I have to say, now that I've been studying all of your characters for a bit, that you guys all astound me with your creativity and your writing prowess. I am humbled and honored to have drawn you all here, and I only hope this RP can live up to expectations. Please do voice any questions/thoughts/concerns/ideas, shout and squeal and object! This is your story, after all.

After counting all approved characters and everyone who's expressed interest, there could potentially be 16 characters in play. I expect not everyone will follow through (as is the norm) but that's still a lot. You all are amazing, so I'm not worried, but I think it might be wise to divide you up into four teams of four.

If anyone specifically wants to be in the same team as anyone else, feel free to decide that among yourselves and let me know! Otherwise they'll be assigned. :)

Hato Shirudo

Age: 17

Appearance Specs:
Standing at 5’7”, Hato is pretty lanky for his age. In comparison to most, his build lacks physical aptitude, is frail overall, and weighs at only 105 lbs. This blatantly contradicts his diet, being quite glutton when it comes to food, he has what could be perceived as a bottomless pit of a stomach. His athletic capabilities aren’t that much of a priority, as he spends a majority of his time delved into his studies, so he definitely looks the part. His hair is dyed with pigments which are nearly impossible to wash off, making their maintenance an easy task.

Occupation: Astronomer

Personality: Hato has a constant, calm and cool charisma floating around him, and it follows wherever he goes. Keeping a blank complexure even in the face of unfathomable danger, he relies on self-deduction and analysis as his choice of armament. Guided by common sense, he can come to a logical decision within a matter of seconds. This assists him dearly in his studies, since a majority of the field is based on speculation and the adept techniques of observation. But working in the line of astronomy, one must put up a proper and legitimate argument to support a case, in the chance that there are those who oppose it. To say the least, his icy cold narrowed stare is enough to make a debater stand down.

Bio: A child’s behavior is developed from experiences with their parents and the world around them. Those who brought said child into existence have an immense influence, and can turn or lead them down a certain path. His parents were strict, had a legitimate thought process, and always found a resolve. Perhaps they molded him into the person he is today. Though, their personalities held no worth, as they had barely any income whatsoever. And with being poor, was the feeling of being on part with discarded and used trash. With his frivolous existence served on a silver platter stained with grime, he had to make something out of nothing. A mountain out of a molehill. An impossible goal, that is. Well, his parents proved useful by amassing enough money to send him to a school of questionable demeanor. Even in such a rundown institution, in the middle of an ocean of imbeciles, Hato shined like a brilliant, vibrant, saint. It was as if he was humanity’s saving grace, the one to lead out out of the dark age of stupidity.

With his intellect, he found his abilities most employable in an untouched field. To take a step into unknown terrain was unheard of, since one didn’t know what was in store. The boy delved into astronomy, committing his time to studies on his own accord and paycheck. He published his works, and soon became renowned within the town, and soon the entire region. There were those who waited on hand and foot for even a glimpse of his findings. Even with a gloomy upbringing, his brilliant still shined. He continued to conduct his research, and enlightened those around him.
