Goodness guys, slow down the pace a little bit. Some of us have to sleep. And work.

I hate roleplays like this because my character is always left behind and or ignored.

Right now its okay because we're just in the inn but when adventure starts its really going to suck.

Agreed. Seeing how Heat has a job, I don't think it's going to move too fast. At least, the plot anyways. :)

Sometimes more, sometimes less. Remember you're only a small part of this roleplay and if people are lagging behind because you post seven or eight times a day while people are working or sleeping, well they may just drop out. Ironically sometimes posting too much can cause a roleplay to die out.

Just have some patience, find another roleplay to be part of that's more fast paced, write things other than roleplay, there's lots of things you can do to fill up your time while you wait.

Definitely on board with this. I have a hard time playing in really fast-paced RPs, especially because the Guild's busy hours seem to be between, like, midnight and six in the morning in my time zone. I either have to play catch-up with twenty posts every time I post (meaning fuckin' huge posts that take forever to write) or ignore a lot of the action. Makes it really tough to enjoy.

I see it the other way around. I lose interest if I have to wait days in order to participate. I'm used to posting a lot per day and feel like it's easier to get to know a group of writers when you spend a lot of time together. But thats just me. We'll see how it goes but i already know I'll get extremely lost by the time I can post again.

I agree as well. ^_^ The same thing always happens to me and I can't keep up with even sometimes OOC discussions because I have a lot of advanced classes that require a lot of my time and attention then I don't get to know people as well as people who are more active, making me feel alienated.

It's okay. You rather have people who can manage the speed. Plus there has bee. Some others who are eager to join. I don't mind giving them my spot. (:

Please don't leave on account of activity, I am sure that when the GM comes on, we can find a happy medium. I am fine with making one-to-two posts a day.

I'll speak to the gm about it, but I don't want to be stuck in a position that doesn't benefit others or myself. Like I said, there are others who would fill my position as well.

Yeah, of course. No reason to stay in an RP with a posting frequency you're not comfortable with. Could be those of us who can't/don't post more than once a day are in the minority. We'll see ^_^

Alright I'm back. I'm not big on post counts or a real order but my advice to help slow it down is if your character is speaking with another, just make a convo through PMs so you don't have to burn through like ten posts all because of a conversation. I've found that RPs always explode at the start with posts and then slow down as it moves along, so I figure the same thing will happen here.

I'll be appointing a Co GM (or two) to help things go along when I'm unavailable. I don't really have any people chosen for that, I'll take any volunteers the only real rule is that you have to be able to stay active.

I'm really, really, active...
But I don't know how well I will be able to continue the plot,so on that account, I may not be the greatest Co.GM....
