Stamina:
Stamina is your energy. The less stamina you have, the more tired you are. Eating, drinking water, and sleeping restore stamina. Performing laborious tasks, such as climbing, performing magic or swordplay, will reduce your stamina. Getting injured by falling or by other means will also cost you stamina. Once you hit 0 stamina, you die. Your maximum stamina is 20. You will always know how much stamina you have, however, you do not know what certain activities will cost you.
Races:
There are many races you can be. They are as follows:
Human: A well-rounded race, decent in magic and in combat.
Dwarf: A short, stubborn people, they tend to do better in swordplay.
Elf: Cheery and carefree, they are more adept at magic than swordplay.
Red-Eyes: Weaker overall and short-tempered, but have the ability to shoot fireballs from their eyes at will.
Gnome: Weaker overall and eccentric, but spells that involve items, as well as items in general are more effective.
Orc/Ogre: Weaker overall and quiet, they tend to be faster, and better with more exotic weapons.
Dragonborn: Weaker overall and honor-bound, they have thick scales, which protect them better than skin.
Magic:
Magic is created by aligning three stars from above. Certain stars only show up in certain places. Each spell woven has an effect- but the effect depends on the incantation. Certain spells require Stamina, others a focus, or object of some sort. Although, if you try to cast a spell that has no effect, you will be punished dearly- sometimes with your life. But don't worry, you have a spellbook, and that gives you a few basic spells. They are as follows:
Zap: Summon a bolt of lightning that strikes whatever you wish it to. Costs three stamina.
Hot: Create a fireball and launch it at whatever you wish it to. Costs three stamina.
Fof: Create a protective force-field around you. Costs three stamina.
Wal: Create an invisible wall that cannot be broken. Costs three stamina.
Law: Allows control over non-intelligent creatures. Costs three stamina.
Dum: Causes creatures to become extremely clumsy. Costs three stamina.
Big: Grows the user into three times their size. Costs one stamina.
Wok: Creates an invisible shield on the user's wrist. Costs one stamina and requires a small amount of gold (Consumed).
Dop: Opens locks and doors. Costs one stamina.
Raz: Sharpens blade. Requires beezwax (consumed).
Sus: Sense danger. Costs one stamina.
Six: Clones the user. Costs one stamina.
Jig: Causes lively dancing. Requires bamboo pipe.
Gob: Summons a Goblin. Requires a Goblin's tooth (Consumed).
Yob: Summons a Giant. Requires a Giant's tooth (Consumed).
Gum: Creates a large amount of glue on a surface. Requires a vial of glue (Consumed).
How: Finds escape. Costs one stamina.
Doc: Heal a person. Requires a medicinal potion (Consumed).
Doz: Cause sluggishness in a creature. Costs one stamina.
Dud: Summon fake gold. Costs one stamina.
Mag: Protect from other magics. Costs one stamina.
Pop: Create explosions. Requires one pebble (Consumed).
Fal: Causes the user to fall slower. Costs one stamina.
Dim: Causes stupidity. Costs one stamina.
Fog: Create darkness. Costs one stamina.
Mud: Create quicksand. Requires a vial of sand (Consumed).
Nif: Create an intense odor. Requires nose plugs.
Tel: Read minds. Requires a cloth skullcap.
Gak: Cause fear. Requires a black facemask.
Sap: Cause depression. Costs one stamina.
God: Make people around you like you more. Requires a jewel of gold.
