Personality: Generally a kind and polite person though often seems to lack the confidence to approach others, however she is keen to overcome this and always tries to make new friends. She is almost always in a happy mood though she sometimes struggles to show it and will try to put a smile on the face of anyone she thinks is upset.

Bio\History: Katie was born in a small village near the Scottish border to two magical parents, both with a family tree reaching far back into the history of magic. Her mother worked for the ministry often working along side the aurors and her father was a wand maker who she spent a lot of time learning from and even aspired to work with him after her time at Hogwarts. Other than her parents her only other close family was her older brother who had recently finished Hogwarts and left the country to see the world and study muggle life.

During her childhood she would spend most of her time doing chores and reading through her brothers school books to learn about all the different things Hogwarts had to offer; then in her free time she would go for walks or attempt to practice charms, even though the most she could do was move things around a little bit or if she really tried she could sometimes make things disappear for a little bit.

When she turned eleven, though she expected her invitation, she was very excited to find out she had been accepted to Hogwarts school and began planning and packing within the hour (even though she wasn't due there for weeks). When the day arrived she took the floo network to Diagon alley with her Father, she was lucky the went early because they spent almost an hour just looking for the books she needed and just as long looking for robes. When they arrived on platform 9 3/4 and was about to say goodbye to her father he then handed her a wand he had made for her himself using wood from a cherry tree they had grew in the garden and the feather from a phoenix they saw on a trip to Ireland.

During her time at Hogwarts Katie had always tried her best in every subject and though she was often called a disappointment by her potions master she usually did well in her other classes and did exceptionally well in charms class and defence against the dark arts class.

Notable skills: Well educated in wand lore, proficient in charms and spells due to her father being a wand maker. She also has a reasonable knowledge of magical creatures.
