Since it seems that nobody else is joining, I'm now opening the floor to people who have been accepted to make 2nd characters. These 2nd characters must play an alignment that is not yet taken.

Just a short question about my God.
How exactly do the natural spirits work? I guessed the would be control of plant life, but Amlia has also a ability of that kind. Is it the same only with offensive capabilities, like thorns, or how does it work?
Of course my character can also speak with the spirits, ask them what they can see etc.?

The natural spirits Ozgur's disciple can communicate with inhabit the very world itself, they are naturally friendly toward you, and you can command them to control environmental effects such as weather, with much more powerful spirits being able to control things like lightning storms, hail, etc. But the spirit's willingness to obey you depends on your favor, and you can't force them to do anything, only compel them. Other spirits can possibly inhabit animals or plant life, which can let you speak to and befriend those living things as well. With animals, it's fairly obvious that you can have them fight with you, and as for plants, it's similar to Amlia's Fae ability but primarily offensive.

I'd like to join. I can have a CS up this afternoon, and it'd be for Optus.
One question though, it says that it is faster to change to and from softer materials, so would changing a slightly hard material to something soft like clay first and then a hard material be faster than going straight to a harder material?

The softness/hardness of a material is simply a way of balancing the power. Basically, you'll have an easier time working with or working into more malleable substances. The scenario you described is a two step process, going from something slightly hard, possibly gold, into something soft like clay, and then from that same clay to something much harder, possibly iron. Since it's two steps, "gold > clay > iron" will take longer than to go from gold straight to iron. Individually, each step itself might not be very taxing in time or energy, though. Transmuting in one direction "soft to hard or hard to soft" won't take any more time or energy than the other, the requirements depend on the overall malleability of both types of substances. Gold > clay will be easier and quicker than clay > iron because while both transmutations involve clay, iron is harder and less malleable than gold. Additionally, something like clay <--> rubber would be a very easy transmutation compared to steel <---> stone.

The ability also only applies to "naturally" inanimate objects, and only within the same state of matter. Any solid you wish to transmute can only be changed into other solids, liquids to liquids, and gases to gases. Higher states of matter (liquids and gasses) will be tougher to work with because they are on the opposite extreme to substances like iron, they are very loose and fluid, with gas molecules being almost completely independent from each other. It's still possible though, a highly favored disciple could turn water into wine for entertainment, or poison the air of his enemies by turning it into carbon monoxide. The ability to transmute naturally inanimate substances plays will with your Construct ability, more often than not your construct will be made of stone or concrete, based on what's around when you cast it. A highly favored disciple can use Midas to transform his stone or wood construct into metals like iron and steel, since the substances involved are naturally inanimate.

Well wood is different because it's made of biological matter since it's technically the cells of a plant.

Also, forgot to mention that I finished my character.

I meant that transmuting wood is different than other "inanimate" materials because it's technically made of (once) living matter.

Name: Aster Varia

Sex: Female

Age: 21

Appearance:

Personality: Aster is a good friend to have. Should someone she cares about ever be in trouble, she will go to the ends of the earth, and a step beyond, to pull them back. Despite caring and having strong opinions, wanting to be involved, Aster keeps herself distant from other peoples' problems. She values freedom and free will above all else. She'll see someone making a mistake, and she'll let them continue on with their way. Every person should be free to make their own mistakes in life, what they learn from those mistakes is up to them. Conversely, it is a mistake to get on Aster's bad side, as she will hold a grudge, and her retribution is oftentimes worst than the original offense. Aster likes taking time to just be alone and think about stuff every once in a while.

Bio: Aster was born in Florida, where she grew up. Aster was raised by two wonderful parents who treated her like a person instead of a child. They let her make choices for herself and suffer the consequences or reap the rewards of her own decisions. Aster did very well throughout school, which surprised many who simply judged her based on how she chose to dress and act. She outgrew the attitude for the most part, but she liked the style so much that she kept it and evolved in into her own thing. She always managed to hang out with groups of interesting people throughout her school years, and it was one of those groups that introduced her to the wonderful world of graffiti art. From that introductory adventure she went on to study art as a whole. Aster is currently studying digital art in college while continuing her graffiti art as a side project. One was a little less likely to pay than the other.

I'm sorry but the personality you went with (and picture) is about as big of a contrast to Optus as I can think of.

Lawful Neutral Ideology

Give that a read, it'll help you make a CS more fitting for that path.

I was kind of thinking that she was going to deny her god, either right away or after going along with the master plan for a little bit. There was nothing in the OP that indicated that the gods' alignment had any effect on the person's choice of whether or not to chose it.

"However, those who do not earn favor, either by apathy or direct violation of their god will find themselves weakened. Their powers will dwindle and eventually vanish, leaving them vulnerable. But perhaps there is a purpose for forsaking your god..."

That last line seems interesting to me, and no one else seemed to be going against their alignment.

I can can scrap her if you want. No big prob.

That's true, but I would find it highly unlikely that Optus himself would even offer her his contract.

Name: Evette "Eve" Lastar

Sex: Female

Age: 17

Personality: Evette is... hard to like, and that's putting it nicely. She puts on an air of confidence that is hard for others to see past, and almost always comes off as haughty and arrogant. She sees most everything as beneath her attention and would rather order others around than doing something herself. She doesn't deal with embarrassing situations or surprises well at all.

Bio: Evette was born in northern Europe, but her family moved soon after to France, where she grew up and spent the first thirteen years of her life. Eve's family had money, a lot of it, and she grew up in opulence. High-class doesn't even begin to cover the lifestyle she is used to. Due to her parents frequently having to work and be away for long periods of time, she is used to being alone. Her parents know that they aren't around enough to raise their daughter well and feel guilty enough to let her do anything she wants though. Whenever they return home, they always remember to bring her gifts and tell her stories about the places they've come from. Eve loves her parents dearly, never once holding their absences against them.

One question though. What does it mean "to expand the reach of sentient life across their plane"?

It's just terminology of the contract. It's written broadly so that it may apply to whomever accepts it. Where something like "advance human government" might not sit will with someone who isn't human.

All of the Gods are extradimensional, they can freely travel between different universes, and allow the dominant sentient life of that universe to spread their ideals. It just so happens that they have now come to our Human world of Earth.
