Eliza pondered on his words. What was she doing? It wasn't like her to be so helpful or maybe it was just that no one ever needed her help before. It was strange to think she had actually been of use to someone other than herself and her demon. But she didn't even know Dante, how did she know that he could be trusted. Eliza sat up and hid the concern and anxiety in her face.
"Well that's good to know," Eliza said casually. "But I advise that you lie down for a moment. That looked like a hard bump and you might suffer a concussion." Eliza decided to leave her bag on the ground below him, just in case he was thinking about lying down again. "Nevertheless, I'll still get some ice for your head," she said as she turned away from him, no longer wishing to play nurse. She didn't want compassion to be a weakness of hers.

"I know..." Eliza said softly as she made her way back to the kitchen quickly. "But I will get stronger."
