"Ok, that sounds cool..." I drifted off. I wanted to go because I needed a backup inhaler just in case something happened. The last couple of days, my asthma had been messing with me and I needed a back up. "Well, I'm going to need you to get something for me-" I started. "You know what, never mind, it's fine." I pushed those thoughts away. We'd be out of here in no time, I'd be fine. "I can see our cabin up ahead. Things look alright. Nothing rowdy is going on."

I looked sideways at Daisy, ignoring what she had said about the cabin. "What do you want me to get for you? I'm sure it won't be any trouble. Another ice pack?" I asked thinking of her bruises, trying to figure out what she could want from the infirmary.

I took a deep breath and sighed. There was no need to keep secrets. It wasn't a big deal or anything I just didn't like to tell people I basically couldn't breathe sometimes. "I have asthma. It's not too bad or anything, I just think I need another inhaler in case mine gives out on me while we're makin' a run for it." I patted my pocket where I kept it. "I probably won't even need it. You don't have to get one."

I looked at her for a moment before nodding. "Sure thing, how many do you want?" I asked, glancing down at her pocket that she had tapped. "How long does one usually last?" I wondered, who knew how long we were going to be out there for and how often she would need it.

We were coming up on our cabin. It was quiet, so I figured everything was just fine. "No clue. I don't use this often. I've had this one for a while." I shrugged and thought for a moment. "I haven't had an attack in a few years... I guess one will do just fine." I gave him a small smile.

I smiled in return. "Good." I said and looked ahead at our cabin.
"I wonder how many people are planning things like we are..." I mused aloud, wondering how many plans would be put into action, how many people would fail because they didn't know the truth. "How many are trustworthy? How many are Jaxlors?"

"Good question." I bit my lip. "Most of the people from our cabin came from the first camp we were at, right? Those guys can't be Jaxlors. At least.... I don't think they are?" I said as we approached the door. It was cracked. I lightly kicked the bottom of the door with the tip of my foot. It creaked open, revealing an almost empty room. There were about three or four people sitting on their beds, packing, sleeping, etc.

I followed Daisy into the cabin, glancing around the quiet room. Walking over to our beds, I lowered myself onto my bed gently, relieved to finally be sitting down. "I wonder where everyone is." I murmured so only Daisy could hear me. "There's not much to do at this place apart from eat, sleep and train."

"People are probably doing the same thing you and I are trying to do." I leaned closer toward him before I sat down in my bed, speaking just loud enough for him to hear me. "Which isn't good for us." I looked up at him as I kicked my boots off.

"We need to find Luke, Penelope and Christy. We can trust them. They can help us and we can help them." I told her as I rubbed my shoulder.
Looking around the room once more, I noticed a few bag's lying about. Seeing as we didn't have any we would probably have to take some, we needed to carry our things somehow.

"I can go check the Food Hall. You stay here and relax a little bit." I watched as he rubbed his shoulder. "If they aren't in there, we're just going to have to figure something out." I yawned, covering my mouth with my hand. I wasn't even sure if Sam could understand me through my yawning. "That sound like a plan?" I said clearly.

I stared at her. "Uh, sure... but all I heard was 'figure something out' and that sounds good to me." I said with a smile as I shifted on the bed. "So, you go do all the hard work and I'll just wait here. Pour myself a bubble bath shall I?" I asked with a smirk as I lay back on the bed, trying to hold back a grimace.

I stood up, stretching my arms up towards the ceiling and sliding my boots back on. "Yeah, you might as well have a glass of wine while you're at it." I laughed. "Do your thing, take a nap or something." I smiled as he lay back on his bed. "I'll be back in a bit, I guess. Hopefully they aren't far." I took a scrunchie from my wrist and pinned my hair up with it. "Adios!" I gave him a gave him a quick wave before I headed towards the door.

Once she was out of the cabin, I let out a groan of pain that I'd been holding in for the last half hour. My whole being was aching. I clenched my eyes shut against the dim cabin and tried to think of something else that would take my mind off of it. I needed something to hold back the pain, something that could just numb my limbs so I could sleep and get away from it. If I was sleeping, I wouldn't be able to feel anything.

I stepped outside and scanned the area from where I stood. There was barely anyone out and it was starting to get a little weird. It had been almost two hours since the incident in the Food Hall and I hoped everything had calmed down within the camp. Taking a deep breath and stuffed my hands into my pockets and began my short walk to the cafeteria.

I lay on the bed with my eyes closed for a full five minutes before I heard a hushed conversation from across the room.
"What do we-"
"Shhhh-"
"No, I think he's asleep. He's been lying there for a while, I mean, if you look like that when you're awake then somethings wrong with you." I willed myself not to move a muscle, feeling their eyes looking over at me.
"Do you really think we'll be sent out there? What if they're just trying to scare us-"
"Why would they be doing that? What would they gain from scaring us? No. They want to get rid of us, because they can't afford us." A low voice growled, interrupting the worried whisper of the younger boy.
"Well, yeah, but what would they gain from killing us? Stop it, Joe. Listen." A females stern voice grew louder as the older of the two boys tried to interrupt. "Why wouldn't they just send us out to other camps? I mean some of those bases are more like cities and towns, there's plenty of room for us. It doesn't smell right to me, they're covering something up."
"Yeah but what? We don't know anything, and you heard what they said, Em... if we don't go we'll get thrown in jail for the rest of our lives- probably released into the front line eventually."
"Then lets get out of here." The younger boy seemed to squeak at this suggestion from the girl, Em. "Listen to me, Spence. We can't just sit here and do nothing. Either we'll die tomorrow or we'll die the next day, or the day after that. Don't you see what I'm saying? We're in this war, we're probably going to die, and I'd rather do it fighting!"

As I began to walk toward the food hall, I saw someone running towards me. "Hey! Can you tell me-" I reached my hand out to tap the person, but he just shoved past me with a scowl on his face.
"Damn, Tilerians." I heard him mumble under his breath. He glanced at me once more as he ran to who knows where.
"Oh..." I said to myself, suddenly getting nervous. Maybe no one was outside for a reason. Maybe everyone had found out about the Jaxlor's plans. And here I was, just outside like nothing was going on. With a huff, I continued my walk, hoping at least a few people were still in the Food Hall.

After a few minutes of walking, I'd finally made it. I slowly opened the door and peeked inside. It was completely empty. There was no smell of food cooking, there were no bodies seated at tables. It was like a ghost town. I took another step inside to scan the room. Chairs were scattered across the floor, there was blood smeared across the wall, and tables turned on their sides. Whatever had happened here was much worse than the riot the day before. I wasn't going to do anymore looking around. Something wasn't right and I wanted to get back to our cabin as soon as possible.

"Look, I'm sure there are others in this camp who want to get out of here as much as we do. We've just gotta join together." Em continued.
"I'm all for getting out of here, but who do we trust? How do we even get out of here?" The older guy Joe spoke, obviously angry about the whole situation. "The security's will be tight, especially after what happened at breakfast. I say, we wait for Nina to get back and then we'll discuss it."
"Joe-"
"No Em.. I'm the oldest, I make the decision. We wait for Nina to get back. Okay?"
There was a loud irritated sigh that I figured was from Em. "Fine."
"Spencer?"
"Yeah, we wait for Nina. I know."

I turned around to leave when I saw someone in the doorway. "Excuse me." I said, trying to get by. But the man didn't move. He was tall, brunette, and definitely needed a shave. "Can I get by?" I tried to walk around him but he still didn't budge.
"Where do you think you're going, Tilarian?" He said in a gruff voice. He smirked, looking me in the eyes.
"Tilerian? You are too. Now please move." I stared at him. I knew he was a Jaxlor, but I didn't want any trouble. "Excuse me." I shoved him out of my way. He glared at me, grabbing my arm and squeezing it tight.
"I said, where are you going?" He growled.

I lay there, my eyes still closed pretending to be asleep, as I thought. Were they Jaxlor's? They certainly didn't sound like it... but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions before inviting them to escape with Daisy and I.
"Does Mom know where we are?" I heard Spencer ask quietly, picking up conversation again.
"I don't know, Spence. I doubt it, we've been moved around a lot, there's bound to be a muck up with the communication." Em answered sounding more comforting now the subject had been changed.
"Then she won't know we're being sent off to die. That we're being murdered in no less than 24 hours-"
"Joe. Shut. Up." Em cut him off with a growl. "You know Mom, she's strong, and she'll be safe in Til."
I opened my eyes, knowing what I had to do as soon as she said the word.
They all hushed up once I started moving, holding back a groan as I sat up and turned to face them.
