So, I know this is terribly off-topic, but I have to bitch somewhere. I've finally caught up with the second season of the Psycho-Pass anime, and I have to say that it is unbelievably terrible compared to its predecessor. It pains me to see one of my favorite shows of all time be devolved into a bullshit-ridden mess of nonlogic and terribly written characters. Something that was a well-written masterpiece is now a sci-fi circus with poorly developed characters and forced plot movement.

Map has been updated with province names so you can accurately describe your character's home. If you wanna make up cities in any province, just tell me the name and place an I will (possibly) add it. Provincial Seats (state capitals basically) will have names at some point before the heat death of the universe.

Also, by using my Make Shit Up powers, I have deduced the race equivalents in our world! People from Occas, the west-most continent will most resemble people of Germanic European descent; Medan people will resemble our Slavic descendants; and finally western Ortus people will resemble Africans while eastern Ortusan's will resemble eastern Asians. Basically, geographically every ethnic group originates from a similar place as on Earth; specifically the western hemisphere. However, since Obit has significantly less land mass and has a unified government for half a century, the whole world is a racial melting pot.

I mad a really lazy map edit duplicate, but I thought it might be offensive because of it's laziness...

Threw together some quick descriptions of the faction leaders in the "side characters" section of the CS thread. If anyone would like, they can "take over" any side character listed in the thread. This includes faction leaders.

I didn't include the Voyager leader because I'm not sure who I want him or her to be.

I have decided that the IC will likely come on Tuesday (my next day off) or Wednesday. If you guys have any objections, or would like certain things fleshed out (I will make a local map first) I can delay it until Thursday (the next day off) or later if absolutely necessary. I'll make my own character(s) probably tomorrow.

On a related note, when I DO start the IC, how does an "event" system sound? In order to make sure everybody has something to do, I'll generate eventy-questy things in the world that characters can choose to participate in or not. This will also help me drive the main plot lines by passively moving you guys without God-Modding. I've never actually tried a system like this, but it seems interesting and efficient, so if you guys think it sounds good, I will GM that way.

For real though, Imma get on my CSs now and start working on an IC tonight, and probably have it by Thursday at the latest.

Still doing my CSs. I decided to do two: A brother and sister. It's a new character dynamic for me, as well as my first female main character. God help me.

While trying to find pictures for both of them, I had an epiphany: The internet must exist for the sole purpose of making people hate reproductive organs. Wherever I looked for appropriate images for my female character: Boobs. As I looked far-an-wide for a fitting male picture: Dicks. When I didn't see those things, I saw oversexualized clothed women and dudes with ridiculously large swords; both seeming to imply censored... B&D we'll say. It all makes it very difficult to find what you're looking for with efficacy.

I also realized that I try way too hard on character sheets that are for MY RP. I spent like two hours giving my characters names that have significant meanings, then another two digging through the web to find the "right" images (that just ended up being "close enough").

I ALSO realized that I set my goals for the week a little too high. Regardless, I will definitely try my hardest to avoid having a life so we can get this going ASAP!
