I predict 1-2 players may drop within the next month or two (that's just how it goes, not calling anyone out!) and I think when our ranks need filling out, I think we can revisit you joining the RP if you're still interested. I didn't think so many people would jump on and i was surprised (in a good way). I had prepared for a small group but as it turns out, it blew up much quicker. The person who just slipped in is someone I knew on the old Guild and we did need another female but now we're fairly rounded out. As I mentioned, I do foresee being able to add 11-2 more in a month or two, depending on how we're doing. Is that fair? I do thank you for the attention and interest.

I don't know Breaking Bad, I think the guy there ran his own operation, dealt drugs and fought people, the character idea would more be one of many people employed or 'employed' by one of the many large organised crime syndicates to make various drugs. Not so relevant anymore.

I see, yeah that's fine. Good luck with this game, making them go is always hard but this one looks like it has a good idea.

The new place is nice even if the town itself isn't something I'm used to. Putting me, a girl who's always lived in the city, into a country town where mostly everyone lives on farms/a devout Christian/very non-fandom is... odd.

Nah, same town, smaller and more cozy for my parents. I'll be living there until I can move into the dorms again next year but they're pretty happy about the move, it's just SO MUCH WORK.

Oooh a country sort of town? Well I'd hate to be there since I'm an Atheist myself but I'm sure given time, you'll be able to find some nice places to go and people who are nice enough to avoid tense conversation with.

I have nothing against Christians or the country. The air here is crisp, you know what I mean? Like it smells sharp and cold. It's weird. Kind of like metal? It's just different from city air.

The Christian part of the new beginning is a bit... eh. I'm an Atheist myself though I grew up in a mixed Buddhist/Christian household, but it wasn't devout. I didn't pray before meals or go to church every Sunday (I've never even been inside of one), but it was just kind of acknowledged. Here, in this place, Christian paraphernalia is shoved in my face constantly and I'm honestly a little uncomfortable about being asked to go to attend the place's church youth group every other week or so. It's also very odd adapting because everyone here is a white heterosexual. Back at my old place, there were a lot of white heterosexuals but I knew so many that weren't. I don't know, but it just seems more close-minded here than I'd like.

Thankfully, I have found people to converse with. They have also read Harry Potter unlike the rest of the population, so that's a plus.

Aspid, what you described is exactly what I deal with everyday, and while the majority of the place may be closed-minded, I am quite certain you should be able to find some more progressive people. It may take sometime, but they exist there somewhere. But, yeah in small places it does tend to be generally close-minded which is really aggravating sometimes, but you should be able to get used to it. Hopefully.

I've gotten used to the fact that people aren't as open-minded here as I'm used to. There's a lot more relationship drama/gossip here then at my old school which is always fun to hear. Ice, have you always had to deal with this? I mean, I can't even have a long conversation with more than three people about fandom related things. Like, judging from your signature and avatar, I would have a maximum of two people to talk to about it.

Genkai, is this going to be a slower RP? Just want to know so I don't think it's dead or something.

I hope not, we had a promising start and I'm not sure where everyone went off to. I know it's either A) Busy time for school or B) Busy time for work/home life. even so I do expect things should pick up or for people to be more communicative. I should ask for people's skype handles in case the guild is down but since people are posting every day or so which is what I asked for...I'm not too concerned yet. Posting Habits: My habits tend to vary quite greatly, sometimes I’m really fast, sometimes I’m extremely slow. But usually it’s because at some points in life I have a lot of time – as I tend to write very slowly (watching me write is excruciating, it’s like watching paint dry). Lately, I’ve started doing more re-reads of my posts before posting them because I’ve started to notice more mistakes. However, I’ve been trying to reply within a day or two, given that RPG doesn’t delete my post, but it’ll likely average replying within a couple of days of my own turn coming around.

RP Peeves: Ooh, where to begin… I’m not perfect, so the thing that bothers me most is probably my own mistakes and seeing them… then going “Oh my god, did somebody actually read that and not tell me it was there?” – so, when somebody doesn’t tell me about habitual mistakes or ways to improve my own work can be irksome. However, I generally dislike when people don’t contribute to the content. When a cycle begins of “GM Post > everybody responds > GM > respond” … It’s good for organization, but I think every roleplay is a product of the players reacting, not responding. If the connotation there isn’t quite clear, sorry, sometimes I’m not the best communicator OOC. But I do try and keep working at communicating until the messages are all crystal clear.

Anything Else: Well, I work 40 hours a week, workout 4-5 times/week, sometimes more. I’m trying very hard to lose weight so that I can join the Navy, so that’s my number one focus. I’ve plenty of time to roleplay still – my goal is to leave in April and I’ll keep you all posted on that. If there’s one thing I like to do, it’s update when something really big happens. I’m really not sure what life will be like after that, and I’m really excited, but it’s just an important thing about myself! Uh… I’m more of an editor than a writer, to be honest, I tend to have a really hard time writing alone. Feel free to PM it to me or tack it to your CS if you'd like. I don't use it much myself but it's better to have it just in case or for any quick collab questions in the future. In my experience, ADV RPs aren't very quick moving, that would fall to more Free/Casual posts where I'd say less thought goes into progress/depth.

As a side note, I changed Anais' third fear - decided "Judgment" fit more appropriately. The original was a bit more... Uh... lopsided, I guess? Or rather... I don't know, it just didn't quite seem to be good.
