Aragon Sylvathi
Mana: 265/300
100 Gold Pieces

As chaos unleashed, the Bard and everyone ran inside for safety which left some armed civilians, the guards, and the player characters.

The First Battle! - Battle Music

Aragon was aware of the Avariel behind him, waiting for a chance to help Aragon, but Aragon needed no help. The crossbow man fired at close range which was dodged to the right as Aragon moved up upon the wooden platform which he was met with an overhead swing with the crossbow. He sent his rapier upwards to block the crossbow in a "Roof" style which then he sent a kick to the man's chest and met his sword with the man's neck. Blood splashed out from the mortal wound, nearly killing him as the bronze rapier's blade was coated in blood, Aragon's eyes showed no mercy to men whom killed innocents, but were they actually men?

Iron bested Bronze, that was sure so as the man recovered from the slash holding his neck, Aragon muttered a few words in Elvish and gathered his mana in his left hand where a yellow flashing light appeared in his hand, materializing into a Glitter Lance instead of throwing it at the high speed alternative he sent a powerful jab into the man's chest with the Glitter Lance thus piercing through the Iron armor and killing him, an aura of light surrounded the dead opponent as a cosmetic after-effect of the spell's effects. He quickly turned around, smelling the scent of fresh blood spilled and the literal smell of Iron, he was met with Blue-Cloaked man attacking an armed innocent, the Armed Innocent had a deadly gash down his arm. Thus while having rotated he sent the Glitter Spear into the Blue-Cloaked man's head with deadly precision, being sent at high speeds towards his head. The enemy was too late as the Glitter Spear impacted into his head and thus sent him to the ground, killing him as the Lance dissipitated.

Thus Aragon ran at speeds faster than an elf and human to help other innocents, his Rapier bared and a dark claw on his left hand due to Ravage he was ready for combat.
More Blue-Cloaked men appeared in the Plaza, guards and the player characters are the only ones left while everyone is dead or has flocked to safety, there are a count of twenty men, seven "individuals", and four guards. They all formed a circle around the Plaza, unable for anyone to escape as they activated their Mega Forcefield, forbidding anyone to leave the Plaza area, it was a fight to the death. All of the guards had activated Divine Touch on their weapons and these men held Great Swords in two hands, with Silver and Iron Daggers, varied through-out the twenty, at their sides.

Arijen Eldjarn: 100G

"Stay on your guard, I do not believe these men have good intentions."

Abinnor's warning seemed to time exquisitely with a thunderous roar of shouts that rang across the plaza. The speaker on the podium was silenced by one of the figures, and this incited the others to carry out their deed. The blue clocked men drew their swords and began attacking all those who stood in the square, women, children, no one was spared. Arijen unsheathed his dual swords and spun them expertly in his hands, it was times like this he was in his element.

One of the Blue-cloaks charged towards him with ferocious velocity, the silver glint of the spear head warning Arijen of the imminent attack. He sidestepped with finesse, arcing his swords behind him, and attacked with a powerful spinning motion, sending one sword into the lower abdomen, and the other into the soft tissue beneath the chin of the attacker. The sheer momentum of his adversary caused his body to continue onwards into the fountain, albeit without a head and a pulse. Slightly thrilled by this, a rush of adrenaline surged through his body, as he sprinted up to a nearby watchtower to gain a valuable vantage position.
"Time for some target practice" he thought to himself.

The stoney facade of the tower offered no hinderance to his scaling of the structure, as his rapidly ascended by grappling the stones that jutted out. Pulling himself over the ledge, he hunted over the scene that lay before him for a suitable target. He spied a duo of axe wielding Blue-cloaks who were cornering some civillians who were armed with meager looking wooden sticks, taking his chance, he took a throwing knife from his belt and drew it to eye level, preparing to throw. Zeroing in on the tyrants, he moved his hand backwards, yet it was stopped by a gloved hand. Startled, he spun around to face the assailant, yet all he saw was a fist that dazed him and knocked him backwards over the tower ledge. Desperately, he thrust his hand out and grabbed onto one of the stone pieces that protruded from the tower, and his descent was halted.

30 feet in the air, amidst the chaos and despair of the battle, Arijen, somewhat bewildered, held on with a single hand, wondering what on earth he was going to do.

Skylar

Saw that the blonde haired man needed no help at all. He seemed better alone. Her wings spread out as she dashes into the air once more, viewing of what was on the plaza. Dead men/women, loot of which many with minor armor and few daggers and sword. And as the plaza finally cleared out there were only guards left of which had iron armor, seeing as they divined touched there swords and began combat. Smirked, still holding her arrow, shrugging, she'd needed a dagger or somewhat for better combat. She giggled, swiftly flying down onto the plaza grounds.

As she landed on the ground, her wings folded. She spun around her arrow hitting ones chest area, noticing that it was one of the blue cloaked. The unique ones and the guards were easy to separate so she stayed careful. The man that she struck quickly attempted to strike her with his great-sword, though she dashed back by the support of her wings. The blue cloaked man charged at her once more, grabbing another arrow from her quiver as she swiftly dashed into the air, jumping higher than any race could do..but only with the support of there wings. And as she was in the air for only a few moments she quickly grabbed out her bow and shoot a arrow towards the mans back. He was now impaled with two arrows.

Skylar, looked towards the ground a rapier of which was already broken, only part of the blade was there, though it was now essential to combat. The blue cloaked man was already recovered from combat and he began swinging his sword even though she was no where near him. She slightly giggled, dashing her wings flapping staying steadily staying balanced on the ground as if she was floating above ground, finally she struck the man, blood seeping from his clothes, noticing as she struck him in the heart and his great-sword dropping next to her. Letting go of the hilt the man fell with only a few breaths, dashing into the air once more, seeing if anyone needs help..

Abinnor glared at the blue-cloaked men and he bared his dragon-like fangs. they would pay for their evil deeds by tasting the deadliness of his blade.

"Fiends, my blade shall be the very last thing that your eyes shall see before you die!" he snarled at them. One of the blue cloaked men charged him and Abinnor sidestepped and slashed the man in the side with a might swing of his sword, cutting through cloth and flash. a second one came at him from behind but Abinnor did a 180 degree turn and followed up with a powerful hew which sliced into the man's midsection with deadly precision. the fiend halted in his tracks and Abinnor then beheaded him. When a third man tried to meet him with a greatsword of his own, Abinnor took one hand off of his has sword handle and grabbed the blade, half-swording. with the extra leverage Abinnor easily displaced his opponent's blade and very roughly kicked the criminal in the gut. he then kneed the man in the face while he clutched at his stomach and finished him off with a stab to the chest.

The "abomination" approached the enemies. The way he approached the blue cloaked men was rather thunderous, as all the less than firm objects rattled along with the water vibrating. The golem was ready to slaughter and butcher those who opposed him. If the way he held his two handed axe didn't intimidate the enemy, his demeanor should should do the trick. As insurance, the left hand had a throwing axe to toss at the enemy. It was about time to help his unlikely allies.

THOOM! THOOM! THOOM!

He was silent save for vibrations as he approached the enemies. Any more grouping melee opponents would feel the heft of his cleave as more messes are made. It seems that the golem will soon prove to be a siege engine in a humanoid form. Things were going to be very messy, so all ladies and gentlemen must roll up the sleeves. Against a lone opponent from far away, he threw his left hand axe to assist the people fighting back against the blue-cloaks.

Having had resistance, the Blue-Cloaked Men ran away from what they were doing, sheathing their swords and running near the center of the plaza, next to the fountain. All of the remaining enemies looked at each other and pulled out ceremonial-looking Silver Daggers, gathering in a ritualistic circle. All of them chanted in Elvish while holding their hands up in the air, Silver Dagger in right hand. Even the one busy with Arijen left to join the circle, which he joined the chanting with a Silver Dagger in his right hand. After a minute of seancing the remaining Blue-Cloaked Men plunged the Silver Daggers into their stomach area, raising their arms up as a groan of pain came out. Immediately a flashing light appeared within the circle, their spirits being sucked into the flashing light which was seeable and their bodies disappearing into nothing.

A black ghastly figure with a huge sword appeared, standing fifteen feet tall and about ten feet wide as it looked down upon the group. It bared it's sword and let out a great demonly roar.

Battle has begun.

Aragon Sylvathi
Mana: 245/300
100 Gold Pieces

Aragon stopped as all the Blue-Cloaked Men formed a ritual circle together, staring in confusion as dark magic coursed through his hands in the shape of claws. The moment the Blue-Cloaked Men stabbed themselves, Aragon looked in surprise, nearing the ritualistic "altar" or the middle of the circle. He walked towards one of the dead bodies before seeing it disappear and having an actual viewable spirit be sucked in to the center of the circle. Aragon backed away while keeping his eyes upon the being forming, seeing a dark aura in a fog-like substance as well as the flashing light blinding him the slightest. Seeing the Sacrificial Spirit emerge itself from the was-center of the ritualistic circle, he sent both of his dark Ravage claws towards the body of the Boss. On contact of the claws hitting the Spirit, it absorbed the Dark Magic and seemed to give off a smile at the idea of using Dark Magic on it. Aragon was smacked backwards with the hand of the Sacrificial Spirit, bruising the front-side of his body he managed to roll backwards in midair, avoiding any more damage; but he was already badly bruised all over, aching pain all over his body made it hard for him to move.

Aragon tried but one more thing; he began to concentrate mana into the form of a lance, giving off a "shadow" outline of a Glitter Spear forming it in his left hand as his right hand grasped the Bronze Rapier. Fully forming the Glitter Spear as the Spirit stared, he threw it at the head of the slow-moving spirit and made a direct hit! The Glitter Spear shone like a star in the sky, lighting up the whole plaza as it disappeared in the manner of an explosion, thus indicating it being susceptible to the beast. Aragon gave a determined look at the Sacrificial Spirit and then looked up at the Avarial, obviously by his looking calling upon her for help. After all, the Plaza was unescapable to everyone until the monster would be defeated.

Abinnor at first thought that their foes were retreating, but his instincts told him that it was not the case and his instincts turned out to be correct. The cloaked men gathered in the plaza and began to chant in a language that he recognized as elvish. Abinnor suspected that they were trying to cast some type of spell, and soon the spectral entity appeared as the men stabbed themselves with silvered daggers.

Abinnor gripped his greatsword tightly in his hands and his mind quickly tried to think up what course of action to use against this foe. He saw Aragon try to attack the entity but the being seemed to absorb the dark magic, Abinnor cursed when he saw the half elf use a dark attack against the being, the man should have guessed that dark magic would be useless against such a fiend. That was when Abinnor got an idea, if black magic was useless then light magic may work against the specter. He hurried over to the half elf and let his greatsword rest in his left hand.

"I have a plan of attack, I will give this abomination a taste of the power of the divine" he said to Aragon, and the paladin drew upon the well of magic within him.

MP: 200/175

"Holy Fire!" he shouted as he shoved his right hand out at the entity and big bright white flames shot out of his palm straight at the beast. If it hit then the evil specter would be burned by intense holy flames and feel the agony of God's wrath.

The Sacrificial Spirit - Boss Battle

Sacrificial Spirit
HP: ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ [=]
( ▅ = Full, [+] = 3/4 Full, [=] = Half Full, [_] = 1/4 Full, [] = Empty
Immunities: Darkness, Unknown
Weaknesses: Light, Holy Magic

The creature let out a terrible shriek as the Holy Fire burned it's essence away, though not dead it was wounded. Thus the Sacrificial Spirit raised it's magic orb into the air and began to release dark energy from it, a foggy dark aura gathering around the Spirit before the aura around it was suddenly sent towards Abinnor at a VERY fast rate. (1/2 the speed of a bullet) As the dark aura was sent towards Abinnor in that of a spike, it used Cleave upon Aragon, it's huge sword coming down upon the Vampire Elf's body!

Afterwards, the spirit seemed to send his Orb over the Holy Fire wounds, a light blueish light covering up the wounds of the burns and the Glitter Spear attack, being sent over his head as well. Though it wouldn't heal the wound COMPLETELY, it did heal the wounds into that of a scar, indicated by white "cracks" but the damage was already done. It let out a demonly roar once more, attempting to intimidate the brave.

Caspian and his crew watched as the blue men began to chant in the middle of the plaza, slaying themselves in the end. "What in dirty sea boot leg are they doing" asked Ax. His questions were answered when there spirits were sucked from their body's to dorm a hideous dark beast. "Aye Captain, seems we got a land lubber monster on our hands" said Drakes. " Aye, Aye Drakes, Ax, let's show these land lubbers how pirates fight.

Caspian and his crew jumped into battle, Ax ran at the beast with the intent to jump on it, but his run was cut short when he was smacked across the plaza screaming by the monster. Drakes fired large bolts at the beast, about 3 in total. Caspian pulled out his Crossbow and fired some bolts at the beast. But there attacks seemed to do nothing to it.

Caspian watched as a man used holy water to hurt the beast, and it worked. Caspian real towards a church not to far from the festival, grabbing a gourd, he poured a large amount of it. With Ax's help he ran back the battle field. Drakes and Caspian dipped there bolts in it and Ax dipped his axe. With the holy water they were actually able to hurt the beast. Ax though his axe at it, smashing it into its arm, Drakes fired 2 bolts and Caspian shot 4 bolts at the beast.

Lucky for Caspian and Drake, the church was within the plaza. Though, physical attacks did nothing to the Spirit, even with Holy Water it was no more than a thorn in the Spirit's side. The Sacrificial Spirit Cleaved down on Caspian and his crew, a high power attacking coming down, the Spirit using his Cleaver. It roared as it was fought back, showing annoyance and anger.

Physical Attacks did nothing, but what if someone were to ENCHANT their weapons to do damage to the beast? Sure it was risky and close up, but it would damage the evil being at least. But who were these cloaked men? Why did they attack everyone for no reason? Why was there such evil at play here?

The cyborg rolled what's left of his eyes. If he was back in his original form, he thought thst the fight would be finished in no time. Now he would have to rob the dead for a holy weapon. Though he could blow off some steam and distract the monster, it probably won't be potent. He was also too slow to give real help. Unless someone enchanted his arms, he would only be but a shield. If the spirit did attack Adam directly, things would be heated. Perhaps he could raid a church for holy water to use. He also believed consecrated acid would work wonders!

Another set of vibrations rumbled throughout the area. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Adam ran to the church to ransack the area for useful items. Perhaps the method would work. Once he took what he needed, he threw one of his throwing axes to distract the spirit for luring. Fortunately, he dunked his melee axe into the well and washed his hands in the well thoroughly for fist fighting. Once the ruse worked and the spirit going for Adam, he activated his rage to charge at the enemy axe first.

Ryden Zenta
100 Gold

Ryden yelped and howled in admiration for Johannsen's show of golemn strength, cheering him on while jumping up and down. He admired the way his axe cleaved through the bodies like nothing, and dispelled his belief that heavy weapon users were just a bunch of reckless brutes. He turned to face his opponents, and crackled a blot of lighting between his hands to intimidate his foes, increasing its intensity by the second. Ryden's smug attitude dissipated rather quickly as his enemies swept past him and gathered at the center. He was about to yell out a curse of indignation at their general direction, feeling utterly disrespected by their behavior, but then came to a morbid realization as he recognized their formation and their repetitive, ominous chanting. Oh hell fucking no... A Summoning circle?? This is bad, this is real bad... He thought to himself as he leaped back from the center and cautiously watched the blue cloaked men mutter their dastardly Elvish language all while holding up an ornate Silver dagger. This would have been the perfect time to strike, except everyone was caught off guard when they suddenly stabbed themselves, decorating the plaza with red fireworks, and collapsed onto the ground. Their wispy spirits seemed drawn to a vertical beam of light that exploded onto the premise, and their bodies dissolved into ashes, to be swept away into nothingness by the wind. He watched in awe-stricken terror the monstrosity that came out of the demonic ritual.

Immediately, Ryden took notice of its immunity to Darkness, and its weakness to Light. He cursed his lack of Light spells, but he decided to not let that be any sort of excuse to fail at this moment. He sprang fearlessly into action and charged a beam of lightning towards the monster (MP: 220/300). It twitched in for two seconds in pain, then recovered quickly and swung its heavy broad sword towards Ryden. His increased movement speed fortunately worked in his favor as he ducked to avoid the attack, but he knew that if he had been hit, he would be cleaved in half, his life would extinguish as quickly as a candle during a stormy night, and he would consume his only Revival Tome. I can't waste it on something as weak shit as this, definitely not! He thought to himself with fierce determination, and blasted two arcs of electricity towards the the shadowy behemoth (MP: 200/300). It roared in anguish, and again attempted at another strike towards the Saber boy, and again, Ryden leaped up to avoid the attack. He noticed that this particular swing was slower than the one before, and in his arrogance, he thought he had damaged the beast enough to hinder it. But he realized too late, as he saw the blunt end of the sword drive backwards towards him as gravity pulled him down, that the attack was deliberately slow to fake him into using the same avoidance pattern. He felt the hard, black metal of the sword crush his ribs, and he screamed in pain as he flew crashing into a food kiosk. Everything reverberated agony all at once, and he could barely from the spot. He scrambled for a sip of his chocolate milk, but his body was so wracked with such numbing misery that he couldn't even manage that.

Adolin Sinnet: 100G

Adolin Sinnet whistled as he eyed the monstrous being that suddenly took form from the malicious ritual. He crouched low, hiding among the huge rubble that decorated the plaza, chunks of rock being strewn across the now nearly-empty square that resulted from the brutish ambush of the blue-cloaks. Though the young man was obviously bruised and scratched, with his tunic loosely hanging in shreds from underneath his jerkin, Adolin's breathing remained calm and his mind collective as he tapped his glowing, Enchanted blade

He took a moment to discern some sort of strategy. Scattered about him were the heroes he had noticed during the battle, each individual burning with the fires of a certain resolution. In could be seen in there eyes that they were not going to back down - their souls had reflected in them a certain light that indicated their will to fight, or die trying. The man couldn't help but grin, as they had the same light that flared within his - after all, this was just too much excitement to walk away from.

In a span of several minutes, the fight with the behemoth of a Spirit unfolded before Adolin's analytical gaze. He pursed his lips as he noticed it's immunity to Dark magic, as demonstrated by a skilled Elf who had used Ravage on it to no avail. However, it did respond to the burst of Holy Fire from a fearsome Dragonborn, and also to the attack of a pirate and his crew, who had drenched their weapons in Holy Water. It momentarily healed itself to his dismay, but his eyes were sharp enough to notice the small, unmended cracks that plagued it's sickly armor.

But then it reared it's ugly head and engaged a young Sader in one-to-one combat. After a few moments of quick exchange, the heavy blunt of its vicious sword sent the figure of the Sader falling into a splintering mess of nearby kiosks.

That was enough to spring Adolin into action. From behind the piece of rubble where he remained hidden, the young wanderer vaulted over it with grace and landed with a solid thud on stone before sprinting towards the battle. In his hand gripped his sword that flared with the flames of magic, and he kept it low to the ground as his slender frame sliced through the wind as he neared the Pirate and his men. Without taking a moment to stop, the young man withdrew from his pouch a glass bottle of Chocolate Milk, in which in downed in seconds. Already he could feel the ache seeping from his body.

Approaching the intimidating men and the gourd of Holy Water, Adolin made no time to introduce himself as he stopped and plunged the glass bottle, filling it with the water of Gods.

"Be ready to throw everything you got," was all he barked as he took off sprinting again, this time, in the direction towards the monster - flaring sword in one hand, and a wet, slippery bottle in another.

Adolin let out a tremendous roar as he ran up the cobblestones of a giant piece of rubble, launching himself high in the hair, sword poised to the skies behind as his body flew towards the distracted monster, hoping he could draw it away from the injured Sader. He could feel Divine Touch seeping away as it's duration neared an end, but it was enough for this task alone. With a mighty over-head arched strike, Adolin slammed his trusty sword along the portion of the Spirit's armor that harbored the faint cracks. Magic flared brilliant from the force and contact, and the reckless man threw his whole weight behind the attack, hoping to disrupt the malicious being by widening it's damaged hull, which were signs of it being wounded by the heroes' earlier barrage. For added measure, Adolin smashed the glass bottle against his blade, hoping that the Holy Water may cleanse the darkness that lie underneath this hulk of demonic metal

With a final push, the man launched off of the monstrous being, falling straight for the ground. As he impacted, he gave a quick evasive roll to put distance from himself and his foe. Landing in a kneeling position not too far away from the Elf he noticed before, Adolin raised his hand and launched a massive arc of ghostly magic that surrounded the Ritualistic Spirit: the misty veils of Erosion.

"Aim for the wounded portions of its armor, which I have now further weakened! Deepen it's cracks, make it suffer with the holiness of God and Light!" He shouted to the warriors about him, blade raised in front of him in a defensive stance, although the blade dimmed back to ordinary bronze. His breathing began to labor due to his excessive use of magic.

The Avariel flew back, watching the blue cloaked men as they chanted there circled ritual, watching as they began impaling themselves with the knifes..until..a spectral being of darkness rose into the air. The guards and the unique ones began attacking with all of there power as she stood there. Observing the spectral quietly, she backed away from the scene, almost against the shield of which surrounded the plaza. Her wings flapped, watching the battle and observing the battle. And once she gained enough information she was ready. The girl finally flew forward, closer to the scene, incanting words of the arcane as balls of light began appearing, turning elongated. More and more balls of light appeared around her of which were all the same spell...Glitter Lance. At least were hovering around her ready to strike the spectral. Her mana went down very fast, though it wasn't exactly enough to tire her.

The 5 lances of which were in her vicinity hovered near her, watching the battle closely until the time was right. She hovered a few feet above ground, in front of the spectral of which was being distracted by the unique ones. She watched the battle continued, spotting a man of which seemed to weaken its armor. She smirked the lance's of light began moving towards the sides of her wings, ready to strike the dark spectral. Thus....they lance's began dashing towards the spectral hitting the head first, then the arms, and lastly the legs. Knowing that they wren't so major points it could possibly weaken the spectral amazingly.

The Spirit roared a beastly roar of pain and anger, being struck by many bold individuals whom actually SEEMED to be a threat to it. The Sacrificial Spirit slammed his cleaver into the ground and let out a powerful shockwave of dark magic, attacking all in the vicinoty! The Spirit roared as the faint white cracs of energy were "growing" bigger, weakening the full force of his attacks.

A huge shockwave of physical and magic damage was sent out to all the individuals, physical to knock them down to the floor powerfully, magically to deal damage to all. The Spirit turned to see the wounded Ryden and sent his blue Orb in a very fast motion to kill him once and for all!

Aragon Sylvathi
Mana: 185/300
100 Gold Pieces

Aragon rolled out of the way and dodged the incoming hit, doing so by leaping to his left side, tucking his chin and using his left shoulder to roll upwards into a standing position, next to Adolin. He nodded in acknowledgement of his command to aim at the showing white cracks of energy in which he formed a Glitter Lance in his left hand, throwing it to the chest of the being to damage it. The Lance pierced the figure of the Spirit and exploded in a bright flash of light, thus dealing great damage to the being, making it shriek in pain.

As the Sacrificial Spirit shrieked and roared, he saw the Saber be smacked into a building and be unable to recover. His fair eyes spotted the cocky Saber wounded and rushed over to him to help him. When he got there he crouched down and placed his hand on Ryden's left rib. When he moved his hand, he could feel the bones move and grind against themselves. In order to ease the pain, Aragon sent his mana over to the fighting individuals to heal them, though not enough to heal Ryden fully, it would ease the pain. This was the Serene Winds of Aragon Sylvathi.

"Damn it I can't do anything about these ribs, but you should be able to limp at the least." Aragon said.

As the shockwave came, Aragon quickly imbued his Mana within his rapier, thus using Divine Touch to enchant his weapon. This was to be used for later. As the fast and incoming wave of darkness came to them, he quickly but carefully grabbed Ryden and lifted him upon his own shoulder, ribs upwards to avoid further pain. He ran inside the church where he slumped down the broken Ryden on a bench, letting him rest for a moment.

Aragon grabbed a cup full of water with a nearby goblet while he prayed in Elvish,

"Alkaroth, save this soul and ease his pain, guide me and others to the path of victory against this demon....may Bleda help us, amen." Aragon said in Elvish.

As if a miracle, the church weithstood and forbidded the entry of dark magic and protected both the Vampire Elf and the Saber; they were indeed not alone.

Adam Johannson got back up easily, due to still being under the rage's effect. He also continued and charged at the spirit, with weapons still enchanted by the holy water. Worst comes to worst, an epic boxing bout would be a result as Adam even washed his hands in the holy water! A vertical strike would be the first blow from the two handed axe. The intention was to slice the spirit in twain.

With that in mind, the human-golem hybrid was preparing to live true to the epithet of being a living siege weapon. Both spirit and cyborg would be intertwined in battle, which may include grappling, but for sure melee combat. The shockwave did not affect the golem much anyway, but he was willing to provide twice the fight to the spirit.

The pain tortured Ryden so much that, for an extended period of time, all he could focus on was nothing but his physical misery. He managed, with painstaking effort, to pull the dairy concoction out of his satchel and put the lip unto his, but it did nothing to soothe his pain or heal his main injury, for the damage was far too great. He dropped the bottle feebly and slowly began to pass out as a wave of drowsiness took over. He was shaken awake, however, by a man who ran to his side and started muttering about not being able to do a whole lot for his broken ribs. He almost yelled in agony, but down hard on his lip, causing the skin to break and bleed, as he felt the magic move his tattered bones about his body. The dark, titanic monster let out an earth shattering shock wave, so he braced himself for the extinguishing of his life and conscience as he knew it. Suddenly, he felt himself being lifted up, unfortunately sending jolts of pain all throughout his midsection, but thankfully out of the way of the enemy's attack. He saw the blast of dark energy whiz by, too close for comfort, as they ran through the doors of the church. He felt himself being sat down rather roughly, causing him to groan and wheeze as the force moved about his very sore spot. He was very tempted to fall flat on his back and pass out then, not caring for life or death at that moment, when he heard absurd, religious, Elvish mutterings coming from the man who saved him. He shot himself awake, glared at the person before him, undoubtedly of the race that persecuted him for his own differences, bared his sharp canines and hissed. "You're an ELF!" He exclaimed with both genuine surprise and a furiously embarrassed tone. [i]Saved by one of those pompous, incorrigible snobs... What luck do I have,[i] he thought sarcastically to himself as he rolled his eyes, and although he wanted to scramble away from the presence of this abhorred being, he could not. Still, it could not hurt to be slightly grateful, right?

He took a deep breath and steadied himself, letting his hot blood settle down, and with surmounting hesitance, muttered his gratitude. "Thanks.. I guess I...." He spat on the ground and his face contorted into a heavy, distasteful frown. "I owe you one," Ryden finally said as he sucked in his pride and breath. He looked around warily, as he felt a strong force shield them from the dark magics of the Sacrificial Spirit, and charged his gauntlets with a bit of magic power, just in case. The slits of his scarlet red eyes slithered thin as his keen senses heightened. "Don't let your guard down. We never know if more of those crazies are still around.."

(I'm sorry, this post has been removed due to a stupid tablet error that happened as well as me not paying attention. A cleaver was sent at Adam and the Spirit recovered its wounds)

The infuriated Adam saw the cleaver coming and attempted to not just dodge, but counter with a throw from one of his throwing axes. An underhanded blow might strike, possibly interrupting the blow. The golem aimed for the center of mass as it was easiest to hit. Adam wasn't going down so easily, with his golem durability in play. It would not be a good idea to block or parry with his melee axe, as the weapon could be compromised by the enemy. As a last resort, fighting with fists would be a viable option!

Sometimes Adam wished that previous debacle never happened...
