This roleplay will be loosely based on the movie "The secret tale of arietty", I did not create the general plot, to say In the least!

Plot
The characters are no bigger than a few inches tall , and they all live together in an old, forgotten doll house in the basement of a mansion.
Like the movie, the characters (also known as the 'borrowers') will be terrified of human, while they borrow things such as sugar cubes, string, loose cloth, or anything else that the human won't 'miss'.
The mansion they live in is owned by an old lady who lives alone, but one summer the borrower's peace is disrupted when the old lady's daughter comes to take care of her. The daughter isn't near as kind, so she'll try to rid of the borrowers, without really knowing that they're there. (Meaning she'll just assume they're bugs or something, causing problems for our characters!)
So, long story short, I based this off of the secret tale of arietty and all of our characters will live together in a giant dollhouse in the basement, taking what they need while avoiding the old lady's daughter.

Extra information on appearance: She's very, very petite. So small she looks almost as fragile as, for example, a porcelain doll. She has a soft stare, and a small smile.
Bio: There's not much to tell that would be any different from any other story, she found this mansion while traveling alone, having lost her older sister on their adventure. After exploring the mansion on her own, Alice found this doll house that was a perfect fit for her. She cleaned it up, and began welcoming any other borrowers into the little dollhouse if they had nowhere else to go.

Personality: She's kind of quiet, and not very social unless she knows you. She's very kind to anyone and everyone, and she tends to look on the optimistic side of things. She's got a younger-sister type of personality, though she seems emotionally strong.
Hobbies: she loves sewing and making clothes, therefore she borrows a lot of sewing items and whatnot from the old lady.
Likes/dislikes: She likes sweet foods, cold weather, and animals. She dislikes being yelled at or scolded because she very sensitive, and she also hates hot weather. She's not fond of vegetables either.
Extra: she tends to be a follower instead of a leader, despite being in control of the doll house.

Name: Jim Hawkes

Extra information in appearance: A normal sized borrower, Jim often wears several layers of clothing at once which give him a stocky appearance.
Bio: Jim was born and raised far away from the mansion (at least for a borrower) under the floorboards of a bakery. After a dispute with his family he decided to leave and find a new home, to cut a long story short, after a long time traveling around he got caught in a plastic bag and carried away by the wind before landing in a bush by the mansion and being taken in by Alice to stay in the doll house. Since being taken in he has explored much of the house but still continues to uncover new passages and locations.

Personality: Jim is an optimistic and energetic person, he tends to go with his gut and intuition rather than thinking things through. He is very open about his feelings and quite a sensitive and genuine person. Some lot of the time he will fixate and focus on a single task before moving on, aiming to perfect things before continuing.
Hobbies: Tinkering, inventing, exploring, tasting new foods, flying (well more like gliding)
Likes: Sweet foods, conversation, colourful and sparkly things, using his inventions.
Dislikes: The dark, cats, the cold.
Extra: Jim has grown rather fond of the other doll house residents, in particular he feels a great deal of gratitude towards Alice for taking him in.

Name: Violet
Age: 16
appearance: Violet has olive skin and shiny black hair that reaches her waist. She has a straight nose and somewhat hollow cheeks set in a heart-shaped face. Violet is of average build and has slender hands that are often hidden behind gloves. She usually wears a white blouse over a black knee-length skirt or trousers. She wears mary jane shoes that she strives to keep shiny despite working a lot with mud and often has a flower crown aorund her head

Bio: Violet was taking out sunflower seeds from a bag one day, unaware that the seeds were packed and ready to be shipped to another city. When she finally made sense of things, she found herself at a supermarket aisle. From there she somehow managed to wander away till she found the mansion and eventually the dollhouse.

Personality: Violet is a frank and open person, ready to point out if someone's saying something technically incorrect or inconsiderate. She is somewhat friendly but not even those very close to her are safe from her brutal honesty. She is a bright individual, always willing to learn new things. She is observant of her surroundings and insignificant details; but quite often fails to read the facial expressions/emotions of others.

Hobbies: Gardening.Violet loves plants and has a miniature flowerbed that she takes care of. In the future she wishes to be able to take care of an even wider range of flora. She is very dedicated to taking care of her plants; going far as talking to them or playing music to them- as these help the plant grow better.

Likes: Classical music, tea time snacks and early mornings.Also has an interest in the language of flowers.
Dislikes: Violet doesn't take disregard towards any creature lightly. She values all life and feels personally offended if an animal or plant is called gross or boring. She also doesn't like being admist of chaotic or dangerous situations.
