The first call came into the police station at 6 am. An early communter saw something unusual. The officer that responded to the call immediately called the natural guard to report the unusual sight. The officer reported that there was a pyramid in the middle of Benjamin Banneker Park. The national guard was hesitant to believe such a claim but they sent two agents to check out the claim.

[a robotic female voice can be heard] Location arrived. releasing unit-7an1kaz1. starting decontamination.

there is a tiny little room with a person sitting in the corner sleeping [tanikazi]. the room is full of gas. the gas is sucked into a bunch of vents

*where am I?* I opened my eyes slowly and saw that I was in a room. the room was dark green and very dirty. *still here?* I got up and then all of a sudden I heard that damm voice again "Decontamination complete now releasing" *yes still here* a big white door all of a suddenly opens and reveals a hallway. pissed off I walked through the door and saw a big dark green hallway *those damm robots are probably still here I should be careful* walked through the hallway and then looked to my right to see a brokenish robot I screamed and kicked it over. the robot was broken and shut down long before I awoken it seemed

all of a suddenly I feel a big headache and clutch my head. seeing my entire past blur before my eyes. being born. 6 birthday. 16th birthday. fighting for my life. joining the new order. fighting again. and suddenly I'm here. then I notice something at the corner of my eye. I turn around and there is millions of cells. each holding different creatures

*why am I here? who took me here? it all doesn't matter. what matters is I get out of here and head back to The new order HQ and rejoin the fight*

Gwennyth sat gingerly in the back of the shiny black sedan, her arms crossed as she stared out the window at the familiar scenery. It had only been 2 weeks since she'd started her internship as a DNA analyst and already, they gave her a job on the field. Nobody had briefed her about what was happening, or what she was meant to do. All she knew was that they had found something strange and had asked her to take a look. But she was only an intern with absolutely no experience on the field. How was she supposed to be of any use? She was completely clueless, even more so as she was going in alone. She had no supervisor, no assistant, it was just going to be her.

As they neared the intersection close to Benjamin Banneker Park, she could already see it. Poking above the trees was what seemed to be the tip of a giant pyramid, just like the ones in Egypt. The driver dropped her off at the edge of the park and she quickly gathered her gear and made her way towards the strange structure. She was carrying two large metal suitcases and a satchel that hung at her side containing her notebook. As she moved closer to what seemed to be an entrance into the pyramid, Gwen had to stop and drop her gear. Not only was it extremely heavy, but she also needed time to take in the sight before her. She stood staring up at the highest point of the pyramid, wondering what secrets it held. Even more so, why did they need a DNA analyst?

I kept walking a bit and then noticed a exit but a person walked right inside looking around I immediately looked for a place to hid and noticed a tiny closet. so quickly I opened the closet and walked inside. the room was a lot bigger than I expected. it had a computer that seemed to be staring through security cameras. so a stared through and changed the camera to the entrance and watched. noticing the person had no ears or tails thats strange. I kept on watching her to see when she would leave *shes probably behind all of this!* I thought in my head

Runo was sleeping peacefully in his tank. He was having a really nice dream, too. Xicca and he had found some really good fish and had spent most of the day exploring a coral reef in the area...

As he continued dreaming in his tank, the merman remained completely unaware of both his location and his situation. For all he knew for now, he could actually still be in the ocean he called home. Along with Xicca...

Gwen knew that it would have been better to wait for someone to give her direction, but she was much too curious about the pyramid. Where had it come from? Unable to control herself, she took a step further inside and dragged her metal suitcases in with her. She wasn't even sure whether she was actually allowed to venture further yet but her head jerked to the side as she thought she heard a door close nearby and wondered who was here. Were they even human?
Looking around her, she had found herself in a green hallway that seemed to lead to various doors. Her eyes circled her surroundings and she caught sight of a security camera in the corner of the ceiling. "Well, there's definitely someone watching," Gwen said quietly to herself. She gave one wave of her hand, as though she was trying to use the force on the camera.
Despite the fact that she felt a little scared, she knew she would have to press onward. Without looking, Gwen bent slightly and tried to pick up her metal suitcases. She hadn't noticed that one of them had not been latched securely and the case opened with a loud metallic bang. A few test tubes dropped out and made clinking noises as they hit the floor and Gwen quickly knelt down and gathered all of her fallen equipment, slapping her palm to her forehead for being so clumsy.

Fixer turned one to hear the message "door rotor damaged in sector 85" Fixer answered "Acknowledged heading to sector 85." Fixer then began walking through the hallways heading toward the damaged door. When he arrived at the door he began to take it apart looking for the broken piece.

James had arrived at the site of the pyramid via chopper he looked at his target, he was still confused for some strange reason command wanted to send him alone he didn't know why but it made feel uneasy he checked the large open door open and walked in he checked his weapons and went in. The place was strange the green hallway reminded him of something out of a sci-fi movie still, he kept going ready for any treats after he went deeper in he saw security camera "so their is someone watching" he thought he looked forward and saw a human there "hey what are you doing this is a restricted area identify yourself!" he pointed his weapon at the female ready to fire.

Shea pushed her glasses to the top of her head and studied the pyramid. She couldn't believe that something like this had simply appeared out of nowhere. Where had it come from? Why was it here? And most importantly what was why she was here. To discover who and why. She was a biologist with a degree in psychology. They were hoping that she could get them some answers. Shea gathered her courage and headed into the building.

Gwen was still in the process of gathering some of her test tubes off the floor when she suddenly heard a commanding voice behind her. From the sounds of it, he seemed to also be holding a weapon. Abandoning her task of fixing her equipment, she stood and submissive turned to face the authority figure. She held up the ID card that was hanging around her neck from a black lanyard. Since she was an intern, and a new one at that, it was only a plain white card with her name written on it in black permanent marker but it still had the thick black security line down the back of it that gave her access to the labs.

"Ugh, my name is Gwennyth Harlow. I'm a junior DNA analyst at the SciTech laboratory... well, I'm an intern anyway." Gwen was always stumbling with her words, even more so when someone was pointing a gun at her. "Here is my card. I know it doesn't look legit... I mean, authentic, but I only started a couple of weeks ago so I haven't really settled in yet." She tapped at the white card hanging around her neck. "I'm sorry, there wasn't really anyone guarding the place when I got here so I decided to head straight in."

Just then, she caught a glimpse of another girl entering the pyramid and was relieved to see that she also looked as though she was a scientist. She was glad she didn't have to deal with this alone.

Roxy wasn't happy. She had been just about to take some well deserved time off when the got pulled back in. Her supervisor had told only that they had an unusual situation that might require she special skills. She was training as a special ops solider. Although she hadn't technically completed her training she was so fair ahead in most of the areas that they had agreed to give her the test early but now instead of the R&R she should be enjoying before the test she was being sent to some strange situation. They hadn't given her much information, but that wasn't unusual. They rarely gave her the information she needed but she still succeed. She would do so again.

When she arrived at her destination she didn't know what surprised her more the fact that there was a huge pyramid in the middle of the park or that she wasn't the first to arrive. Apparently some brilliant official sent the braineyacks in first. Which was the stupidest thing they could have done. Scientist were fine in the lab but no one know what was inside the pyramid. Scientist would be no match if there were hostiles inside. She cursed as she jumped out of the car. She ran to the pyramid pulling her gun as she followed the red head inside.

WEB woke slowly. Something was different. It took him a moment to identify the difference. the ship wasn't moving anymore. Atleast he assumed it was a ship. He knew for a fact that they had been moving through space and now they weren't. He didn't know where they were. He wasn't even sure how he had gotten here. Last thing he remember was heading out to met his mistress. Then green halls and the cells. Over a hundred cells by his estimate. Each holding a different type of being. Someone he couldn't see throw him into one of the dark cells. Noe he was awake again. First thing he needed to do was gather information. He sent his thoughts through the ship.

Above her were stars. Through the eye of her telescope, she saw them, strewn out across the sky. In her telescope's viewfield, they appeared to be contained within a round mechanical hole. If she swivelled her telescope, adjusted the knobs lightly like so, she could point out constellations. To her, the constellations were the Goddesses' work, their hands playing, assembling the stars into a myriad of shimmering, twinkling images. She marvelled at their beauty. But she knew she couldn't focus on the stars. No, she was here to search the stars, to find something much more exciting.

A shoulder-bag rested across her chest. She slipped it off, pausing from her watch to rifle through the contents. From the bag she found her knife, her tablets, the scripture. The latter was what she pulled out; A large, dusty parchment piece. It was covered in symbols, the hieroglyphics of Medusa. Just looking at it gave her a surge of pride and confidence. Scholars had worked over this text for centuries, trying to crack the code of the ancient Goddesses, their languages all differing and ever-twisting to their desire. But she had solved it, had puzzled over this particular script for months before revealing its secrets. And now, she was certain she would discover whatever it was these hieroglyphics had tried so hard to cover up.

She gave it a cursory read through, two or three times just to be certain. On top of this hill, overlooking the capital city of Knossos, once the moon had risen and the stars shone brightest, she would find the Pyramid. A triangular artifact would illuminate itself within the sky, and with it, the Pyramid would come. Within the Pyramid, she would find the Goddesses. And then they would grant her ascension. She would admit, she did not know what ascension was. In fact, she was nervous if she was even truely worthy for that, whatever it promised. But surely, if the Goddesses were within this Pyramid, then it could only be a good thing.

Placing the parchment back into her bag, the Gorgon slid over to the telescope, adjusting the knobs and looking through the viewpiece with growing anxiety. What if she were doing all this for nothing? Would she ever be forgiven for mistranslating it? Her commissioner wouldn't pay her for false information. Instead, she would most likely be discredited and seen as a fraud. No, she needed to be right. She had to search the skies.

It was then she caught it. She recoiled back a little, hearing her Hydras squirm at the sudden movement. The white serpents coiled around her head, and she patted one, reassuring them it was alright. No, she had probably seen just a smudge on the glass, mistaking it for a triangle. She bent down to look through the eyepiece again. There it was. A bright, glimmering triangle, hovering under the stars. Its blue frame shimmered as it entered through the sky. She was suddenly aware of how immense it was, of the sudden pressure in the air as it moved down towards the surface of her planet. She backed up from the telescope, no longer needing the tool, her blue eyes wide as the Pyramid sank towards the earth.

As it neared where she stood, thousands of feet above her head, she thought she saw the bottom open up. The Pyramid seemed to open, its mouth dislocating like that of a snake's jaw, and the inside humming and glowing with bright blue energy.

She held her head, her Hydras squirming under her claw, hissing out as she lost her balance. Her head felt dizzy, and she sank to the ground, curling up as her eyes flickered, then floated shut. Darkness took over her vision, and she felt numb, unable to move, unable to think, the Pyramid floating above her...
Daboia awoke with a jolt. Her head slammed against something hard and she hissed, leaning back. Everything in her vision seemed to blur and distort, her breath rolling out like fog, smudging the glass in front of her face. She wanted to raise her hand, but her arms felt like lead, and her Hydras seemed to flop lifelessly in front of her face, blocking her vision. The Gorgon whimpered, her forehead burning from the impact, feeling useless and unable to do anything but lay there. She could, however, toss her head a bit, and that thankfully made it easier to see.

Wherever she was, it was bright, overwhelmingly so. Everything appeared to be a green-blue color, but too mechanical to simply be a part of the jungle. No, this was definitely not the same hill she had stood on moments earlier. Through the fogged glass, she could see strange shapes all around her. It was all vaguely exotic, disorienting, like waking up in an alien hospital. She very much wanted to scream, to panic and slither into a corner somewhere, but she could barely lift her head now, and her tail could only rattle slightly in protest.

At some point, Daboia heard a voice. It did not seem to speak her language, but it was indeed a voice. She wondered if it was a Goddess. Afterall, she could only conclude she was inside the Pyramid now. Perhaps she had ascended. But she didn't feel any different. Once the voice finished speaking, she could hear some kind of gas expel from inside her tank, feel it against her skin. A smoke seemed to fill her tank. The glass squeaked, dislodged, then slid open, landing with a loud bang on the floor as the pod opened.

Groggily, the snake-woman found the strength to sit up, her Hydras also stirring before rising up as well, both Gorgon and her serpents alive once more.

Tanikazi noticed that there was three people now staring through the camera and watching the door at the same time *are they even human? they must be some sort of alien. god I want to hit something right now* Tanikazi wanted to burst through the door and kill them all in a heap of nervous rage but he knew he couldn't take them all on. so reluctantly Tanikazi sat down and kept watching the cameras *will they ever leave?*

Runo shifted in his sleep, still dreaming about his previous home even though some outside noise sneaked in. Someone shouting?

In his dream, the merman brushed it off as something that one of the humans on the beach were going on about. They could be just as noisy as the whole pod together, but sometimes he really had no idea what they were talking about. It wasn't that he didn't understand human speech, just not all of it. And this voice sounded kind of far away, too, so he didn't really have any way of understanding what was being said very easily.

Ignoring it for now, the boy continued watching a group of humans playing in the water. His natural camouflaging abilities kept him practically invisible to most eyes, especially those of the creatures on land, so he felt fairly safe in his observation. Xicca had gone off somewhere for the time being, so he was alone for now.

Gwen sighed and went back to picking up her fallen test tubes, carefully replacing them back in her metal suitcase. "Look, I don't really know. All I know is I got a call this morning and minutes after, there was black sedan waiting for me outside of the laboratory. He dropped me off here and here I am. I'm not sure what I've been expected to do or why this pyramid is here so unfortunately, I'm kind of the wrong person to be asking. I'm an analyst, not Einstein." Gwen's words just tumbled out of her mouth, completely bypassing any conscious thought as she closed her case and securing the latches.

Gwen lifted both her metal cases, staring at the metal door closest to her, wondering if that was the one she had heard slam shut earlier. She decided she would check it out later, but there was the issue of her lack of security escort. Her ventures would have to wait. Instead, she turned to her unexpected companions. "So what did they send you guys here for?" If she got an idea about any of their objectives, maybe she could figure out her own.

"You must be the DNA person they said would be here. Shea answered with a smile. "I'm sorry that you got her before I did but I had to go to a briefing. Apparently they gavel more information than they gave you. You are to take DNA samples of anything we find inside the pyramid. I am here to determine who and why." She held out her ID so that the solider could see that she was official.

Gwen nodded in understanding, looking closely at the ID card she presented: Shea O'Reilly. "Cool, well, I'm Gwen. Looking forward to working with you," she said cheerfully. Once again, Gwen took a glance at the nearest door, one that kind of looked like a closet. "Okay, so since we're kind of acquainted, I think there might be someone behind that door. When I came in, I think I heard it slamming shut." Gwen said as she approached it, pointing to it like an interested child. "Should we check it out?" She directed the question mostly to the armed individuals with them. After all, they were the ones with the guns.
