Yuwanite Aestrosism fits perfectly with my nation, which...is good, since i control the area around the holy city.

Alright, so let me pitch an idea I intend to use for the Tohr:

The enclaves of Tohr Skivlieg's elves are warm, humid rainforests hidden away in volcanically active crags and defiles out in the realm's hinterlands. They're alien environments, sustained by both rich soil and ancient magics beyond the understanding of the current residents. The elves are 'uncivilized' in comparison to their cousins in that they're a bit closer to their fickle, fey roots and not exactly the more common angelic Tolkienesque fair folk. They're pale, black-eyed alien folk.

Now, despite their differences, the springelves and the Tohr have come to terms with one another. They sealed a pact long ago, in the wake of some primordial struggle, perhaps with the bigger, nastier giants or some dragons or something, and part of this pact was an exchange of goods.

Now here's the rub. I want to introduce a magical material, one that's inspired, no, wait, wholesale ripped from Pathfinder and D&D, that's a product of the elfish hot springs. The theory was that the trees of the region, warped by mysterious enchantments, suck up minerals from the geothermally heated waters in the soil. The trees that die can be chopped down and the metal that collected in their trunks can be gathered, treated, and smelted into 'living steel'. Living steel would be a vaguely green, glimmering metal that can grow back into the shape it was forged into. You know, essentially regenerative steel for weapons and the like. Weapons forged of the steel would be family heirlooms, many of them hundreds of years old, all bereft of nicks and scratches.

Really, it'd be more fluff than some sort of min-max gameplay mechanic considering how slowly that stuff would probably reform. No clutch, critical reshaping of a sword in a pivotal duel or anything.

Righty, lets see @Captain

#1: Terrain is acceptable (We are using magic after all) however the primary terrain designated by the map is not removable without permission from me (For example. a mountain range can not be retconned, however you can say that there are special hot springs or such on the mountains)

#2: Fae-style elves are fine, actually I support this idea.

#3: Magical elements are acceptable so long as they are approved by me. Seeing as you already specified as to why they couldn't be used as a powergaming tool...

It was never my intention to change whole regions, but rather that there'd be small pockets of enchanted hot springs bursting with bizarre, out-of-place foliage (big ol' ferns, tropical trees, etc. etc.). So yeah. Tiny changes in the grand scheme of things. Really out of the way.

Here is the final major pre-set religion, note that you don't have to follow these faiths if you do not wish to.

Filled in my own claim on the map (Tomorrow I will begin adding the magic system, conditional modifiers and some historical lore before we begin the OOC either the day after tomorrow or some time after that)

And internal map:

What do you think of a race of big googly eyed cats having lived next to the darkness for decades? They are going to be beggars for a while so it might come in handy.Edit: Yuwanite here I come! Screw Justinianism

Yes, I heard you wanted a faction that used to occupy the center?

An interesting idea, and means your faction was the first to encounter the Darthlukian. I might even have my first post take place during the awakening, I.E the event that brought forth the "Darkness."

I'll be calling it the Cataclysm, was going to use the Doom...but realized that sounds like a large event from a popular series of novels. >.>

You know this is very similar to the "living Weapons" the Darthlukian created and use. Only they don't use steel or trees, but are forged from flesh and blood and from an almost symbiotic relationship with the wielder.

Since it seems like alot of people are bunched north of the demon-circle thingo, here's an alternative placement for the Union:

Map Link

I leave it to the GM to decide which is a better placement. This second way leaves room for the eldritch monsters to hit the Union directly.

Sorry to change things for those of you who made the maps.

Given the disparity between population and military sizes considering I'm primarily using giants, and the fact that the Tohr are relatively slight for giants (still big, but you know), would it be possible to negotiate them down from being 1 for 100 to maybe 1 for 10? It's difficult to bend over backwards and reconcile their martial nature and 1.3 million population with the fact that only 400 or so will be showing up for any given fight.

@Captain: I was under the impression giants were really... giant. At only 10-12 feet tall your giants are more like extremely tall humans. I would statistically just classify them as an original race/sub-species of humans.

@Titanic: I am actually waiting for people to pick the western regions, I hope to see some empires take up the region (A holy empire of paladins is something I hope to see over there). While odd, there is nothing saying splitting the host to create an NPC is not allowed, so you may do so.

@Isotope: Hiya isotope!

I won't be that active in updating my Realm sheet for a while. Some issues with the plumbing in my house need to be fixed and it seems it may be a while before I am capable of actually working on the sheet without some interruption. Sorry for the delay. I will try and update the sheet later if I have the free time.
