One thing I feel I should address about that post:

Adrian's prior knowledge of Arthur's abilities only goes as far as the fact that he's really fast, fairly durable, and can electrocute via touch. He wouldn't know anything about the ability to guide electrical current, and he never actually saw how he responds to attacks. Arthur attacked first in their last encounter and didn't stop until Adrian was defeated, and the whole encounter lasted only a couple seconds, at most, so there wasn't a lot to analyze in the aftermath.

I'm not asking you to edit, but you've brought up the prior knowledge thing several times now and I feel I need to caution you against bringing up anything else beyond what Adrian actually saw and experienced in their last fight, like you just did in that post.

Adrian knows the man can emit electricity even if it is only through touch. Arthur is touching water the werewolf is touching water. Water is a conductor Eevie can fly the werewolf cannot. He could have inferred that from what he knows of the man. Also he has been in hell for a long time with the memory of his defeat branded into him im sure he has had a lot of time to analyze how he lost.

How he lost? Sure. How Arthur fights now? Not so much. Back then, Arthur was bold and brash and charged in headfirst the first chance he got. He was devious and didn't care about honor or respect for his opponent. Now he's an entirely different animal. He observes, calculates, and thinks before he acts. He gives his opponents a chance instead of going all out straight from the gate. He's more cautious but also more cunning. The man Adrian is fighting now is very, very different from the one he fought before, and if that doesn't confuse Adrian, it would at least cause him to re-evaluate what he thinks he knows.

I'm just asking that you be more prudent about the reasoning behind Adrian's actions. If he went after Gregor because he inferred that it would be possible for Arthur to electrocute him through the water, then write that. Don't write that he remembers how Arthur fights and use that as the reason when he never saw Arthur display the fighting style and cadence he's using here.

Even i agree it's a questionable move. But if you deem it valid, Schradinger, i shall go along.

I never deemed it valid, I just said I won't contest it. I still think there are much better ways to go about saving Gregor, especially since there's also theissue of the chains somehow instantly reforming and traversing the space between Arthur and Gregor, which was not Insignificant.

I dunno man, maybe we should discuss it. I'm grateful for being saved and all, but it's quite clearly a case of metagaming-to-make-up-for-lower-powerlevel-syndrome.

Now, from a tactical perspective, if Arthur tries to electrocute someone but misses, does he still have to recharge or can he just... reabsorb the electricity? If the latter, this save doesn't even really get us anywhere. And that's even assuming that the attack is already underway when Adrian picks up Gregor, which is unlikely considering the speed of electricity.

Thus, saving me might very well leave Evvie in a temporary 1v1 against an Arthur who still has a 1-hit kill electrocution available, whereas not saving me would actually leave Arthur vulnerable without his most powerful weapon. Just something for Drall to consider.

@Green, if you get a white page after posting, just close the page, that should prevent double posting. At least, that's what i assume happened.

The amount of electricity required to make someone's heart sieze isn't actually that much. Arthur was going to give Gregor a higher dose anyway, considering his supernatural status, but still not anywhere near his full output.

That said, Evvie is a bit of a different problem than Gregor, since she's got that nifty energy armor which Arthur assumes is non-conductive (as he does with any armor that isn't obviously metal). Still, saving you does leave her in a temporary one on one, and as you said, that's not a good idea.

Edit: regarding re-absorption, the electricity doesn't just disappear if he releases it. It's still electricity and if he gives up control it will take the path of least resistance to ground itself, which in the absence of any other conductive targets in the water would be right back to Arty. So unless there's something else for that energy to get expended on, most of it would probably return to him. Though again, the amount he used was negligible when taking his full power into account so getting it back doesn't really affect anything.

Evvie's armor turns into the armor from the gauntlet. The energy release to form her armor goes away. She also neglected forming the boots for comfort. This happens to be the one situation I think of where that could be a major mistake. Edit: although her armor would indeed conduct electricity anyways so it doesn't matter

There's no guarantee she knows water conducts electricity (in this reincarnation) so someone has to warn her for her to fly away.

Well if she's standing in the water, she'd probably get a small jolt from the dispersing electricity that didn't hit Gregor (if that's still what's going to happen).

He's an upper end Tier 3 character, but as he is he's entirely acceptable. I'll add him to the list.
