Hey, I have a couple of ideas for a casual free-form group roleplay in a fantasy setting, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to do one of those.

Alright.

None of my ideas are really solid except for one:

The roleplay would be about low-level warriors who have potential to be great fighters. Each character would eventually become as powerful as a weak god, but they have to get over many trials and train blah blah blah. There would be no immediate plot, leaving the first quarter of the story to establish the characters and their individual goal, as well as leveling them up to at least level ten. Afterwards, it would pretty much be up to the players to decide what the plot should be and what should happen.

As I said, the rest of my ideas are pretty much liquid, so they're not as thought out as this one.

I'll list them anyway:

Another fantasy-based idea I had was about some people in an army who are fighting an evil army that threatens to destroy the world. The only thing I got out of writing this one was that the evil general's name was Nox and that he was pretty evil.

This next one is more western than anything. I based it off of Cowboy Bebop and then added an extra layer of cosmic magic. The world is based in the future, but instead of going forward with technology, we kept going with the stuff we had. One night in the year 2085, a mysterious light granted five children a mysterious star shaped mark n a random body part. These children forgot about how they got the mark and moved on with their lives. Skip forward twenty years to a time when bounty hunting has become a famous job again, and where more of these star marks keep showing up. Reports of people with star marks being murdered have been piling up on the desks of policemen, all of the cases being linked back to the abandoned Starbit candy factory...

If you can make sense of the last one, it could probably be a great roleplay.

I'm interested in the first two. If you need a savage, tribal warrior-type character, I can do that.

If you want to be a tribal warrior, go ahead. I have no limits for what character you are as long as it makes sense.

Personally, I like fantasy group adventures, like Dungeons and Dragons. Anywhere where a group of random people band up to defeat a common enemy.

I used to roleplay in Free a lot because there was a general lack of rules as to how posts should be. I mostly did fantasy and modern day supernatural. What I noticed in those is that there is a surprising lack of humans. This carries on to the new site's casual section where pretty much everyone wants to be an elf or something pretty like that, but not the strong but ugly orc, or the destructive but well-meaning human. What they want is the elf for obvious reasons. Sure, I like elves if they're played right, but most of the time they're not.

This was the main reason I chose the only humans rule. The other reason was because of my many inspirations for the first idea. The original Dragon Ball series, HunterXHunter, Toriko, One Piece, and then there's Edguardo and a Guy Called Squid. The only constant in these is bad-ass humans who get an awesome power boost after they learn of thing that is gr8.

I will make a few exceptions to the only humans rule if you PM me about your character, because I'm a nice guy, you just have to give me a perfectly good reason to why your character looks-like/is an elf/orc/gnome

Now that we have a good group of people. Who wants me to start a thread and get this whole thing going?

I wouldn't mind joining in if you'd let me.
However, because of a few personal matters I can't promise that I'll be able to post often, and if this is going to rely on heavy involvement from everyone I'd understand if you wouldn't want me participating. I'd also be comfortable with a minor role as long as I'm staying up to date on major events.

It is going to rely on heavy involvement, but if you can't post all that often, that's fine. As long as your character isn't stuck in one place for too long, or as long as you don't stop posting in the middle of important battles or raids, then you're fine.
