Eh, I'm not sure about a reboot. But we could use the extra cast members.

Due to the lack of IC activity I do think this forum needs more zest, some more youthful energy. Of course I appreciate people are busy (me included) but this is a pretty important topic, shower this forum with your opinions!!!

I've been reading this occasionally since Bing forced me at gunpoint, and given some of my other roleplaying endeavors slowing to a near halt I might be considering transferring from reader to player but I don't know, I'd probably need more convincing.

Also, Bing you totally like to ignore our PM conversation don't you? That hurts. Don't shoot me!

Ah, a lurker. Feel at home here, most of us don't bite. Usually. I'm glad it isn't just this RP that is slowly grinding to a halt!

Going to take awhile for me to re-read the IC and invest in a character though.

I'd personally wait for Wyvern's and/or IncredibleBee's opinion before doing anything. They are the GMs, any way.

But, honestly, I'm in favor of a reboot. In my opinion, it was my fault for putting together a lousy universe that my players made something actually decent out of. The premise and important info was really a bunch of random, untested ideas thrown together to make a sort-of universe. An unbreakable pact forged by angels? *sigh*

The reboot will be more thought through. Half-assed plot hooks will be replaced with feasible mini-plots. A great endgoal will be in store for the characters... but it is character driven. They can decide if they want to or not. Also, the universe will be slightly altered to include improved aspects of the world of Daiar. Everything will be thought through before posting. (Really, I have no idea what I was on when I started the gnoll attack.) If anyone thought it was good.... the intended effect wasn't so. I'm also hoping it will bring more old members back and newcomers galore. Instead of beeing a free-for-all sandbox, one of the most significant improvements will be a more constructed universe. Y'know, population statistics, a colorful history, relations with other countries, more information on other countries, etc, etc. That way, characters will have more 'feasible' situations that they can include in character backstories. I'm going to be posting an improved premise later, if you guys aren't convinced.

Note: I am still waiting for one of the GMs' opinions before I do anything.

Haven't had time to check them all out, just yet, well besides the demographics, and Tolkien. But this seems like a suitable list of some basic research materials if you do decide to reboot.

I'm still interested, I just feel there needs to be more story to it all. Saying 'Here's a town, go play' is a bit difficult to turn into a coherent plot line, since we lack the same tight space many other RPs take place in as well as the immense resources and possibilities of a Nation RP.
I would totally be in favour of a reboot. However, it is the run up to Christmas, so expect a few delays in posts.
