This is a replacement for this RP.

Do you want to keep it NJO or can I make it Old Republic?

I typically prefer Old Republic, mostly because I know more about it. However, changing to OR would mean making changes to my character... which will be a pain in the ass.

If you're going to change I'd suggest sometime before the Clone Wars. Plenty of crime and what not spanning the galaxy and everyone knows that Jedi Order as long as they've seen star wars. Alternatively you could go post Yuuzhan Vong War, Post Fate of the Jedi and use the academy on Shedu Maad.

I'm game for anything really.

I third the Old Republic, I will also need to make changes as well to my character. Although I looked at your characters it didn't look like much changes are needed.

Ok, then. I'm thinking a something around 100 years before KOTOR, so there's a Sith empire to fight and plenty of Jedi as well.

Well there were several conflicts what time period did you have in mind?

As you're the GM I'd recommend you'd go with a time you're familiar with.

KOTOR was fun, but everything kind of gets ruined within a few weeks, so we could start just before it does, with Bastilla leaving just as we start. That way we know what's happening, but aren't directly involved.

The fun with the Jedi is the only real time you can't chose is during the Rebellion. Unless you do a group of Padawans on the run from the Empire. Jedi always have people to fight.

For a religious order that teaches peace, they are remarkably violent. They probably got caught up in the loop long ago, when people realized that they could always ask people with super powers for help if they wanted to. It's the thing that happens with superheros and villains in the comics, or with police and criminals in real life.

If we are with the KOTOR timeline, then the events will go like:
1) We hear that Bastilla has been sent on a special mission with the fleet. We are still on Coruscant or Dantooine being trained, some as initiates (if anyone wants to just be starting off) and some as Padawans. I know they said "we wouldn't normally accept an adult for training", but we can come up with reasons for us to be accepted, either because we aren't adults yet, or because there is some sort of extenuating circumstances (we were rescued from the Sith who kidnapped us to train us, but didn't get far in the training before we were rescued or something.)
2) A few days later we here that her ship was destroyed. We want to rescue her, but in order to keep us from doing that the Jedi send us all on another mission.

I would like to start at the beginning of KOTOR, when Bastilla is sent on her mission. We'll need a reason for them to accept adults for training if we are too old, though.

We could be padawans that have already been trained from initiates and been in the order as long as everyone else :P

That would work, as long as we aren't too old. A forty year old Padawan is a bit weird.
