"On the clearest of nights, when the winds of the Etherium were calm and peaceful, the great merchant ships, with their cargoes of Arcturian sura crystals, felt safe and secure. Little did they suspect that they were pursued by pirates! And the most feared of all these pirates was the notorious Captain Blackfire. Like a Candarian zap-wing ovetaking its prey, Blackfire and his band of renegades swooped in out of nowhere, gathering up their spoils and then vanished without a trace. Blackfire's secret trove was never found, but stories have persisted that it remains hidden somewhere at the fathest reaches of the galaxy, stowed with riches beyond imagination--the loot of a thousand worlds--Treasure Planet. There are nights when the winds of the Etherium so inviting in their promise of flight and freedom made one's spirit soar!"
-Jeffery Skin, an old drunk spacer
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....STAR WARS: THE SEARCH FOR TREASURE PLANETDuring a time of war, the Sith Empire attacked the Republic capital of Coruscant in what became known as the Sacking of Coruscant and forced the Republic to accept the Treaty of Coruscant, ending the war and beginning a tense Cold War. The Republic and the Jedi Order rebuild and recover, while the Empire secured the territory gained during the war and began rebuilding their war machine in preparation for the inevitable resumption of hostilities. The tensions between the Empire and the Republic have begun to boil over, and proxy and side conflicts occurring across the galaxy only serve to inflame these hostilities.
Not all are affected by war, many neutral parties seek profit in these dark times through their own means. It is a time of great danger amongst the trade routes. Piracy is at large. Blackfire, one of the most feared space pirates captains of all time, has left of legacy of looting merchant ships and spoils of a thousand worlds buried from the galaxy. He hid all of his vast wealth from his crew, and only entrusted the location of the treasure to his first mate, Jeffery Skin, in command of the Blackfire Armada.
Aaray Reem, a young Mandalorian, cutthroat pirate and Skin's first mate, began to stir mutiny which divided Blackfire's pirate armada. After an epic, space battle, which destroyed most the fleet, Reem defeated Skin's loyalist faction and reformed what remained into her own. Jeffery Skin narrowly escaped the chaos with his life and the holo-chart which has the location to Blackfire's treasure. Skin fled to the Montressor Sector and vanished from the galaxy. Having spent most of her time searching for the treasure of Blackfire, Captain Reem has vowed to hunt down Jeffery Skin. Reem has placed a bounty on Skin's head and a reward for any mercenary to join her Pirate gang in search of the hidden treasure of Blackfire.
Bent on revenge, Reem dispatched her pirate fleet to pursue Skin beyond the known galaxy, through wild space to the planet Montressor. Deploying her forces to the mining world with one mission find Skin and obtain the holo-map....

She can be very blunt at times. Like most true and honorable Mandalorians she values family, honor, and duty above everything else, but greed is her passion. Ray loves the hunt and treasure. She in adventurer and enjoys seeing new worlds and cultures. She doesn't like to fool around and idiots tend to piss her off, like most femandos... you don't want to be around her when she's pissed--all mando hell breaks loose.
Biography: Bright, energetic, attractive, but tough as nails—Aaray was born and raised on Basilisk by her Mandalorian parents. Aaray was trained as a Mandalorian warrior. Her father taught her to be one of quickest fighters. She never let her gender hinder her (often outmatching males). She is a skilled marksmen and great gunslinger. A veteran of many Mandalorian strikes/battles, she served in the Mandalorian Cavalry for 8 years. After the war, she became a mercenary doing business for the Black Sun--mostly as an agent and assassin. She has entered several fight clubs and shooting matches in the Outer Rim, and has won many. She is the reigning gunslinger on Nar Shaddaa. Recently she took on bounty hunting, she has done work for the Sith, Republic, and several criminal and private organizations. She is engaged to a Journeyman Protector and famed Bounty Hunter—Aran Fett. Aran's long dangerous hunts inspired her to take on deadly contracts. Aran's skill at killing the legendary Jedi Knights reached the ears of Imperial Intelligence who offered him triple his usual price. With an offer that big, Aran began his career as an Imperial Special Agent.
It was Aran's career which caused the Sith to look into more Mandalorian recruits. Aaray accepted the offer as soon as the Imperials contacted her, but to her disappointment, Intelligence Command separated the two because of their intimate relationship. Aran was posted as an Imperial asset on Coruscant. She was assigned with a mission to track and kill missing, rouge Sith Lord. Aaray—under a mercenary alias—robbed a Republic bank and was captured by Mygeeten and Republic authorities, although her loot was never found. She was sentenced to life in a maximum prison for over two dozen crimes--piracy, theft, murder. She escaped her flight to prison--and took on jobs for the Sith—but was shortly captured by sector authorities after assassinating a Republic Judge for a Hutt lord.
Ray ended up rotting in a solitary confinement cell on a Neutral Sector Authority Prison ship...but all to her plans of finding her target: the rouge Sith Lord--who also was imprisoned on the ship. While on the ship, weird things began to happen. Creatures, monsters, and zombies began to run rampant on the ship. She found and killed her target, but she found herself surrounded by unknown deathly forces of evil... Finding a group of survivors, she began to help search for a way out...even if it meant ditching her new "friends." One of the survivors, a Gand bounty hunter named Osgyl, befriended Ray and grew close to her--which developed into a infatuation. She withheld her Imperial agenda from him, and once the truth was revealed the Gand felt betrayed. Ray left the group not wanting anything to do with them, only to find the source of all the evil chaos--a cult of Darksiders who were using mind tricks to create "monsters." Ray fought the Darksiders but she was no match alone, so she fled for her life.
Wounded and left for dead by the Darksiders, Ray was found by Osgyl who cared for her, and eventually helped her face the Darksiders with the rest of the survivors which turned into a dramatic firefight. Ray managed to ensure the deaths of the Darksiders by opening an hangar airlock, but she injured herself in the process which led her into a serious coma. Osgyl tended Ray while the rest of the group found a ship which they could escape.
After leaving a heartbroken but glad Gand to see Ray resign from the Imperial Intelligence, she went back to bounty hunting and search for Aran—who apparently vanished after refusing an order to kill innocent people. Ray took a job to take in a rouge Republic scientist where she allied herself with a rouge Jedi and mercenery named Judas. She fell in love with the bounty hunter, and the two formed a partnership.
Ray eventually learned that Aran was taken by the Republic and experimented on by an insane biological weapons expert. Ray rounded up her friends and plead to her people. With Mandalore's aid, Ray lead a Mandalorian taskforce on the Sith compound which held her lover. In battle both her lover Judas and former lover Aran were killed by Republic forces. Reem lead a charge that killed every Republic soldier at the facility. Tired of the Republic and Sith, Ray turned to piracy. She was recruited by the ledgendary Blackfire Armada led by Blackfire himself. Heartbroken from the loss of her lovers along with her newfound love of piracy changed Ray into a dark new person. Greed was her only passion. Ray quickly rose through the chain as an aspiring pirate lieutenant, and one of Blackfire's favorites; but the old pirate died from old age.
Jeffery Skin took leadership and named Reem his first mate, but the old captain didn't forsee the mutiny that Reem would bring. Reem spread rebellion and lead a revolt against Skin's leadership. A huge battle took place with the divided armada. Reem's faction won, but Skin escaped and with the location of Blackfire's treasure. Reem spends all her effort into tracking down Skin and finding the fabled Treasure Planet. She was given the nickname, "Pirate Queen".
Ray's current whereabouts are unknown, but she isn't someone to mess with...especially if you are rich.
= The Pirate Queen

-(my character)- (goes by "Ray") Mandalorian, pirate captain, 'The Pirate Queen'
Name: Ganar Jendri
Nickname: "Jendri's Mountain"
Species/Race: Houk
Gender: Male
Home Planet: Nar Hekka
Age: 38
Height: 6'11"
Weight: 450 lbs (With armor)
Hair Color/Style: None
Facial Appearance: Appears fairly typical for a Houk, his skin a mix of a peach color and turqoise.
Eye Color: Blue
Body Appearance: Again, typical for a Houk, being extremely broad at the shoulders and thick in the torso, a build of almost pure muscle.
Allegiance: Mandalorians/Captain Reem
Profession: Mercenary
Armor: Customized Mandalorian armor, gray with brown and yellow highlights.
Primary Weapon(s): Vibrosword, wrist-mounted flamethrower.
Secondary Weapon(s): Disruptor pistol, tazer and explosive darts, smart-rope.
Miscellaneous Item(s): assortment of tools, gear, weapons
Personality: Most agree that Ganar is one of the perfect examples of a Mandalorian warrior, being strong of character and honor, showing little mercy to his foes and revering his Mandalore and aliit. He lacks the inclination towards stealth held by most of his species, prefering an open fight and a straight-forward objective. While he cares for his fellow Mandalorians and those few that have earned the right to be called burc'ya, he does not hold these feelings for the many honorless mercenaries he has to work with, and generaly regards them as expendable.
Biography: There isn't too much to be said about this piece of work. Born and raised on Nar Hekka, Ganar spent most of his childhood and teenage years in slavery. Like many of his species, he was kept by the Hutts as a one-being work detail, and later a gladiator when he grew old enough to lift a blade. His circumstances changed when he was found by a bounty hunter from the Mandalorian clan Jendri during a raid on his owner's palace. The young Houk aproached the hunter and demanded that he be allowed to leave with him and be taught to live as a Mandalorian. He was, and over the next ten years begun his education in his new culture. Shortly after his final blooding, he served in his first battle at the Hydian Way Blockade, where he was credited with destroying five Jedi fighters in as many minutes. When the blockade was broken, he scattered like most of the others in the wake of Mandalore the Lesser's disgrace, pursuing a career as an indepentent mercenary for the next several years.
Eventualy he found his way into the service of the Blackfire Armada, where he served under Captain Reem. Not surprisingly, he sided with his fellow Mandalorian in the mutinity, and quickly came to be her first mate. He now leads the pirates and mercenaries under his command in the search for Skin, aming to take both his skull and the chart to present to his captain.
-(The Whacko)- Mandalorian pirate, Reem's First Mate
Name: Henry Lightinger
Species/Race: Human
Gender: Male
Home Planet: Coruscant
Age: 31
Equipment:
- Black Nebula Heavy Blaster
- FN-57s Holdout Blaster
Personality:
Biography: Henry Lightinger was born on Coruscant to a wealthy merchant family. As a founding member of the Trade Guild Henry's family were well known among the Republic elite, affording him the rights to purchase decomissioned warships like the Hammerhead-class Cruiser as part of their merchant fleet.
Though it was expected of him to continue in his father's legacy, Henry had ambitions towards the media. With an eye for details, and an uncanny ability to see things other missed, Henry sought education in journalism. Soon becoming a rising star of HNN Henry received what would have been his first big break, though soon became his down fall. Following the story of corruption within the Senate Henry discovered a secret imperial order working to subvert the Republic from the inside.
His efforts at exposing the infiltration did not go un-noticed however. An Emperor's Hand organized a plot to assassinate the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, with Henry Lightinger fingered as a Sith infiltrator. Following a false lead Henry came to an apartment where the kidnapped Republic leader already laid dead, another victim of the Emperor's Hand. In a struggle with the Sith Henry lost his left hand to a lightsaber.
Henry was forced to flee when Sith-controlled members of the Republic began a witch hunt for the imperial spy that assassinated the Supreme Chancellor. A man hunt finally ended in Rishi where both Republic troopers and Sith cornered Henry in a small freighter. In one final effort to escape Henry deployed in an escape pod just moments before his ship had been destroyed. Believing him dead his pursuers left the place as a grave site to what the Republic would see as the biggest Imperial agent discovered thus far.
Henry's escape pod was discovered by a group who referred themselves as the Carnival of Crime. At first its members wished to turn Henry in for a reward, but his knowledge and access to Trader Guild information led to a string if robberies that helped cement his value to the Carnival of Crime. With his life secured Henry began to think of retribution against the Empire for his fall. Instead of accepting a prosthetic for his missing hand Henry adopted a Songsteel hook as a reminder of the cost of his own ignorance.
During one of their raids on a Trader Guild convoy Henry saw his father's old ship, the Endurance. Seeing a new opportunity for his life Henry organized the Carnival of Crime and captured the cruiser. With a newly rearmed Cruiser in his hands Henry turned the petty gang into a full fledged Pirate gang, striking out at imperial shipments. It was douring such a raid that Henry obtained an encrypted data disk, shedding the first solid light on the lost treasure.
