I like it, and would like to apologize for my intrusion, clearly it has generated quite the negative feedback, but thank you nonetheless.

Hey I am interested!
If this is still up I'd like to grab the region of rainforest south of the mountains in the center of the left continent.

Interested! Please, tell me where in the map the rainforest is ( I wonder is the ir in the south of the desert of the eastern continent) and wether you are still accepting people and I'll submit my kingdom.I promise I will make out of the jungle a scary, dangerous place.

As long as it's at least a semi-realistic location, e.g. not right next to a vast desert or frozen wasteland, pretty much anywhere.

I dunno, it seems raw. What does a militant elf carry? anything special about their weapons or fighting tactics? how have they remained so isolated in the center of a continent for so long? Where do the majority live? What kind of crimes are rampant? Just basic stuff to make the reader feel more intimate with the creation.

You also just named a lot of stuff a lot of other people here tend to leave out or forget. Or over generalize.

Warrior's standard issue gear should be briefly described. Things soldiers provide themselves are not necessary.
Fighting tactics are not necessary - if it's well known what their fighting style is, opposing generals can set up counters and checks.
The isolationism should be explained. Are the surrounded by barbarians, plagued with bad weather, whatever stopped people getting in or out should be described.
Generally, most people live in cities. I, personally, will make this assumption if there is nothing else suggesting otherwise.
Crimes, as in what is illegal, should be defined. Major - I mean bloody major - crime organisations should be noted. Generally, it's the small crimes that are most numerous.

Yes, we are still accepting.

I was going for a kind of half-tribal - South American, Amazonian, Scottish clan - half-rich imperial - England, Ottomans - kind of nation.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a few more details. Don't apologise.

Not really. Tribe culture is simple enough, so it's really just playing a nation and a half.
It's also realistic. American Settlers, Scotland under English occupation, the Amazon right now... history is peppered with nations comprised of two totally separate cultures. Maybe they don't get along as well, by hey, having a stubborn sense of national pride really helps.

I don't think I really had a particular culture in mind when I designed the Hanarth. Though their 'marriage' ideas were based off of the 'walking marriages' of the Mosuo people of Southwestern China.

And as for the Deepwood, it looks to me like it's a bit large, especially for only holding 650,000 people in it. Oh, and I'm not overly fond of people saying that their entire race is beautiful. But I do like the nation overall; I was actually thinking of making a nation quite similar to it at one point. But I went with Hanartha instead.

I didn't have a culture in mind, either! I made my nation-sheet just from a smattering of ideas. I also recall that the phalanx when done right is a really powerful weapon. Also, I just remember castes from world history class! And... that's all I remember hahaha!!!

I hope I am not seen as a dumb person when I start making IC posts lol!

I understand the need for realism..

but do you know what would be more real?? Having diplomatic relationships with other countries, especially the elven races like manas, hanarth, and deepwood! Manas is open for communication with torin! I will make an IC post about an ambassador from my country heading towards your country, will you take receive him in all formalities?

TheSovereignGrave still mentioned that he liked your race overall...

...

I don't think you be put off by the fact that he (TheSoverignGrave) said "a race of beautiful people" is not realistic. I had the same problem when I stated in my original nation sheet that all my people were skinny and not a single one was fat. The co-gm (Dinh) made me change it.

I hate to be the immature one here, but the outline of your nation now looks like a penis. The tan colour you chose doesn't help any, either.

Other than that, it looks good to me.

650,000 people for such a large area isn't that much of a big deal really. It's just really under populated. There would have been entire regions of the world in the middle ages that are just as big and just as under-populated. Geographically for Deepwood it would benefit them given that Risen ran off the previous notes that all the southern borders are shielded by mountains, which for advancing armies would make expansion south-ward very difficult. It would have made a significant enough natural shield that an underpopulated region could be very well defended against some more organized states.

As well, heavily forested regions don't tend to loan well to large populations, since all things considered the trees could be the only thing holding the soil intact and there's not a lot of nutrient turn over there so agriculture may not be that great. But even if the rains aren't a problem washing the top-soil away then it's a simple matter of there being too much work to simply clear the land, or cultural ideology on the protection of the forest.

Well he completely changed it anyway.

And sorry for not getting a post up today; I unexpectedly attended my cousins' talent show and then hung out over my Aunt's house for a couple of hours.
