Abinnor watched as the others attacked the spirit and the spirit attack the golum. He then charged up another blast of holy fire and glared at the spirit.

200/150

"holy fire!" he shouted and shot out a large stream of divine flames at the spiritual enemy. This was sure to severely burn the entity and hopefully make it weak enough for a final fatal blow that would destroy it. If it didn't then he would imbue his sword with divine energy to make it effective against the spirit.

Caspian and Drakes were able to dodge the supernatural beasts attack, but Ax was jot so lucky. He was not fast enough to dodge the attack and took a direct hit. Unfortunately, Caspian had no time to worry about his dead of maybe dyeing Ship Right, "Drakes, take care of Ax." He bellowed as he ran into battle.

To his least there was a small building, a one story shop. He sprinted toward it and with all his might his lodged his foot into a window seal and jumped on the roof. Next to is was a two story, he lodged his foot onto another window seal, grabbed a second, and grabbed the shingles of the building, pulling him self up all the way. Now he was over looking the plaza, and he was directly over the monster. Within is holy water dipped blade in his hand he jumped of the roof and stayed his blade into the head of the monster, plunging it so deep that the blade was lost in its head and all that was left was it's hilt.

Aragon Sylvathi
Mana: 140/300
100 Gold Pieces

Aragon finished his chanting, turning to look at the Saber, "Yes, I'm an Elf, and you are a Saber, what is wrong with this?" He raised his eye, curious and slightly insulted by the Saber's pride. After hearing an actual statement of gratitude he let it go.

"Sit back down, your ribs are still broken." Aragon says, going over as to insist on him resting.

Though, he heard the action outside and drew his Rapier once more before looking at Ryden, his glare telling him to stay behind and rest. With that he bursted out the doors and raised his hand in the air, summoning Serene Winds to ease everyone's pains, even that of Ryden's. With that, he whisteled out into the air to Summon a Hawk which was patrolling in the nearby area. The Hawk came towards the mana enchanted whistle where it landed on Aragon's shoulder. In a show of falconry, he sent the Hawk to harrass the Spirit, distracting it from the others.

Aragon went forth as he summoned a Glitter Lance into his hand to throw to the Spirit, and throw it he did! The Lance flew from Aragon's hand into the chest of the Spirit, shrieking as a blinding flash of light caused the Lance to exploder, thus deasling extra damage to the boss monster. Aragon bared his sword and neared within ten meters of the beast, awaiting a good chance to attack.

The Sacrificial Spirit - Boss Battle

Sacrificial Spirit
HP: ▅ [] [] [] [] []
( ▅ = Full, [+] = 3/4 Full, [=] = Half Full, [_] = 1/4 Full, [] = Empty
Immunities: Darkness, Physical Attacks (Divine Touch or enchancements needed)
Weaknesses: Light, Holy Magic

The Sacrificial Spirit shrieked as it was bombarded with attacks, having had his attack stopped it roared a great roar.. It rose its blue orb into the air and unleashed a rain of spikes. The darkness spikes rained down on Adam, Abinnor, the Avariel, and whoever else was outside. The Spirit was weak, that was for sure, it was on its last breath of life.

The Spirit threw his cleaver up into the air, where it blocked out the sun for a moment, blinding the heroes in the darkness for a moment. But as the cleaver came down it was turned into a lance. The Spirit catched it with ease as it bared its spear, the spear twice the size of his cleaver, thus allowing for longer attacks. As the spikes of darkness rained down on the individuals like danmaku bullets, the Spirit turned to meet Abinnor, thus sending a powerful and fast strike towards the body of the Draconic. With his orb, he smacked the Avariel out of the air, making her plummet towards the ground.

Adam attempted to perform a finishing cleave as well as attempted to decapitate the spirit. This was to end the battle once and for all! Also, Adam was able to take the darkness spikes as if it was an inconvenience. With such fierce determination and rage, Adam was solely committed to ending the battle.

0/50 MP

He was enacting a no-holds barred attack against the spirit. Nothing was to hold him back. Sure Adam may have had some damage, but it was nothing that could be healed later on. Adam in fact was invincible compared to the rest, compensating for slower speed. The bronze weaponry he possessed would have to be maintained after.

Ryden Zenta
100 Gold

"Yes, I'm an Elf, and you are a Saber, what is wrong with this?" The elf man said with visible indignation, to which Ryden responded with a childish snort and a momentary glance away from him. When he told him to stay put because of his broken ribs, he growled in response to being commanded like a mere, helpless dog. I am not a house pet for you to coddle! He thought with a burst of insolence, and forced himself to get on all fours and crawl towards the entrance to where the action is. He paused momentarily as he noticed Aragon's concerned yet stern glare, and for a brief moment, he felt himself freeze up at the slight twinge of intimidation. However, after the older figure refocused himself onto the rampaging Sacrificial Spirit outside, the young Saber pulled himself, slowly but surely, towards the door. The mere action of being tenacious and refusing to become useless sent jolts of seering pain towards his broken side, but the healing Serene Winds of Aragon helped to alleviate that agony, even just by a little bit. He snaked closer and closer to the grand arches of the church's mohagany doors, and saw, to his relief, that the enemy seemed to be on its last steps. However, that did not remove the fact that it was a large threat, and Ryden knew not to take its desperate moments lightly: they say that a cornered mouse is more dangerous than an idle cat.

He saw his enemy take a heavy swing at the remaining group of individuals that lingered outside to fight him head on. He saw the creature take down two people a notch swiftly and brutally; whether they were alive or not was something to investigate later on after the carnage. Using his stealth to his advantage, he propped himself up on one arm, and charged a fireball on his right hand. If this spell could help take down the monster that threatened his and everyone else's lives, he would be satisfied; he didn't even feel the need to perform the finishing blow either. He sent the spell flying towards the monster (MP: 190/300), hoping that it would connect. However, with the rapid drain on his mana, Ryden felt even more light-headed than before, and he was starting to be short of breath with all the magic he was flinging around. If the Spirit decided to take a gander at him, he could be as good as dead.

Abinnor cursed as the creature went on the assault and had black spikes rain down upon him and the others who had chosen to stay and fight. he brought up his blade and his left arm to shield his face from the spikes. he also tried to move about as much as he could to avoid being hit too many times. his chainmail was better against slashing attacks but these spikes were trying to pierce him and his armor wasn't built for such attacks. several spikes pierced him on the arms, chest and leg. Thankfully his dragon like scaly skin was hard enough to make the wounds not too deep and become very serious, but they still hurt a lot and he was bleeding.

After the black spikes stopped raining down upon them, Abinnor moved his sword away from his head just in time to the spirit come at him with its weapon. he quickly blocked the oncoming slash with a iron hard block with his greatsword and moved in to counterattack. He imbued his blade with divine energy to make it more effective against the spirit and made powerful slash at the fiend. he then opened his mouth and released a powerful jet flames as his breath weapon which would scorch the spirit if it wasn't immune to the damage.

The Sacrificial Spirit - Boss Battle

Sacrificial Spirit
HP: [=] [] [] [] [] []
( ▅ = Full, [+] = 3/4 Full, [=] = Half Full, [_] = 1/4 Full, [] = Empty

The Sacrificial Spirit wailed and shrieked as the individuals kept attacking it, here and there. The Spirit sent out another rain of Dark Spikes to its opponents, sending its lanceinto Abinnor as well, as he was the biggest threat to it. The Sacrificial Spirit floated upwards into the air and began to rain Dark Spikes again, now a hailing storm of these spikes falling on our heroes as a sound produced from its mouth which sounded like a raspy laugh. The Spirit came down and sent his lance towards Aragon next as to eliminate him from the battle.

The Spirit was covered in white cracks, seemingly ready to explode into nothing, he was VERY weak, and a cornered mouse indeed is more dangerous than a cat in this circumstance. The Spirit sent his lance upwards into the air as dark energy gathered around it, empowering the Dark Spikes and making them fall faster then ever. The Spirit laughed once more; it was now unarmed beside his Blue Orb, which he used to heal himself.

Adam was undaunted, attempting to slice the enemy in twain again before the creature flew. The golem implants helped him in enduring the enemy weapons quite easily. The living siege engine was also enraged still, using his throwing axes to finish the spirit off once and for ALL! Men and women alike may be amazed by the sheer endurance Adam has possessed. In fact, the walking siege engine was still within range to attack. There was nothing stopping him from fighting.

The Sacrificial Spirit gave once last loud wail into the air, roaring with all its might until it exploded into flash of white light, being removed from the world of Aragonia forever. The magic barrier was destroyed as where the Spirit was, scattered items lay on the floor.

A whispering seemed to be calling for those who fought the dragon, beckoning into an empty plaza as the celebrations in the Main Plaza were being reconstructed and fixed. The whispering sounded that of something ancient, it seemed to lull the heroes towards it. The whispering seem to lull everyone's wounds, healing them as everyone listened to it, the whispering continued. Well then....will you go investigate?

Everyone has been restored to full Health and Mana

"That was interesting...and the weapons belong to me." He took the iron ax and dagger for himself. "Maybe I should sell the puny blade." He was more curious than lulled when an ancient whisper beckoned to him. "Now I need to look for a smithy. I can get rid of the puny pig sticker." He was also jotting down notes to himself. Though he took hits during the battle, he has tanked them thanks to his golem implants. With a stoic resolve, he'd look for smithy first, then investigate the whisper.

Aragon Sylvathi
Mana: 300/300
610 Gold Pieces

Aragon was tired, sheathing his bronze rapier after the monster exploded into the white flash of light. He panted slightly as he had wasted nearly half of his Mana and doing so was surely bad for ANYONE who had controls over magicks. Though, the whispering voice was heard and the moment it fell into his ears Aragon was rejuvinated, feeling his Mana being restored to him and his wounds disappear; the same happened to Ryden and all the other by the looks of it. Looking over at the item drops, Aragon went over and picked up a sack of five hundred ten gold pieces, placing them in his inventory, along with the healing items which would surely be useful in the future.

Though the whispering.....it was curious.....Aragon looked at all the others, seeing Adam pick up the Iron dagger which Aragon would have taken gladly but made no comment on it, he just looked at everyone..

Adam then looked at the elf Aragon. Judging from the body language, it seemed that he wanted the dagger. In a surprisingly civil manner, he attempted to make a bargain with the elf. "Excuse me, but do you know where to find a smithy? I want to see if I could trade this iron dagger for something more worthwhile." Perhaps bartering with fellow colleagues would be a better idea. Who knows what they'd have in store? Adam will find out soon enough. "If you really want it, take it. I have no use for a pigsticker."

Ryden Zenta
100 Gold

Ryden slowly got up as he felt his bones piece themselves back together. Although it wasn't a particularly pleasant process, he buckled down and bore the excruciating healing process. His ribs snapped and jammed themselves together, and smoothed out the cracks by spreading itself out and filling in the cavities. He took a deep breath and steadied himself as he rose to his feet, testing out his capabilities and the fluidity of his movements. He twisted his body left and right, feeling his bones ease up on the tension with a satisfying crack. He stepped out of the church and scanned his surroundings: carnage mercilessly scattered around, blood and guts lathered generously on the ground, while families of the departed wept on the side. The boy remembered his own father, Virgil, a strict and sullen piece of work with his own emotional baggage to carry. He wondered, Does he worry about me as well? Does he wonder where I am right now? Is he even searching for me? His heart slightly sank at these thoughts, before anger overtook his chest. He probably is glad that I am gone, that old fool.. He never really cared about how I felt or what I thought. All he ever worried himself about was how I affected his reputation. God, this isn't the time nor place... He scolded himself for bringing such emotional intensity upon himself, which made his eyes water with tears of sorrow and rage. He swallowed the rising lump in his throat, wiped his eyes with the back of his hands, and forced himself to trod forward with a depressed mood, being careful not to ruin his boots with the stain and stench of blood.

His ears picked up an eerie, ancient chanting, which beckoned from an empty space in the plaza. He looked around the area, taking notice of the golem man and the elf man who saved him earlier. He walked up to them, slightly awkward and deeply in need of company, and nodded shyly towards them. "I don't mean to interrupt, but the smithy is the least of our worries right now.." Ryden pointed to the source of the chanting, his eyes reflecting a set seriousness and slight worry, "I don't know what that is or what it wants, but if we don't attend to that now, we might be in for a much more terrible being than the Sacrificial Spirit."

Aragon Sylvathi
Mana: 300/300
610 Gold Pieces

"Sixty gold....I am willing to offer you sixty gold for that dagger." Aragon said.

Though while trying to barter with Adam, he turned around to see Ryden prodding them to go see the voice first in which Aragon had to think about, the whispering was not going away but they did need to check out the inventory that the Blacksmith and Item shop had, luckily in every town and village those two were always close to each other if not right exactly to each other.

"I am not sure..perhaps we should consult with the other members of this group, and if I may ask what are both of your names, I never caught them due to that Spirit." Aragon asked.

The whispering didn't seem to disappear which slightly unnerved Aragon, though the whispering itself didn't sound or seem like anything violent it seemed more sooth and rather more peaceful, but so were Sirens whom lulled sailors to their doom to be torn into strips of flesh and eaten by the monsters. He had not encountered this before and thus had his hand positioned on the hilt of his bronze Rapier, he was ready to fight when needed.

Adam Johannson
Mana: 50/50
610 Gold

"Sounds like a bargain, though I was previously fearing that you may be a cheapskate. Anyway, I'm what's left of Adam Johannson." The golem was terse in speech and dry in humor. He then looked to the source Ryden was pointing. "Yes Ryden, I'm aware. Good thing I got this with me." He took out a "two-handed" iron bastard's axe. The new weapon should serve him well. But the new challenge was to dump unwanted goods at the market. He may be strong, but the golem was no beast of burden.
