Ah, right. The Grail System will be slightly distinct from the standard Fuyuki one, so Eastern Heroes and non-Hassan Assassins are ultimately acceptable.

Hmm, that's a pretty large ban-list already o.O

Any objections to me taking Lancer as Lubu or Vlad the Impailer? if not maybe Ajax the greater as Bezerker?

Well, that's almost all because of mechanics, we need to stay consistent with the rules of the universe after all. Besides, you have all of human history and legends from which to choose~

Lu Bu and Vlad are both fine, but as those are both canons you'd need to app their canon stat sheet. Lu Bu as a Lancer though has a functional Betrayal skill which more or less guarantees that he'll betray his Master at some point (the exception is when he's a Zerker, as Mad Enhancement seals that skill). Vlad has two stat sheets, one for EXTRA and one for Apocrypha, so you'd need to pick which one you want. Apocrypha Vlad is a bit weird, so if you feel like using him I can explain that further.

Ajax Zerker is also fine. He's not a canon so you're free to design him as you like.

Is this a game or something? I'll admit I've only watched Fate/Zero but it sounds like this is based off a Roleplaying guide like D&D or something.

By the sounds of it I think there will be far to many restrictions to enjoy myself properly, so I think I'll pass on this one. Good luck with it though.

It's got a lot of RPG mechanics behind it and stuff, yeah. Nasu's into that sort of thing. You can see that in the Servant sheets, parameters and ranks and whatnot.

Name: Rostam

Class: Saber

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Height: 245 cm
Weight: 301 Kg
Birth and Death Dates: ~1900 BCE - ~1300 BCE, biologically is 40 years old as a servant.

Alignment: Lawful Good
Personality:
Rostam is an honorable and noble man with a high sense of duty. He respects everyone from all social statuses equally and strives to treat those battered by conditions out of their control with the utmost tolerance and generosity. However, his wrath and determination against moral depravity is extreme, and Rostam is almost religious in his drive to wipe out villainous beings from the beautiful world. Rostam practices his spotless honor in all situations, including during battle. However, this honor extends only to those that Rostam finds worthy, and those that sulk in the shadows to wait for a surprise strike or inflict harm upon innocents can be dispatched with equal cunning from Rostam as he heeds no worth in the lives of scoundrels. Rostam is a humble and munificent man who, through his six hundred years of life, suffered through all manners of trials and encountered countless peoples of all situations. From his life experiences, Rostam has grown to be a sage man with profound insight into his and others' actions. Rostam places loyalty and duty to one's king as the supreme gratification of a true warrior, and thus his own loyalty to those he deems worthy to be his superior is undying and unbreakable. Contrary to his massive and feral frame, Rostam is a calm and calculating man and rarely expresses extremes of emotion such as violent anger.

Bio:
Would take me a ton of time to put up this guy's bio, so here are reading links.

Weapon:

Shamshir

Rostam wields a massive shamshir with no real special properties other than its overbearing size. The shamshir's blade is one and a half meters long with its handle being twelve inches long. It is a massive weapon more fit to be called a battle axe than a sword. The handle is crafted from a demon's bone and the steel is crafted from the finest materials, but the sword itself possesses no mystery placed upon it and thus cannot be called Rostam's noble phantasm. It is instead one of many weapons that Rostam wielded at one point in his life that materialized to fit his position in the saber container. Rostam's massive demon slaying mace would have been summoned instead of this weapon, but Rostam's master is not capable enough of supporting an extra noble phantasm. However, Rostam can strengthen the shamshir with his One Slash noble phantasm in much the same way Heracles strengthens his axe sword with Nine Lives.

Parameters:

Strength: A

Endurance: B+

Agility: A

Mana: C

Luck: E

Class Skills:
Magic Resistance
Rank: B
At rank B, the servant is capable of negating magic below the strength of three verses.

Riding Skill
Rank: A+
Creatures on the level of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast can be used as mounts. However, that does not apply to members of the Dragon Kind.

Personal Skills:
Instinct
Rank: B
The ability to sense favorable outcomes through a sixth sense of sorts. At the rank of B+, Rostam is able to effectively deduce the threat level of his opponents, readily see through most visual obstruction, and instinctively understand the success rate or failure of his attacks before they are performed.

Bravery
Rank: A+
Bravery is the ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also grants the servant a resolute will and resistance against fear. At the high rank of A+, Rostam is able to fearlessly charge in against any force regardless of his winning chances. He is also able to negate almost all forms of mental interference and obstruction. Bravery also increases the melee damage Rostam is able to output.

Battle Continuation
Rank: A
Makes possible to fight even with deadly injuries and can remain alive so long as one does not receive a decisive fatal wound. Rostam's life was ended when he fell into a pit filled with poisoned spears and swords, but even then after sustaining multiple fatal injuries he was able to draw his bow to end the life of his killer with a single focused and clear shot before his life faded away.
Noble Phantasm(s):

Name: One Slash
Title: Singular Blow of Bisection
Rank: B+
NP Type: Anti - Unit
Range: 1-5
Maximum Number of Targets: 1
The active version of this noble phantasm is a technique developed by Rostam during his seven labors, originating from his ability to slay his foes in one single bisecting slash. This noble phantasm itself is the crystallization of Rostam's unparalleled combat prowess that led him to be the Champion of Champions for over 600 years, and can be considered, when not in use, to be an advanced form of the personal skill Eternal Arms Mastership. Rostam is also able to infuse whatever he recognizes as a sword with his prana to strengthen it immensely to the point where it can stand up against other noble phantasms in terms of durability. The active version of this noble phantasm can only be utilized when Rostam is standing upon flat ground and has a clear path towards his target. Rostam must also be at least five meters away from the opponent as the technique itself essentially a short ranged but blindingly fast dash ended with one single downward slash aimed at slicing the enemy in two clean halves. The slash temporarily raises Rostam's STR and AGI a rank just for the duration . Rostam does have to prepare himself by composing his stance which can take a small amount of time, so he cannot utilize it in the heat of direct battle. Rostam will also emit an immense amount of danger from his person which can be sensed by servants so that they have a minuscule amount of time to back away before the blindingly fast slash comes to end them. This noble phantasm essentially forces enemies to constantly engage in melee combat with Rostam for fear of Rostam having the opportunity to utilize this deadly technique.

Name: Haft Khan e Rostam
Title: Seven Blessings Reaped
Rank: A
NP Type: Anti - Unit
Range: Self
For his seven labors, Rostam was awarded a potent defensive noble phantasm. Originally this noble phantasm was Babr-i-BayƄn, Rostam's enchanted coat made of dragonskin which protected him from fire, harsh weather, and physical trauma. However, Rostam's seven labors and devout piety to the gods have materialized into a divine blessing upon the cloak. The divine blessing takes the form of a brilliant golden aura emanating from Rostam's entire body, and those with keen senses will see that the aura is made up of seven layers, each representing one of Rostam's labors. The powerful divine blessing grants Rostam an extremely potent resistance against all damage, and works so that all damaging attacks on Rostam that pass through the aura have an attack value of a C-rank STR attack subtracted from them. Any attacks that lack the damage of a C- STR rank attack will have their damage completely negated, but their effects and abilities will still be in tact. Attacks that pass through all seven layers will still have to pass through the dragonskin coat which has considerable durability in of itself, though the coat only encompasses Rostam's upper body. The divine blessing also immensely lowers Rostam's originally high luck stat as it converts the favor he received from the gods into a single defensive noble phantasm. The activation of this noble phantasm is for Rostam to be able to negate one single attack seven times, one for each of his labors. A single attack constitutes one instance of continuous or singular damage, and thus a barrage of projectiles will count as many different attacks unless they are fired so rapidly that their damage is continuous. Each time Rostam uses up one of his seven blessings, the C- STR rank attack damage subtraction value loses a parameter, eventually becoming as low as E- subtraction if Rostam loses all of his blessings. The blessings can be regenerated, but under Rostam's master this is impossible.

_____________________
Saber servant up. If he is too powerful then I can easily switch over to Lancer if needs be.
Rostam's legend is Hercules tier with his demonslaying, dragonslaying, army slaying, magician king slaying, kingdom crushing, son bashing, and more dragonslaying. So he might be too powerful looking at the banlist.

Strength: A Endurance: B+ Agility: A Mana: C Luck: E

Strength to B. Base A STR isn't something that even Rostam should get, it takes Draconic Prana Burst for a Servant to hit that tier. Even Herc, summoned in Western Europe with Ilya as a Master, has B as his rank, and Rostam's strength is solidly below Herc's.

Agility to B also for similar reasons.

Class Skills are fine.

Instinct Rank: B The ability to sense favorable outcomes through a sixth sense of sorts. At the rank of B+, Rostam is able to effectively deduce the threat level of his opponents, readily see through most visual obstruction, and instinctively understand the success rate or failure of his attacks before they are performed.

Is it B or B+? If B, you should take the description from Mordred's. If B+, take the description from Mordred's and then add what the modifier does.

Also, you need to justify this. Citations of Rostam "feeling" the most favorable route in combat. Combat experience or being good at combat won't cut it, those are things like EotM. Instinct is the plot skill, you can't really justify having it, so this'll be hard to keep.

No objections to Bravery. Battle Continuation at A is iffy, but I'm fine with it.

Rostam must also be at least five meters away from the opponent

Change the minimum range to 2, then. A range of 1 is less than five meters, even if the range scale isn't numeric.

B+ seems a bit high for what's just a speedblitz technique. You can rank it down to B, that won't change the damage output but at least using it once won't burn up all his prana in one go.

The passive capability is kind of pointless though. Eternal Arms Mastership means you can fight under Mental Interference. Bravery nullifies Mental Interference so it never affects you, so it makes having a passive EAM pointless. You can keep that there, just know it doesn't do much.

Haft Khan is more eh. The "C and under is negated, above C has C subtracted from it" is a no-go on face. Damage Threshold abilities like that are quite blatantly why Siegfried's banned. You can have other defensive abilities, but Damage Threshold is too broken. The active effect of it is like Saint George's NP but times seven, and frankly the "nullify any attack once" thing isn't something I'm comfortable allowing in that amount. I'd be more receptive if this had a higher grounding in the legend, that this was actually what had happened and he had a divine protection of this caliber that gave him such a peerless invulnerability, but without even that I'll have to say no.

That's made worse by the fact that even Herc , Siegfried, and Karna, who were all given protections that were "100% no exceptions impenetrable" in their real legends have protections that you can inflict damage through in the Nasuverse, so having someone who didn't get a protection of that tier in his legend get a protection beyond that tier as a Servant seems to be fairly contradictory.

That said, Rostam's one of those heroes with plenty of NP-worthy things, so you should be able to find suitable stuff for him without having to resort to digging too deep into wank. But yeah, you'll either have to scrap or heavily rework that NP. I'm fine with helping you work other stuff out, if you hit a snag.

The maximum two NP thing really restricted my options since Rostam has a load of NP's but all of them individually aren't really worth NP tier. So I tried to mass like 4 of his attributes into one godhand like ability but probably made it overpowered which is why I sorta wanted to switch to lancer since someone like Celtchar would only really have one good NP and that would be all dandy.

Alright Tatsua, I've got to head off for the night in a bit though so I might not see it till tomorrow.

Yeah, I agree that Rostam has a lot of NP options, but unless he's summoned in Staging Ground, which isn't an option here, even he will get restricted. That said, if you wanna change to a different class/Servant, just say the word, seeing as not much else has been claimed yet. If you want to use Rostam still, that's fine too, your Servant.
