Just my spot of personal opinion: Wilson, I might be wrong but it's starting to feel like you made the Draconian race for the single and sole purpose of getting in a war with the Eternal Union.

Thats pretty much all he ever does. Even when he does create a peaceful race he finds ways to come into conflict with me.

Also i'm not adding any restrictions? I have made restrictions and I am willing to add restrictions and or weaknesses. At this point Wilson all you are doing is targeting me.

Duck, you are the one that has changed the least from the beginning of the roleplay, the only one that has consistently used magic for any and all purposes, and had it be better than pretty much everything. You say that you use magic for everything- investing in research that won't be used, such as antimatter, is really quite ridiculous. And if they DID research it, what are the chances of a ship that runs completely off of magic will have both the antimatter and the ease of transport for it to put it on a shuttle.

I'm sorry duck for targeting you, but if you don't want pretty much everyone telling you different, try thinking a bit more about what you say.

I was originally planning on the Draconians coming in behind and destroying the hive-fleet, then possibly taking down the remnants of the EU fleet and taking the world. Or, alternatively, let the battle play out, and if it's just the EU and the Hive, then they'll come in and destroy the survivors, and then take the planet.Really, i was just going to have them opportunistic and very asshole-y.

No, he did it to piss off Duck. You really didn't see that coming?

So I'm gonna guess that the answer to my question is yes. Wilson, I do have my own disagreements with Duck and I know that you think you're trying to keep some sort of fair balance, but this is a bit... petty, don't you think?

Anything in the fleet that has missiles was recently given some anti-matter missiles to go along with those. So yes, most of the ships have anti-matter.

The Valkians would've pursued war with the EU if they ever did an action like the one they did to Earth; they'd be considered a threat, and the last threat they had they completely demolished. Similar to the Krikket in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, if you happen to have read it. They can be peaceful with a bad side. Well- neutral. The Valkians see the crowd- when Duck deliberately put that he affected them for whatever reason, then yes, the Valkians would watch, and yes, they will become alarmed. Such an influence is dangerous, and it appears that I'm the only one that really sees it. If someone can influence the crowd around them, they could elevate themselves to a position of power without even being all that convincing. And, it may spread from person to person, based on how it's heard. Read some books; like Graceling and Fire. They'll give you a new outlook on it.

The Draconians were to counteract him, yes. I got tired of him pretty much doing that, but I'm not dead-set on war. Raw materials aren't much to Draconians- they are a spacefaring power now, and when you can move about in space, raw materials becomes rapidly cheap. Offering them raw materials is kind of like offering an adventurer passing by a nice rusty sword if he helps you fight off a bandit or two. An adventurer, at least in the gaming sense, would already have a nice, sharp, well made sword.

On the other hand, they were made to be a warring race. It's straight from Rogue's app, really, just with more realistic changes. The Lightships won't be the main fleet- he seriously overpowered them by giving them formidable shields, AND mass producing them. They'd be insanely expensive. This time, there'll probably be 11 total, 6 of which are in the first fleet. 4 will probably be in the other one; a fifth will be out, solo, scouting.

I'm not exactly the best person, but I do try changing things that i think that need to be changed. I've seen little change in Duck's overpowered, whether a little or a lot, strength, and what he has said hasn't really convinced me. I asked Keyguy before I even began making the app, and the Draconians purpose since then became something to keep him in check. Duck hates the Draconians; if he won't change anything here, and actually enacts them in the roleplay, [since KeyGuy is a pacifist in the debates/arguments] then I'll just go and blow some crap up. I could, alternatively, have them appear over the Septonians' world, and if they think it's not all that great, they'll lay waste to it and plant their flag in the ashes. Or the Valkians- but the Valkians have heavy defenses. Really heavy. And it's all in one star system, so the Draconians would be uneasy with that. Weak outer walls, but help could come quick from the much stronger fortified walls. I could attack Earth and the Sol System, but there's already ASTA moving in, and the other ship that i don't quite remember, and there is Nouvelle, but there is more than a battlefleet's worth in orbit already, whatwith Human, Eternal Union, Valkian, and Sarzjihat (Did I spell that right?) ships. I could go to the Sarzjihat, but they're also a military power, so the Draconians would be uneasy with that too. A Hivemind world might work, but idk where they are- they might not even be close enough to teleport to.

And Duck already has, more or less, four wars going, as he said. I'm taking that those are against humanity, Septonians, Hiveminds, and the Etherals. As it is, if Duck can hold his own, he is far overpowered. At least, if the Hiveminds and Etherals hadn't just attacked ONE world. In a single fleet. But if all four sides attacked, then Duck would be very hard-pressed to win, and if the Draconians joined, there would be an ACTUAL conquest here.

Honestly, I'm not sure what i'm going to do about New Condia- There is a fleet inbound, both Hive/Etheral, and Draconian. I might destroy the Hivemind, or I might try to take the planet for myself. I may lose in the process, especially if the EU's allies show up. I wouldn't gain anything useful from EU tech, since everything is magical, but I'd gain more from Hivemind/Etheral tech, which is technological and understandable.

Petty? Maybe a bit, but I am indeed tired of Duck and his sudden unexplained items, and then some excuse. A people that worked entirely on magic... having enough spare antimatter on board to shove it onto SEVERAL shuttles and send it at the enemy? Come on, really? If he used other technologies, then that'd be plausible, but he's just pulling crap out of his ass, and giving an excuse from the same origin.

If he has antimatter on board just cause, then his ships will have things they won't need onboard, and will waste space. That means they would not be as powerful as they are- meaning that they should be toned down in the first place.

No one else can use magic, no one else can change magic, no one else can block magic, no one else can understand magic, and magic can be used for every single thing in the world, while everyone else uses thermodynamics, quantum physics, and more. If a ship is multirole, it exceeds at none. If a ship is specialized, it exceeds at one, and is good for very few.

But Duck says that his ships are multirole, with specialization in many areas. He can have great shields, while having enough space for oddly placed high explosives, while still being equal to other ships. He can scan in ways no one else can, communicate in ways that no one can block or intercept.

Please tell me why I am so fucking petty when I keep seeing this. Call me a bastard for being like this, but when I see all this from some brony who has consistently integrated unreasonable, illogical items into science fiction, with emphasis on science, with the only compromise for having a bunch of talking magical space unicorns is turning them into angels after one and a half to two years, then YES, I may get a bit petty. YES, when the same guy has been around as long as the GM himself, and still has not changed. A bit better, yes, I can see that very clearly, but with nearly no changes. In the beginning, the Equestrians were peaceful people... who built up a giant army and seemed to love conflict.

If anyone has any objections that they would like to point out about how flawed I am and how perfect Duck is, then I will politely inform you that I'm done, and I will join Cale Tucker in removing myself from the roleplay because I am sick and tired of the same exact thing Duck has been doing.

Any questions? Remarks? Memes? Comments?

It really doesn't take that much anti-matter to cause a big explosion. It's only a few grams worth, and they are taking the missiles and loading them onto the shuttles. They do not want to risk the missiles just getting sent back by a pulse thing, so there using the shuttles instead. And whats with the insults? Was it necessary to call me a brony and bring up the Equestrians yet again? Your not doing this to balance me out, your doing this because you hate me.

Also how about you look at Darkwolf for a minute? He has done some pretty OP things in recent posts. His ships are ridiculous. He gained this overpowered tech capable of making a small compliment of 5 battleships face a dreadnought, another 5 battleships, and planetary defensive stations, and the rest of the fleet that accompanies that dreadnought and the 5 battleships within two posts.

Edit:And those ships seem to be capable of shrugging off my strongest weapons.

I'm just imagining the massive civil upheaval and social revolution/renaissance that the Eternal Union would have had to do in order to let them advance in the age of science in the first place...

A majority of their things are magic, but they still have worked on science as well. Its pretty much stated in their religion that to reach Utopia science and magic must both be advanced.

Edit:They have always used regular science with there magic, they integrate the two. Hence why you will hear me reference magitech sometimes.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... this is where I will call bullshit on the idea that a religion that is supposedly not even mandatory was enough to keep the magically inclined minority of the population to stop them from abusing their magic to keep a hold on the population with absolutely no Immortal to keep them in check (EDIT) and try to stamp out the magitech revolution with their authority?

I mean, even in MLP 99% of the actual academic institutions and higher studies were focused strictly on magic.

No point in referencing MLP, as this is not MLP.

And the magitech revolution also actually helped advance magic by a lot. Plus there were other artifacts that were in possession of non-magically inclined people that suppress magic. And what reason could they have to stop science advancing? The Iscandarians have always been a very progressive people. I know a lot more about them then you do, as I did create them, so I would know how they act better.

Gems and ruins that rely of other devices. And no I am not pulling shit out of my ass. The more complicated things do require more then runes and gems. The runes and gems merely act as a conductor for magical power and a basis for the spell, its then thrown into the projector which forms the actual shield.
