Hello everyone. I have been on this site for about 4 months and the one RP i wanted was alas nowhere to be found, The Elder Scrolls. i have many ideas for free roam or quests with guilds and locations. So who would like to be in this RP.

But, before I commit to this, I'd like some more details. Maybe share some of your ideas?

well first off, what time period suits everyone? after the dragonborns death, still using skyrim, tamriel and marrowind?

It's Morrowind, not Marrowind. Can be confusing, I know, especially with so much bone used for everything there :P I'm fine for any of the time periods of those three games, but keeping it to Skyrim or Oblivion would probably make it easier on people who are newer to the series. I played Morrowind for like three years, I know that game inside and out.

Maybe just keep Skyrim intact, what I mean by that is that the civil war is still going strong and the dragons are still flying around. Other then that I recommend including the contents of the Dawnstar DLC, with the vampire clans and the Dawnguard.

So one idea was that you can join any faction the already pre exists, create youre own even solo it. Dadric artificats can negotiated and obviously everyone will be nooby or have SOME background combat training

Well, unless you want one of the players to control the Dragonborn character. (I wouldn't mind doing that actually.) Or, we can go with that the Dragonborn might currently be at Solstheim to deal with Miraak. And that the remnants of the dragons resurrected by Alduin and the dragons that were in hiding are still roaming around.

That will be far to chaotic and it will get boring quickly, you need some structure in the Roleplay.

It would probably be best if we kept Dragonborn stuff out of the RP- They're supposed to be super rare, and having a bunch of them running around would be improbable to the point of straining belief. Might be better to just leave the Dragonborn in the background as much as possible. I mean, we can still kill dragons, we just can't consume their souls to learn shouts.

Though it might be an interesting source of conflict, now that I think about it—could be that there's a bounty out for dragon souls, captured the way one would normally soul trap a creature. This would make us rivals of the Dragonborn in a way, we're also killing dragons but he's not getting any power from it, even if he comes across their corpses later.

Also, us having access to Daedric artifacts could be interesting, and it's easy enough to say that in this timeline the Dragonborn just never got them. We could actually be a group that the Daedric Princes are using as instruments of chaos and change in the world. Might even be the reason we're a group at all.

If we're doing that, I call being the agent of Nocturnal :D

That is an interesting idea, but if there is a dragonborn i think he should be in the background not really interfearing with the RP. He could come and help with quests and such and you can run into him maybe see him fight?

Agent of nocturnal.... nightingales right?

You need to understand that the Deadric Lords only ever talked to the Dragonborn because he was so powerfull and special, a normal Human or Beast race would easily be corrupted or tricked rather then gaining any benefits or free will.

That was what I was thinking, him randomly showing up to battle a dragon or slay a beast. Or possibly interfining in the civil war.

Well i kind of my character set up as evil villain. You see this may annoy you people but i want my character to be an illusionest and i want at some point, that he ends up controlling the king in the war and making him do his bddings, we could also do competitions to fight for the right of the throne or overthrow the current king

Structure, structure before you think of anything else. To much ''free roam'' will become very chaotic and cause a downwards spiral, I suggest you create a private conversation wtih me and Primal if he/she wants to participate in discussing some things.
