I guess that depends on the type of game you play. I tend to play characters that reflect their attributes even if they aren't class relevant. I dont know about cheating to have an attractive character but I'd think that if having an attractive character is important then you'd just put an 18 there

I can get the attributes reflecting character over class, which is fair. I just really thought charisma was force of will alone, not looks, so investing that and having it reflect looks really confuses me. Neat to hear about the paladin though.

I see then.

Anyways, I think Signe's done. Feedback is appreciated though, since I had very little idea of what I was doing.

Alright love the concept but I noticed a few things that were incomplete game mechanic wise on your sheet. 1. Your forgot to include the base saves for your saving throws, at first level Signe gets a +2 base save to reflex and will. 2. In your box for total attack bonus for your shortbow you should have a +4 there. Beyond that I see nothing that needs tweaking.

How is everyone else coming along?

Hey Glaydr, Is this still joinable? All this DnD thing seems interesting and I was meaning to join one.

Fine just need to figure out a good race for my barbarian. I mean I don't want to be human because reasons mainly what they get and a half orc is obvious but still cool and dwarf just don't think it will go with what I'm planning.

Well, halfling and gnome are probably bad ideas. Though I guess there are other classes besides elf and half-elf, if you understand ECL.

What is ecl? Also have looked at half elf as a possibility but seems a lot of benefits will be useless for a barbarian and elf I can't picture being a one.

Also Halfling or gnome would be funny as barbarian.

A ecl is a level adjustment due to race for example: drow have a ecl of 2 because they start out with things like spell resistance, spell like abilities or some other perks that make them more powerful then the standard races. The draw back is you lose out on two levels of class so when the rest of the party is level 20 fighters/ clerics/ wizards, you would be a level 18 rouge. As for races Inkwell dwarf isn't a bad idea since they get a constitution bonus, there is another race you could look into called goliaths, I don't remember if they have a ecl or not but to sum up what they are, Rockbiter from the Never Ending Story, smaller thoug

I love rockbiter it was so sad when the nothing came. Also they Goliath have plus 1 adjustment which isn't bad and a whole lot of strength.

Although I'm not entirely opposed to a swashbuckler, I'm rather hard pressed to find how that class fits in a Nordic world. Sing for your supper Wandering Spirit, convince me

Could be from a far off land. That's how most movies get around these things.

I'll be a native who left to go train with his master so close to that.

Also when apply racial stat change how do we do that? Just add it in?

Go with the your from a far off land, adds for a good plot point. Reason being nobody in Kogorune knows their are other lands, the knowledge that their are other lands lies with the gods and the one person who tried to discover them who is now a rotting corpse as a result.

You add your racial bonuses in after you roll and assign your stats.

I found a race that I like its called the Skarn. Not a lot to them but I like wha they have and not a lot of penalties.

Unfortunatly I'm gonna have to say no to a skarn, as interesting as the race is, it is too awkward and strange to be kept alive. As I stated earlier this world is fairly racy, if it is slightly monstrous or defy's what most people consider natural (i.e the skarn's spines), it usually winds up dead.

Have to admit they where along shot at best will keep looking.

I'm guessing the underwater races stay alive by hiding from the surface.
