Someone was talking to her. Gia looked up to see a man's face. She sniffed and found he was also one of her kind.
"The m-monsters," she said, shaking. "They're coming... they k-killed my pack... my parents..."
Her eyes were wide and it was apparent she had been through a lot of trauma. "They slaughtered them... mother... she told me to hide... told me to... to run..." the child started rocking again, her eyes staring at the floor, at nothing. "I ran... I ran... three d-days... so hungry... the monsters... they're coming to... to get me now..."

Carlson, concerned, reached under and pulled her out "there there, lil' lady" He picked her up, resting her on his hip. "you need a drink. Lets get you some water" He comforted, walking her over to the bar and asking the other bartender for a glass of water.

Kalib asked a bartender to get some ice for Andrew's head, putting it at the back of Andrew's head when he got it. "How long does it take for a concussion to heal?" He asked half jokingly. He wanted to say 'what is the rate of healing for werewolves?' but that was a joke for a later time. It took half his willpower not to jokingly call out for a medic like the video games he so often watched on YouTube. "Hey, can ya take a glance outside?" The question was directed at Stiofan but it was open to the other werewolves at the tavern.

Stíofán reluctantly agreed with Kalib, by giving him a nod. Why should I have to risk my life to do their dirty work!? he asked himself If they can trust me to do an omega's work, then they should bloody well make me one!
Stíofán walked outside, and noticed the hunter on the roof. He hoped that if he didn't act too suspicious, then the hunter would think that he was just a human. He walked down, and turned a corner, so that he was out of the hunter's sight. Then, Stíofán went to the building that the hunter was on, and began climbing.

Looking back to ask Stiofan how it was outside, Kalib cursed to himself to see he wasn't there. "Shit shit shit shit shit, Carlson's going to kill me." He looked over to said person who was still preoccupied and then to Andrew to check his condition. "Aw man, I got to get him back before crud hits the fan. Carlson is going to have my head when he finds out or worse, the hunter will get Stiofan's." Torn between sneaking off to get Stiofan and staying to help Carlson there and then, Kalib gave a quietly panicked yell inward. "I'm such an idiot." He thought last, lessening the pressure of the ice bag on Andrew and about to step off to get Stiofan.

Gia allowed the stranger to pick her up. He had blonde hair in a braid and eyes that she couldn't decide if they were blue or violet. She sniffed him tentatively and for the first time in three days felt a sense of safety. He was the Alpha. And he hadn't killed her. Yet.
After he sat her on the bar and she had a glass of water in her hands, which she downed most of in about two seconds, she looked at him with huge puppy eyes. Her mother had once told her that sometimes Alphas would kill members of other packs who trespassed on their territory. She gulped in worry.
"I didn't mean to trespass," she assured him quickly. "I was so scared. I didn't know what to do. I just ran... and ran... then I smelled an Alpha and..." she looked down, blushing a bit. "I thought maybe... you would help me..."

She looked back up at him with wide sad eyes. "I'm the only one left. The monsters... they killed everyone... My pack is gone," tears bubbled in her eyes once again. "What do I do?" she asked. If she had been in wolf form she would have been on the ground with her ears back and whimpering, rolling over to show her belly and neck in submission.

Carlson took in everything the little girl in his lap said as he settled into the bar stool. Listening carefully, and getting her a refill of the water, he finally spoke "You will come back with the pack to the complex. Tomorrow during the full moon we will search for any remnants of your pack, though the way you word it doesn't give me much hope" He contemplated "I'll certainly be needing more Omegas then..." He sighed, rubbing the little girl's shoulder in a comforting way.

Nanix watched disappointed as Stiofan left, a bit frustrated that, again, she hadn't bucked up the courage to ask him out in time.

Garret watched the man leave the tavern and slowly walk around the building and out of sight. Normally he would think nothing of it, but this time something felt wrong, perhaps it was the years of training to notice minor things, perhaps it was a touch of the hunters paranoia creeping in, he couldn't tell. Slowly he backed away from the edge of the roof, careful not to step too hard or to hit any noise making objects. In his mind he calmed himself, and mulled over what weapon to use. He decided on his bow, pulling it out and flicking his wrist to unfold it, the arms clicking into place with a very light sound. Silently he reached a broad head to knock and readied a couple knives for a quick draw. He hoped it was nothing as he waited, but wait he did.

Stíofán looked round to make sure that nobody could see him, and continued walking down an alley way. He had to make sure that he did this as quietly as possible in order to make sure that the hunter didn't hear him. Stíofán found a part of the building with some holes in the wall. Quietly, but with a bit of speed, he pulled himself up the wall, making sure that the hunter didn't know that he was coming. After a minute or two, Stíofán got to the top, and was hanging off of the edge. Now, he just had to wait for the hunter to come too close, and then he can make his move.

Garret crept around the roof, his foot falls soft and deliberate. His bow still knocked, the hunter steadied his breath, waiting for visual conformation of the man before he decided to either put the arrow away or to fire it. Slowly approaching the edge where he had lost sight of the man Garret steadied his breath waiting for a glimpse of the man. Catching no sight of him Garret was momentarily confused, peering down into the alley, his grip tightening as only the shaded path met his vision. Now slightly concerned the hunter took a step back, trying to creep away from the edge.

"Stay right there, man." He said to Andrew, placing the ice bag on the guy's head before speed-walking to the door. The chilled air blew into his face as he ran across the street, following Stiofan's scent toward the building. "This guy better not be dead or else we'll both be." Keeping to the shadows, Kalib stopped at the holes in the walls. "Perfect for climbing. He hugged the wall and peered up, needing to squint his eyes before he could see Stiofan hanging there. He wondered how a big guy like him could stay hanging out on the side of a building like that.
