Zaegar blinked as he the dragon suddenly vanished and smashed him through the abandoned building, ACRUES THAT HURT. Obviously the man was more concerned with his own safety than a one on one fight, well there went part A of his escape plan; that would make this much harder. Luckily unbeknownst to the crazy man out side he had chosen this spot to rest for a reason. All the nearby building were abandoned and had rooftop access to one another, in addition there were several manholes in the area that lead to the extensive sewer system the city had. Obviously going up top was out of the question as the Dragon would just hunt him down, that left the sewer system. Silently he got up and dashed to the back of the building he strained and lifted up the man-hole cover and set it down to the side. Unless the Dragon was hurtling headfirst through the building it would go slowly expecting to see him in the small crater he had left or about to fight back, Zaegar wasn't foolish enough to do either. He yelled down the hole "Smell ya later!" making sure that it echoed and then slid under the boarded up building's door and sat next to the wall holding his breath. He was un-smellable right now and was making no noise, it would be practically impossible for the Dragon to find him now, it would undoubtedly go down the sewer hole, Zaeger grinned at the thought of the crazy pair trudging through the filth.

A sharp cry filled the air, getting Kale and Aiden's attention. Soldiers along the wall went for their weapons as a dark shape appeared above the castle. Kale was smarter than the average soldier and held up a hand. "Hold!" He called to the others on the wall, telling them in a single word to simply wait. Though unhappy, they did, keeping their weapons close at hand. Kale narrowed his eyes, trying to make out the shape. It could easily be an ally, it was too dark and the sheet of rain wasn't helping either. Before he addressed the figure, Kale held a hand out to Aiden. Who slipped from his sheath and settled into Kale's hand. It couldn't hurt to be careful, but they didn't want to just attack the unknown figure. It could end badly for all.

"Hail stranger!" Kale called to the flying figure. "I'm afraid I can't see you through all the rain. Would you mind coming closer?" As he spoke, Aiden's blue cloth wrapped around his arm, as all Honedges did when someone was holding them. Though it didn't drain his spirit like it normally would. They were twins, it must have had something to do with that. Nobody else had been recorded with being able to wield a Honedge like he did.

Hearing the cry of the culprit, Axia and John ran over to see the manhole opening, John cursed. He could give chase, but if the man had escaped into the sewers, he probably knew them well enough not to get lost. Plus, he couldn't rely on Axia being able to smell him, especially in that filth.

“Come on, Axia, we're done here. It would be foolish to follow him down there, we'd be lost in seconds.” He turned around and walked out, ignoring the Fossil Priest as he left, and decided to head to a local bar in town. After a moment of thought, he turned around to address the priest.

“Hey Fossil Guy, does your yelix or wharever fossil god disaprove if his priest sharing a drink with a mentally unstable lunatic and his equally unstable Haxorus companion?”

Korrigan
Shade obliged wuth the call of the solider, moving in close enough that he could be seen. His master, unfortunately, had taken this as an opportunity to fall asleep, thus leaving Shade to deal with everything. Luckly Shade, like most legendaries, could communicate with humans, if not with actual words, than with telepathy. So he would be able to communicate if the need arose.

Kale squinted as the shape flew closer. As he realized who it was, the knight held up his hand again, signaling to all those on patrol that it was an ally. The soldiers all seemed relieved and replaced their weapons. Happy to let the knight on patrol handle things. "Korrigan, sir, I apologize if I troubled you." Of course he recognized the man and his Yveltal. With all the rumors and legends surrounding the two, it was hard not to. Yveltal were known for the deaths of people, just like Honedges were. In some way, Kale and Korrigan were in the same boat, having Pokemon that could very well be the deaths of them. But yet they aren't.

"Shall I inform someone of your arrival, or would you like to surprise them?" It was always best to let nobles have their way. Even if a knight was just doing his job, he could still get into trouble for pissing off a man like Korrigan. Kale let go of Aiden and the Pokemon removed the blue cloth from Kale's arm and settled back into his sheath. Content with waiting. Even in death and transformation into Pokemon, it was hard for the young knight to break his old habits.

Shade was sure to land just so that he didn't accidentally squash some of the soldiers. That had happened one time, and it had taken forever to preen the blood stains out of his feathers.

Don't waste your breath, my master is asleep at the moment, and not even a shrieking Noivern can wake him up as he is now. Just take him out of his harness and move him to a bed, we only stopped by to get some rest. As for informing someone of our arrival, I really don't care, but my master would probably rather you not. He had a bit of a falling out with his father and ran off. Shade replied telepathically to the man with the Honedge, growing curious as to how he was immune to the Pokemon's soul stealing scarf.

If you don't mind, would you please inform me of how you are able to touch a honedge scarf so freely and live, it's the first time i've ever born witness to such a thing, and that's saying something.

Magnus watched as the crazy person who was in control of a Haxorus gave up on chasing the other person, who had seemingly gone down into the sewers. Gardevoir however knew this wasn't the case, sensing the man behind a nearby wall. Not wanting to see another fight, and the nearby innocent bystanders who had dispersed to check and loot the ruined mansion and other ruined buildings. "The Almighty Helix has no objections to a drink with any sort, as long as they aren't blasphemers, so there is no problem religiously. I on the other hand, am needed elsewhere and don't have time for a drink. Got more prayers to recite, more non believers to convert, more churches to visit. The busy life of a priest. Hail the Helix Fossil. " Magnus said with a slight bow, closing his book, and stuffing his hands into his robes as he walked around to where Gardevoir was hiding, the two of them turning down a side street and out of sight, Gardevoir remarking on the situation ad hand.

When they were out of sight and earshot of the man and his dragon pokemon, the two made a beeline to where Gardevoir sensed the other person, who was still there, panting. "You were right. An ordanary person would have some disfigurement, but this one doesn't. Good call Gardevoir." Magnus said casually as he approached the person, keeping a safe distance while holding out a vial of red liquid. "Hey Morph, you look tired. I've got a healing tonic for you if you will worship the Helix Fossil. what say you?" With a bit of luck, perhaps Magnus could convert some Morphs to his side. While hunted for sport, they're mystical powers could be of great use.

Kale stepped back as the Yveltal came in for a landing. As the Pokemon began to speak to him telepathically, he realized that Korrigan was asleep on his Pokemon. It was a rather amusing sight. But there was no way he was going to mention this to anybody else. He liked living. He gave the Pokemon a nod and began undoing the straps on the harness, freeing the sleeping noble and carefully sliding him down so that he was sitting against the wall of the battlements. If the noble didn't want his presence announced, then he would keep quiet about it. The only place he could put Korrigan without him getting spotted was the knight's quarters. Nobody there would care if the man was there.

As Kale got the man up over his shoulder, with Aiden laughing the whole time, the Yveltal spoke again. "To be honest, I'm not entirely sure." The knight said, adjusting the dead weight of the noble. "What I do know is that the spirit inside the sword which made it a Pokemon, is the spirit of my twin brother. It must having something to do with that." As if to prove his point, Aiden, while floating in mid air, mocked a knight standing at attention.

Shade cocked his head to the side, how interesting. Quite intriguing indeed.

You are an intertersting knight, would you please tell me your name, along with your brother's. I feel they are names that will carry great weight in the future

"Thanks for the offer but no." Zaeger replied bluntly, "Last time took something from a priest i ended up in a prison cell, i think I'll take my chances." He slipped out under the boarded up door and stretched a little, "Oof, that dragon really packed a wallop, might to have to fight that cocky twerp next time i see him." Zaegar gave a final stretch and started to walking off thinking aloud, "hmm, i could probably sick a guard on him for attempted murder, that would be fun. But, then again the way this night has gone they'd probably try to arrest me." He leaned against the wall again thinking about what to do next. He should probably go retrieve his treasure on the off=hand chance that someone else found the hole he had left in the wreckage of Chillingworth's mansion.

John shrugged, the guy seemed like he'd make for an interesting drunk. Oh well, his loss.

"Come on Axia, lets go get some mead." He and the dragon walked off into the town, with Axia in front growling at any female who stared at her master longer then she appreciated.

Korrigan

Korrigan was having the dream again. The dream where he and Shade go off to die. He was scared, he didn't want to die, not yet. He had so much more to live for, sights to see. He didn't want to die.

He woke up with a start on some guys arm, confused at first, then he remembered where he was.

"So I assume that Shade has informed you of the situation, then please lead me to where ever you were going to drag me. Also, tell me your na- IS THAT A HONEDGE!?!?!"

Korrigan had never seen one before in real life. He quickly got off of the guy to get close to the pokemon, making sure to avoid the scarf.

"This is the coolest thing I've seen all day. You are one lucky knight, where'd you get it? And how come you don't die when the scarf touches you?"

"Another time then..." Magnus said, whispering a command to Gardevoir as he handed her a strange green vial, the liquid disappearing soon afterwords and appearing over the Morph. A little harmless marker for Magnus to locate this Morph later if need be. He then turned to leave as there was no point in trying to capture a morph for, who all intents and purposes, was fairly harmless and could get him in trouble with the guards due to camouflaging himself.

Walking back towards the main street, Magnus preaching as he passed by people he did not recognize, he eventually came across the same crazy dragon pair that had sent the Morph through a wall. both him and Gardevoir noticed that the dragon was especially crazy, almost outright attacking some women when they glanced its way. "Jeez... So glad your not like that." Magnus said, giving Gardevoir a one armed hug. He continued to preach to those who would listen, gathering a small crowd when he reached the center of the street, Gardevoir moving to a perch to watch over him.

Just as Kale was about to give the Yveltal his and his brother's names, Korrigan woke up. He instantly started talking to the knight, only to stop what he was saying and go off about his Honedge. The man got off of Kale and got closer to Aiden, which the Pokemon didn't like very much and backed away. His blue cloth going between him and Korrigan. While Aiden didn't like to drain people's life, he could still use it as a threat. A knight used all the tools he was given. "I don't feel very lucky." Kale said when the man commented on him being lucky. With a sigh he began to explain again what he had just explained to the Yveltal, who supposedly was Shade.

"You know how Honedge are created when the spirit of a warrior possessed a sword? Well this spirit of that of my twin brother, who died in the fighting. That could have to do with the fact that I haven't died yet. But to be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I'm Kale by the way. And my brother is Aiden." He said, answering the questions that Korrigan and his Pokemon both had. Aiden waved the blue cloth as if saying hello. Kale didn't like talking about the fact that his brother was dead, or how he was now a Honedge. He truly wished his brother could just rest in peace, but it seemed that wasn't going to happen. Kale hoped that after he killed the Morph who killed his brother, his brother would be able to move on.

Zaegar yelled out as the goop dumped on his head, "Gah give someone a little warning before you try to drown them in strange fluids would ya?! Gosh everyone is so rude here." Zaegar rubbed his head,This stuff better come out he thought angrily. Well it was time to go get some of his stored treasure and refill his woeful treasury. Then he would wait until his payment arrived in the main square. Judging from the moon it was nearing midnight, he shouldn't have to long to wait if went to get a portion of his treasure and came back. He carefully went into another abandoned home he had located for just this purpose.

After making sure no one was around he morphed into his Combusten form and began tunneling, about an hour of hard work later he had located his hidden gold. He re-heated the gold and sliced off parts of it with his talons and pressed it into his coin maker. Then after making about 20 coins he noticed something else stuck in the gold, it appeared to be a bracelet of some kind. It had a colored stone that had a strange double helix pattern on it. Next to it was another strange colored rock, Zaegar had no idea what either of them were but the bracelet was pretty and might be able to block a hit in a fight. He stuffed the strange stone into one of his many pockets and morphed back into his human form sighing as the rush of power left him.

He walked back out of the hole with his new coined wealth. Zaegar walked back out onto the crowded streets grinning with the glow of his money, he should find a tavern, gamble up some money. If he lost oh well he had more money where that came from and he loved the thrill of gambling, especially when you knew you were going to win.

Korrigan

Korrigan nodded as he listened to Kale, moving to a more respectable distance from Aiden when he saw that the Ghost-type didn't seem to appreciate it. He put his hand out towards Kale for a handshake.

"Well that's something you don't hear everyday. It's a pleasure to meet you Kale, and you as well Aiden. Please don't take offense of I don't shake your brother's hand, but I already have a date with death, and I would hate to show up early. That's just bad manners."

Korrigan knew his joke was rather morbid, but he needed to relax himself somehow from the dream he had. He sometimes joked about his assured untimely death, finding thzt it sometimes made it less frightening. He could also tell that Shade didn't approve of it, if the chill up his spine from his icy blue glare was any indicator.

Shade despised it when Korrigan tried to laugh off his impending doom. It wasn't like Shade wanted to kill his other partners,to see them all die horrible deaths, withering in agony as their soul is torn from their bodies. But he had no choice, as ut was either them, or a town full of innocents. He couldn't fight his instincts.

As my partner has informed you, my name is Shade, and it is a pleasure to meet the both of you, Kale, Aiden. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be going on a short flight around the general area.

With that, he flew off the battlements and into the night.

Korrigan heaved a sigh as his friend and partner flew off.

"Oh great, I pissed him off."

John

John was about to head into the local tavern when he heard more fervant shouts about worshipping fossils. Wonder who that could be.

Turning around, John saw the priest from earlier give some sort of sermon. He would have found it enlightening, if they weren't talking about a hunk of rock and dead pokemon. It wasn't even an impressive one either, just a shell. Who was the idiot who started this thing anyway, cause they clearly needed help. And by help, he meant a mace to their face.

John walked over to the priest, bored again and in need io some entertainment. He knew the guy had a pokemon around, since Axia hadn't let her guard down around him, even though the fugitive had escaped.

"Hey priest, how about you put your money where your mouth is. If this Helix God is so great, then how about we put that to the test. A duel between my Axia, and whatever you got wacthing your back from the shadows right now. Surely such a 'great and powerful god' wouldn't let his priest lose to a heathen such as myself. And if your pride as a priest on the line ain't enough, I'll even convert if you win, and travel with you as your personal bodyguard."

John meant only half of what he said, he would travel with the man, but in no way would he convert over to his stupid religion, or any religion for that. They were much too constricting for his taste, but he would pretend for a bit, then ditch him when he felt the need, but at the moment he seemed like an interesting travel companion.

Of course, the zealot would have to beat Axia first, and that wouldn't be an easy feat. As long as he didn't have an Ice-type,or else John was screwed with a capital K.

Magnus was enjoying giving his preaching to those who listened, until the man from before decided to issue a challenge to him. "I suppose thats it for now people. Come to one of the churches next week and attend a ceremony if your interested! Praise Helix!" Magnus said, dismissing his small crowd with a small sigh. When the place cleared out a bit and there was room enough for a battle, Magnus gestured over his Gardevoir, who teleported next to his side, lazily leaning against it while staying on guard.

"I have no need for a bodyguard, my favorite Guardian angel here is far stronger than any knight, and cuter I must say." Magnus said with a wink, Gardevoir's expression softening up for a moment before going back to its guarded look. "But a traveling companion for a little bit sounds alright. Plus a strong follower would be most welcome. So be it." Magnus said, pulling out his prayer book with the hidden vial in it. "And you really should have more self confidence. Calling yourself a heathen just seems self destructive, doesn't it?" He said slyly as Gardevoir got into position.

When a volunteer from the small crowd that had gathered to watch the fight gave the signal to go, Magnus told Gardevoir mentally to start with a Psyshock, Gardevoir pulling rocks out of the ground and firing them at John's pokemon like missiles at many different angles, including above.

Axia tried her best, but their were just too many projectiles coming at her from every direction. She dodged a few, but most of them hit their mark.

"Crap, that Gardevoir is faster than I thought, but at least it wasn't a fairy-type attack." John silently cursed before ordering Axia to take evasive maneuvers, signaling for Dragon Dance with a snap of his finger, disguised as an irritated gesture. He had Axia move around the small battle area, not quite ready to attack.

Psychic types were tricky, always packing annoying moves like Protect or teleport, things of that nature. They could also better predict attacks and thus avoid them as well.

After having Axia run serpintine around the Gardevoir for awhile to evade other attacks the psychic type threw out, he decided it was time to go on the offensive.

"Axia, take out his Gardevoir with a Poison Jab." he yelled with a wide grin, knowing that if he hit, it would most likely be his win.

A super effective physical attack from a Haxorus was nothing to sneeze at, so even if it didn't end the battle, the Gardevoir would be greatly weakened, and poisoned if he was lucky.

Axia did as he ordered, putting all her speed and power into a vicious attack with her horns, which glowed a sickly dark purple in the dark of night, heading straight for the Gardevoir.

"But then again, I'm not really one to share." The Luxray morph continued. That, and to be honest she really wasn't feeling up to a fight. Normally she would be all over fighting with someone over any small thing. However, her instincts were telling her something was...off. Like she was being watched. She couldn't exactly say what or who, but spend enough time in the wild and you began to get a sense for the things. "And I would hate to impose any more upon your territory, so... A brief smirk was all the umbreon morph would have to warn her to her current plan. I think I'll just take my leave."

With that, Levinia picked up the Hoothoot in one swift motion. The next, she used her hind legs and sent herself sprinting through the brush at high speeds, leaving the Umbreon morph in the dust, careful to avoid dropping her meal.

While some of the psyshock hit, mostly due to the enemy dragon dancing, the Haxorus managed to dodge a decent portion of it and began to counter attack with a Poison Jab. "foolish. Learn to not announce your attacks." Magnus said as, with no physical indication from him, Gardevoir teleported a good distance into the sky. using its psychic powers to levitate, it blasted the ground below it with a Hyper Voice, making sure to aim at her target. "Got any projectile attacks? unless your pokemon can fly, it'll be very hard for you to deal with Gardevoir there."

John

"Axia, dodge and dance." Crap, he knew that Gardevoir had something up her sleeve, but he was hoping that it was protect instead of teleport.

Axia just barely dodged the attack, thanks to the speed boost from her previous Dragon Dance but was disoriented by the high pitched attack. John cursed, now his only chance of beating this Gardevoir was to outspeed it through continuous use of the move. He doubted that the priest would stand for that, and he doubt Axia would be able to dodge another attack.

He gave a growl at Magnus' comment, mostly because he knew it to be true. He had just taught Axia Poison Jab, thus he hadn't yet attached a signal to it. His other attacks were useless against the Fairy-type, so it and Dragon Dance were the only moves he could use in this duel.

Deciding he wouldn't go down easily, he gave a short whistle, another signal for a Dragon Dance, followed by a long whistle, a signal to stay as mobile possible and to keep an eye on the enemy. She was currently at 3 dances, one more might be able to be fast enough and definitely strong enough. After this fight, he was going to see if he could get someone to teach Axia a more A.O.E attack, like Earthquake.

Axia was able to just barely catch here master's signal, but her movements were a little more sporadic, not as predictable or focused. She was starting to get frustrated, letting out some menacing growl in the Gardevoirs direction.

Fang

Fang cursed when she saw the Luxuray morph run off with her dinner. So much for an easy dinner. She quickly launched herself into the air, focusing her attention on a nearby Mightyena, who was busy devouring a Swasbuck. Not for long.

She tucked breathed in deep, then blasted out a loud, harsh screech. The screech was amplified into a Boom Burst by her ears and when flying into the shocked pokemon, who was launcyed back from his meal into a tree.

Before it could even twitch, Fang dived down and landed on it,taking it's throat in her jaws. With a quick twist, the Mightyena was no more.

Fang then crawled over to the Swasbuck's corpse and picked up where the Mightyena left off, ears pricked and swiveling, listening for anything that might've been attracted by her rather loud attack.

Shade

Shade was still rather upset by his partner's tactless remark, when he heard a loud screech followed by a rather loud explosion from Nightshade forest. Curious as to what was the cause, he changed his course to the forest. As he flew, he spotted an spot of white amidst a sea of dark green.

Wondering about that more than the explosion,as it seemed less likely to get him into a uneeded fight. As he got closer, he saw that the speck was actually an Abomasnow, an odd pokemon to find in this area. It must belong to someone, as normally this pokemon was found in the mountains.

As he descended, he sent out a A.O.E telepathic message in the Abomasnow's general direction, hoping to get the trainer's attention with it.

Hello, I mean you no harm so please make sure your big, icy friend doesn't try to blast me out of the sky.

Odessa stirred in her sleep. She wasn't normally a light sleeper, but the chill of the night kept her halfway in the realm of dreams and the land of the walking. The fire she had set up should last a few more hours, enough to get some rest before she'd have to wake up and light another, hopefully without having to deal with the rain. For now, she slept without dreams. Until she heard something.

Something about those words filled her with a sense of dread. The voice didn't seem to come from anywhere in particular, yet it seemed to be directed at her. Was someone trying to talk to her?

She woke with a start and began looking around for the source of the voice. Blain was visibly agitated, seems he heard whoever was talking as well. Slowly, she stood up and grabbed the nearest weapon- her sword. She couldn't trust that whoever was out there wasn't confusing her for some unlucky merchant. "Keep an eye out, could be anywhere. Get those shards ready." She said to the Abomasnow. Blain nodded and began creating shards of ice in his hands, ready to be thrown at any bandit stupid enough to attack them. Odessa's hand gripped her sword tightly as she scanned the surrounding forest.
"Whoever's out there, show yourselves! Don't even think about attacking!"
