cottage on the edge of the forest. Her grandparents rejected the lifestyle of the elvish elite and taught her the ancient ways of balance and nature. Her grandfather was a restorative mage and her grandmother was a druid and at a young age she realized she was also gifted with magical abilities. With the help of her grandmother, Bregil learned advanced alchemy techniques, but disappointed her grandmother when she decided to be a restorative mage instead of a druid, despite her love for nature.
Bregil would often spend weeks and months living in the forest, gathering herbs and plants for her grandmother and becoming friends with the animals. On one occasion, she came across a young wolf that was injured and clinging on to life. Using her restorative powers, she nursed him back to health and he refused to leave her side. She named him Faervel and they learned to work together to find things in the forest. Her grandfather reluctantly taught her to use a longbow to fend off the dark creatures in the forest.
Soon, her abilities outpaced that of her grandmother and grandfather and people would travel from distant parts of Simonde to purchase her potions and elixirs. One day, a stranger came to their door and delivered a strange letter that required her attendance in Esterfell. Worried that her grandfather would be requested if she didn't go, and longing for some adventure, Bregil headed toward the unknown.
